Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Aime

Alain's chalet is just as charming as his personality. We had a great week in the middle of the mountain. It's best to be equipped with a car for sure. The place is really charming and not far from the access to the large stations La Rosière, the arches etc ... Definitely recommended.

We really enjoyed staying in this house. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. All our needs were thought out and fully met. The kitchen had everything for cooking and the seating area was quite comfortable. The location was also quite good; we had a pleasant time in a quiet and peaceful environment. The host was also extremely kind and communicative, quick to help with everything. The only thing missing was a hair dryer in the house.

Axelle's house is really amazing; everything anyone can ask. Beautiful, big, with nice facilities, fully equipped, in a nice and quite village. It was the second time we booked and stayed at Axelle's house and for sure we will go back next year. Axelle was really nice and friendly, and very easy to communicate for whatever we needed during our stay. I fully recommend it. 5 stars for sure!

What an unforgettable stay! The view of Lake Annecy with the mountains in the background is absolutely stunning. You can watch paragliders landing and boats gently cruising on the lake. The lake is just a 2-minute walk from the property, and the surroundings are peaceful and incredibly scenic. The house is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, offering both comfort and functionality. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the patio while soaking in the stunning views of Lake Annecy. The windows and doors are soundproof, so you can enjoy peaceful, undisturbed nights without any noise from passing vehicles. Ample parking is available, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. There was nothing to complain about, only wonderful things to say. Restaurants and supermarkets are close by. I stayed for 3 nights, but it felt too short. The place is so beautiful that even 10 days would not have been enough. Words can’t do justice to the view. I am in awe and will definitely be back.

We had a great time with the family (13 people), in this beautiful cottage, pleasant to live in even many. The bedding is comfortable. Only small problem is the frequency of shuttles especially during return times, with expectations that can reach an hour.

Very spacious chalet, well equipped. Beautiful kitchen, warm lounge /fireplace area, there were a dozen of us and had a lovely stay. Very pleasant stay as expected.

We could not have asked for a more amazing three weeks. The chalet is in an exceptional location on the hillside above Arc 1600. The views on all sides are breathtaking - sunsets and sunrises, Mont Blanc, the Tarentaise Valley. The morning birdsong is deafening. You're pretty undisturbed up there - the occasional skier passing or parapenter taking off or snow-shoer wandering by. The chalet itself is beautiful, well-furnished and well-equipped and the huge terrace has sun all day on sunny days. Laurent is an excellent host. It is accessible either by skidoo (on arrival with luggage); a chairlift then T-bar on skis (quite easy with groceries from a visit to the shop in 1600) or, if the drag isn't running, it's an easy 250m walk up from the chairlift. (The walk down to the village takes around fifteen minutes but longer in deep snow, the walk up from the village could be done by brisk walkers in twenty five minutes but it is uphill all the way).

We were hosted very well by our hosts who are really friendly. The accommodation is large, totally faithful to the photos and description, very well-equipped, with very comfortable sofas and bed. We had a very relaxing week and were able to enjoy the nearby Morel waterfalls by car during the hot weather. It was a lovely stay!

We have made several rentals within Arêches, the ground floor apartment of a chalet in Véronique is the most spacious booked. A beautiful garden overlooking the mountain. Three beautiful bedrooms. Very suitable for children 13 months old. I recommend Véronique's apartment. And Véronique is a very quiet and sweet host. You can do anything by foot from the apartment (center of Arêches, hiking departure).

The place is as shown in the photos, placed really well, 10min away are restaurants and markets to buy supplies from, a ski rental place, and only 30min by car to Courchevel lifts. The place is nice and cozy and Marine was very kind and helpful with guidance throughout our stay. We only felt that the bathroom was a bit cold, even with the radiator on, you could feel a bit cold when we got out of the shower.

Wow what a wonderful holiday. We had a fantastic time. The house was lovely with a great outdoor area and pool. It was very peaceful but not far from the town centre (5-10 min walk). There you could find a boulangerie, small supermarket and several restaurants. You could walk to the lake in about 10 - 15 mins. We did not bother hiring a car. Instead we hired bicycles for some of the holiday. We also did lots of walking. It was very hot but fortunately we had aircon in the house. I would definitely go there again. We previously stayed in Annecy but this was more relaxing. It took about 25 mins to cycle to Annecy and you can almost exclusively do this on cycle paths. The hosts were extremely helpful even though they were on holiday in Brasil as we had one small issue with the power that they managed to quickly resolve.

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation. Marianne was very thoughtful with a tree on when we arrived, the kids were thrilled! Everything was impeccable in the house which is very spacious. There were 7 of us including 3 children and two more small dogs and we didn't walk on them, everyone could have their own space. Close to the St François longchamp ski resort 30 min away, recommended by Marianne. Great for teaching kids skiing And finally the point that was most important for us was to find a house that accepts dogs ( and it's increasingly rare), again a big thank you to Marianne.

Benjamin's place was all we were looking for during kids' winter break: spacious enough for 2 families, great location and comfortable with all needed amenities. Location could not have been better: only 5 min drive to ski lifts & Megeve center, only 20 min walking distance to Megeve center with near-by shops for daily groceries. Benjamin was also very responsive and proactive, enabling us to have a very smooth check-in. We would definitely recommend and would like to come back again!

Beautiful location...great set up at house.

Our stay at Claude & Michelle's was perfect. With a large group, the home felt like it was ours for the week-long stay. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was perfect for great meals, and it was lovely to stay at a less busy part of the lakeside. Our hosts were accommodating of our requests and I'd definitely recommend this lodging for future trips with many guests.
