It is about a 20-minute drive from Akita Station and a 15-minute drive from Akita Airport. There are 3 rooms for guests, and between them is one of them. There are twelve tatami mats between them.Use by more than 4 people can be connected to the adjacent room. Apart from the ■private use, the kitchen, toilet (3), baths, etc. will be shared with other guests, but the common area is spacious, so I think you can relax even if other guests come. Unlike ■hotels, it is low airtight, so I think it will feel cold in the winter, but I try to be as warm as possible. The ■host's living space is on the second floor of the same building.The entrance and lobby area are shared with the host. ■We have a pet cat and a dog.If you have an animal allergy, you cannot stay. ■BBQ is available.Free rental of equipment and equipment.Please be sure to message me in advance.

It is a renovated facility that has been DIY in a 50-year-old private house. Please do not be nervous such as noise (talking) or vibration. It is rural. There is only one shop 2km away (it closes at 20:00) No air conditioning.You will regret it if you come in the hot summer months. In winter, it is a wood stove.The hallway is cold.You may also want to chop the wood. There is a river and waterfall nearby, so you can enter and play.Especially recommended in the summer♪ Neighbors come on a high frequency.Let's socialize together. (We do not recommend our guest house if you are not comfortable with people.) Drinking parties are also held regularly.If the timing is right, we can drink it together. This is an old thatched house built in 143 years ago. The family that has lived in the house for generations has protected it, but it was planned to be demolished because of the financial issues in 2014. In order to preserve the original landscape of the satoyama for the next generation, we revitalize the house as a membership guest house. However, the activities were stopped due to the pandemic. In June 2024 we reopened the house as a private accommodation place (rental vacation house).

Relax and cozy. Entire house is for you in the National Park. Mountain view from the all windows and you only hear the sounds of nature. You can enjoy all the season with different experience. Only winter season, there is free shuttle bus service from Geto Ski Resort from Kitakami station to the accommodation. 3min to get bus stop and 15min to access Ski Station. The time schedule is on them website. The bus stop Name is "Semi Onsen". We can transfer from the train station with extra fee.

This Cabin is a newly refurbished self catering unit that will easily sleep 6 people with room to spare. It's close to the slopes and has all the modern appliances you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove, blender, rice maker, fridge freezer, kettle and an automatic self grinding coffee pot. It is stocked well enough with plates, cups, silverwear etc to easily cater for 8 people.

Yohei is a very friendly and helpful host, he actively reach us to understand our trip and gave us extra information to understand more in what we need to prepare or how it would be like near his place. He came to JR station to help taking our suitcases and drove us to his place, whixh is very welcoming and hassle free as a tourist who never been to that area. After he knew we are going for the firework festival, he gave us information about which train we should take and the route to get to the firework area at Daisen, he even offered to drive us back if we could not catch the last train (I think he need to drive for at least 45 mins to get to Daisen). Yohei also recommended a cafe nearby and drove us there, it is actually within walkable distance. The cafe serves really nice coffee and cheesecake, and astonishing view at their outdoor seats at thee backyard, which is right next to a lake, and we realised even tourist board took poster image at the same cafe with the view to promote

Our host Ryohei was very friendly and the place was cozy and very clean. We checked in late after seeing the Omagari fire festival but he was very kind to greet us. Although the geographical conditions are somewhat accessible, it is the best place to experience the quiet countryside of Japan.

Despite the rainy weather and it being the "off season", I had a great stay. The entire building is very well looked after and I could clearly see that it is maintained with great care. The in-house onsen was a highlight! Great access to Kakunodate, Lake Tazawa and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the emergency exit sign shone into the room a bit and the pillow was a bit hard, but I would easily visit again.
