Welcome back! Fortunately, our apartment was spared from the flood disaster. We have spent the last few weeks with numerous helpers to renew the building services. We are looking forward to having you back. Of course, a lot has changed in the Ahr valley and there is still a lot to do, but for example the hiking trails are intact and nothing stands in the way of a nature vacation. By car, you can reach the Nürburgring, the Ahr, the Ruhrsee or Phantasialand Brühl in a good half hour. Shopping is 10 km away. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.

Our apartment in the Haus des Kindes Ahrweiler is located in a beautiful old listed building right in the old town of Ahrweiler on the market square. We have been running the children's shop on the first floor of the house for over 100 years. After the flood completely destroyed the first floor, I took the opportunity to prepare the apartments above it and rent them out as a vacation rental. I hope you like it.

Comfortable holiday home in the heart of old town Ahrweiler. Completly remodeled appartment in a landmarked town house of 1765. The station is just about 5 minutes away. This also apllies to the famous "Rotweinwanderweg". For a fast shopping or a cup of coffee you just have to leave the front door. Free WiFi available. It's a quiet place but right in the middle.
