Hotel Radish House! A cozy inn where you can also enjoy the hot springs.

Jenny BRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Private bedroom in a hostel-like home. Cozy and warm, with a hot spring-fed tub in the lower level. I enjoyed three FABULOUS dinners specially made to suit my dietary needs…thank you!! I took the public transportation bus each day into Nyuto Village Hot Springs area. Also, the onsen Mizusawa is totally worth the 15-minute walk. Best way to navigate is plug in “Hotel Radish House” in Google maps. Nice family. I hope to return again.

A place where you can unite with nature in Akita

We enjoyed ourselves with all the Oriyamake had to offer. Hideyuki-San was a very gracious host and creatively curated the entire experience for us. It was very enriching, having fun and learning about Matagi culture.

Very clean place, decent renovation work. Nice, quite surroundings, with convenient bus stops. Quite a few shopping centres, convenience stores, and restaurants around.

It is popular with long-term foreign guests and leisurely solo travelers, who say it is "comfortable" "It's like coming home" and is popular!

The owner was really kind to me, so I had a reassuring stay.It is also very fun to talk, so I recommend it to those who care about meeting people!! You can also tell me about many delicious local shops and tourist attractions, so if you are visiting for the first time, you can fully enjoy your side!

Farmhouse Accommodation Ryugetsu-Sato Farm [Stay Plan]

The garden and cherry blossoms were beautiful and the valley in spring exceptionally pretty. The traditional building and decor was wonderful to experience. Although renovations were well underway there was still damage to repair. Lana and Nozomi and their young daughter were delightful company and they catered for my vegetarian needs with wonderful japanese meals.

I was warmly welcomed and had a fun week! It was fun to eat together and talk about Akita and each other's personal stories. They were also understanding of me doing online work in the room, and it was comfortable. It was comfortable to be able to soak in the bath every day! I walked around Sennju Park, the former Kurosawa family residence, and the Nebuta Nagashi Museum, and shared what I learned there with the two of them, and I gained new knowledge and learned about the history of Akita City. I am surprised by my strong interest in new things, which is not expected of my age. While respecting the traditions of Japan and Akita, the trendy thinking and tolerance are very attractive. We highly recommend staying here.
