House holiday rentals in Akaroa Harbour

Fantastic property. Even better than photos. The pool and outside area was amazing. Every amenity you could think of was there. Added touch of a Christmas tree and a present under it for our the little girl in our group. Would highly recommend.

Amazing place. Beautiful inside and out (pool, patio dining, garden), modern, and immaculate. Everything was high quality from five star bedding to the well equipped kitchen. Hostess Jules was very responsive and friendly…The property sits in a nice neighborhood high above Christchurch, and our favorite part was on the other side (a short drive) - Taylor’s Mistake Beach and the world class walking trail above and past it. I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was really nice.

Rebecca and Pete are absolute amazing hosts. The house is perfect with everything you need, lots of private outdoor area, huge deck and a hot tub. Very kid friendly with a sandpit, trampoline and toys. We felt like home!

What a beautiful home in a unique location. Our three generations gathered from three countries for a lovely 5 days together in Christchurch. The views from all levels of this home are over the top. With high end cookware, two dishwashers and (my personal favorite and usual airbnb pet peeve) sharp knives, we grilled and gathered for “dinners in” every night instead of going out. Great access to governors bay pier and coffee/pizza just a short walk away. Loved this place so much and would return in a heartbeat.

The Bond estate is a beautiful property grey for family groups with an excellent playground, great heated pool and spa, and plenty of space for everyone.

Sharon is an incredible host. She made us feel like apart of her family. The home was warm, spacious and equipt with everything we might need as a large family. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are prestine, and there is plenty of space inside and out. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time, and when we are back in Rolleston we will be booking again. Thank you so much Sharon.

I can't thank Louise enough for our wonderful little homely and private cottage in the autumn trees, showering yellow leaves over the garden. Rose Cottage is just pure magic at this time of the year, especially if you are a keen photographer as l am: While it is close to the airport it isn't in the flight path so there's not that much aircraft noise, and it is close to supermarket, coffee shops, etc. Louise and Matthew are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their property to anyone visiting Christchurch and wanting something just a slightly bit different :)

Our team had a fabulous stay here in between attending a three day wānanga at Ōnuku Marae, around the corner. The location is perfect, nestled in the bush with so much bird life! We were able to easily explore Akaroa township by foot, with lots of excellent food and drink options nearby. The house is well heated, excellent layout for larger groups, and suited our needs perfectly. Thanks so much!

What a find! This was the perfect spot for our team to come together. The space was comfortable, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed for a productive and inspiring couple of days workshops. The stunning surroundings were tranquil and really set the scene, which made it even better. The house is gorgeous and we felt it was a privilege to stay there. The morning coffee watching the sunrise was a real treat. The attention to details and the extra starter supplies were a real special touch. The house was amazing and opening the Oceanside doors brought nature to us! We will stay again!!!

Wonderful place for a large group. We were two families with grown teens and young adult children and we all had plenty of room to spread out and hang out. Comfortable and spacious house with an amazing outlook and a wonderful large front deck. The kitchen is large and very well stocked and the BBQ is well placed on the back deck beside the kitchen. Comfortable beds with high quality linens. Great walking tracks nearby and an easy drive into Akaroa or Barry's Bay. Had a fabulous time and hope we have a chance to return! Highly recommend.

Annette’s home is a perfect place to stay in Akaroa. Great location with beautiful views. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. Beautiful and clean. Annette is a wonderful host who always responded to our messages and was flexible with our check out. Would definitely recommend this home.

We can’t recommend Blake’s property highly enough. The views are simply spectacular, the house is warm and inviting and the area is great with lots to do. Blake’s communication was excellent and always responsive. We look forward to returning again soon! Sam

Such an amazing spot, and the view from the shower is stunning! Parking does require a bit of maneuvering, but the house is comfy and really well set up. We loved it

I loved my stay here! The bach is cosy and warm with a nice homely feel to it. Someone else in their review mentioned the muesli and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed that as well! The highlight for me was how peaceful and quiet it was out there, and with the beach so close and lots of walking tracks to explore it was the perfect staycation I needed to get out of the city for a few days. I would highly recommend staying here and I hope to be back soon myself!

Wonderful stay at this breathtaking Airbnb. Amazing sea view made every morning feel special. The house itself was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Host was incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. Would love to come back anytime!

We had a lovely relaxing weekend in Akaroa. This property is in a great location that offers peace and privacy. There's plenty of room, good off street parking and beds were very comfortable.

Good suburban location just north of city. Just a 10 min or so drive into city. We stayed here at beginning and again at end of our trip. Family appreciated the space to spread out and relax. Had everything we needed in kitchen and appreciated the nespresso machine and milk frother to enjoy cappuccinos every morning before heading out. Host was very responsive to inquiries. We had a small issue parking with a very large SUV as it’s a very long narrow driveway and we didn’t want to back out all that distance. And very limited space at front of house. But with host advice was able to turnaround by pulling onto grass and pivoting back out. TV had all the major media apps like Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime, etc. and nice central air/hear controls, etc made things easy. Sadly we did not have time to enjoy the back yard Would highly recommend if looking for a more spacious home to set up base from with a rental car. If you need Ubers, they arrived in 2 to 3 minutes.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Bach in Duvauchelle. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Maree was a very responsive host and described the house perfectly. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather for our stay and due to the location we enjoyed some country walks and returned to a lovely, warm house. We would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to stay again ourselves.

A very warm, private, and immaculate place. Set back from the road with great privacy and beautifully maintained throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, the smart TVs are a bonus, and the bathroom is modern with a good shower. Very responsive and welcoming host. Highly recommended!
