House holiday rentals in Akkrum

We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

We were there in June, four of us – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

This is a beautiful airbnb in a forested location; peaceful and quiet. There is ample seating outside to enjoy the natural surroundings. It’s a very charming place to stay; we loved it!

The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

With a group of friends of 5 people, we stayed three nights in this AirBnB on a small-scale park. There were few other guests in the park, so we could enjoy the nice jacuzzi and garden. Unfortunately, for the (unheated) pool, the temperature outside was just a bit too cold. Inside is a lot of space, the cottage is much larger in terms of seating space than for 5-6 people. The beds (a total of 6 sleeping places) were excellent. With two refrigerators, six burners (gas stove) and a spacious dishwasher, the kitchen was also great, although unfortunately there was no towel or tea towel available to dry the hands and small dishes. It is also nice that there are two toilets (one of which is separate), but the door to the bathroom with toilet cannot be locked and does not close completely. Arrival is fine, with some information from the host in advance via the app and on site instructions to get to the right cottage at the small bungalow park. All in all a great stay in a nice area!

We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. But the house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house has been furnished with attention to detail. The bed was amazingly cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped. Highly recommended for a relaxing short trip 😊

Even though we had a very wet weekend, we had many opportunities to have a good time. Whether it was on the boat, in the village, where you could sit very comfortably everywhere, or of course in Anneke's house. Everything was available there, just like at home, and we always made ourselves comfortable in the evening with the family. Thanks for the stay.

Very nice location and a beautiful spacious house. It is only a short walk to the nearest sailboat rental and the view from the house was great! Glad the kitchen was complete with herbs and oil. Communication with host was quick and efficient. Definitely worth the repetition!

We felt very comfortable right away and as three couples including a small child, we had everything we needed, enough space and a kitchen that left nothing to be desired. We will be happy to come back :)

A fantastic vacation home with incredibly warm landlords. We had a wonderful time with 2 toddlers, 4 adults and our senior dog. Super equipped kitchen, cozy living room, comfortable beds and a great terrace let you spend a wonderful vacation. Many beautiful experiences are possible around Grou, for people of all ages. But the best thing was the unconditional willingness to help when we were stranded because unfortunately the car key ended up in the trunk, the car locked! Everything in it! And we now had to drive to Germany with car 2 to get a spare key… Thank you Auke & Marie Christine that we were allowed to wait safely with you 🙏

Very nice location in a quiet village. Leeuwarden is within cycling distance and easy to get to other cities by car. You can charge an electric car at the house: very easy because there are not many other charging points in the village. House is neatly decorated, spacious and looks quite new. Recommended!

Small, nice cottage located directly on the canal. Clean and well equipped. City center about 5 min by car. We will definitely be back!!

We were there with five adults and a toddler and had a great time! We happened to be in a vacation home in the same park, which was also beautifully located, but the cabin in the woods is really a highlight: The forest is directly adjacent to the garden, so that you not only have a lot of privacy but the atmosphere directly provides pure relaxation (view from the hot tub and sauna directly into the forest). The furnishings were modern and well thought out. The bathroom and the open-plan living and dining area were further highlights. The landlords responded quickly to questions. We would definitely come back!

Super nice stay in a beautiful holiday home right on the water. With the enclosed garden and built-in trampoline, the residence is ideal for families with young children. The sun terrace with BBQ made it very pleasant for adults.

We had a very relaxing stay with six plus dog. The location of the house is very quiet and really beautiful - several times we were lucky enough to admire an enchanting sunset over the lake. Within walking distance, we were several times at the small harbor and were able to relax there. Several small villages are easily accessible by bike, by car we were in various places of the IJsselmeer and in Sneek - all super cute! The house itself is spacious and optimally divided with a ground floor bedroom with its own bathroom but separate toilet that can be used by everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, although we would have liked a regular coffee machine in addition. The combination oven/microwave is super convenient. Big compliment too😉: Finally an apartment with enough hangers!

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time in this beautiful house right on the water! The location is simply fantastic - you can look directly onto the water from every room. The house is very modern, stylish and designed with great attention to detail. The kitchen has a lot of kitchen appliances and spices. In general, nothing was missing in the equipment. A small note for those with pollen allergies: There is a lot of nature in the area, which is beautiful - but it is advisable to have allergy medication with you if you are sensitive. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the house!

The house is simply magnificent and quiet with its location directly on the canal! You can watch ships all day or get active yourself. We had our bikes with us and took nice trips directly on the canal. A trip by kayak, which is available there, in the direction of Wanswerd is also highly recommended. The house is very clean and well maintained. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. Clear recommendation!

We stayed in the accommodation over New Year's Eve and felt very comfortable. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.
