Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ahrensbök

We spent two beautiful days in the bright and friendly apartment – together with my girlfriend's four-year-old daughter. The apartment was clean, welcoming and cozy, so we felt right at home. The parking fees in the parking garage are not without, but the wellness area and especially the swimming pool delighted us. The location couldn't be better either: the sea is almost right outside the door! We were able to enjoy the water, stroll along the promenade and browse the many small shops. All round, a successful short trip

I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like this house. It’s like something out of a movie. The photos are great but once you get there you will be blown away by the decor and the technology. The hosts were very helpful and proactive with how the house operates. Which is especially helpful as this house has a bit of a learning curve with its technological systems. Very cool though once you get to grips with it. A stunning experience all around and would definitely go back!

WOW!!! What an incredibly beautiful, unique oasis! We immediately felt at home. we were kindly welcomed by Massud who is one of the greatest and most generous hosts we have ever met. The apartment is incredibly cosy, the jacuzzi pure luxury, and the icing on the cake is the wonderful garden. We spent the mornings and evenings sitting outside, enjoying life. Supernice area, loads of nice restaurants, shops, walkable, relaxed. Highly recommended!!

We booked very short notice, then Holger contacted us immediately and was very quick on site when we arrived. Check-in was straightforward. We got all the important information about the area. We stayed in an apartment in the attic, which was well equipped and clean. However, access was only possible through the apartment in the basement, which is a bit peculiar. The area is very quiet (rural), as there are no restaurants or cafes nearby, you are dependent on self-catering. Since we were traveling by bike and had no food with us, the place was not so optimal for us. The nearest supermarkets are 5 km away. Fresh seasonal vegetables are available directly from Holger. Nice place for self-catering with small restrictions.

We enjoyed it very much. The house is very nice and we lacked nothing. Fiona was quick to respond to any questions and was accommodating. The path to the beach ( a beautiful lagoon), the children felt a little long at 10-15 minutes and would have liked to have a scooter or bike with them. But were only there for 2 nights, otherwise we would probably have borrowed bicycles for the beautiful area.

Markus apartment is a great choice if you're looking for something very central and in a lovely location. The apartment is airy and spacious and exactly as the photos. Markus gave clear instructions and made sure everything was in order through messages before arrival.

We had a wonderful wellness weekend with the girls in this fantastic house! We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful outdoor area, which together with the hot tub created a really relaxed atmosphere. The sauna was also a real highlight. The bedrooms are super nice and cozy, and the whole house is modern and lovingly designed – you immediately feel at home. The short way to the beach is perfect for walks. The only small drawback: Shopping is a little further away. But for that, the great house always compensates! Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

The house was awesome for our extended Easter weekend with 7 people. 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms were super comfortable. The kitchen was very nicely large and very extensively equipped with dishes as well as cooking utensils. We had a lot of fun trips to the beach , to Lübeck and to Travemünde as well as the garden. Nina was always easily accessible and responded promptly to all our questions and requests. This was a great weekend, which we can warmly recommend without restrictions.

Despite the rain, we had a great long weekend with the family. Everyone had their retreat. We met in the garden gazebo or in the house by the fireplace. There were 9 of us. The house has a lot of charm. Cozy beds. We didn't miss anything. We'll be happy to come back.

Quiet, beautiful accommodation, has everything you need and with the use of the garden a wonderful break

Beautiful place to stay. Well maintained. Plenty of extra clean towels, sheets, etc. Easy access to places to eat, shop. Multiple transport options to get around town found close by. Hot water takes some time to come through. WiFi was not reliable for people looking to work remotely.

We felt very comfortable with Laudine and Martina during the week. From check-in to check-out, everything was extremely friendly and flexible. The apartment was 100% in line with the photos and descriptions. In the immediate vicinity, possible activities are limited (our little ones nevertheless enjoyed the playground as well as the grazing ponies opposite), but the entire area from Lübeck to Scharbeutz can be reached in a few minutes by car. All in all, great hosts and an equally great stay!!

Hans is a wonderful host! We had a fantastic time at his place. Highly recommend visiting and staying over especially if you’re looking for a calm place to relax. For us it was a real treat and the apple juice was delicious! :)

We spent five weeks in winter in Cornelia's cozy, charming accommodation. It is furnished with a lot of love for detail, and there was nothing missing. The location is unbeatable in the immediate vicinity of the canal. Our dogs loved it. Just like the lovingly maintained garden. In short, we highly recommend the apartment!

The Stechmann family welcomed us as if we were part of the family. Everything was very warm and straightforward. The way they handled our 11-month-old daughter was particularly great. She was immediately handed a strawberry as a welcome gift. The apartment had a baby bed, a high chair and toys. Even the sockets were childproof. Great! We were allowed to park our bikes, which was also great. Everything was just right!

The accommodation was exactly as shown, the communication with Linda and Sebastian perfect, the handover worked very easily. My absolute highlight: The large balcony having 🤩 breakfast in the beach chair in the sun was simply heavenly.

The check-in worked wonderfully without problems, the sauna was fabulous as well as the pool. quiet environment Parking in front of the property wonderful, restaurant just around the corner not far into the city. We felt super comfortable and would definitely use it again and recommend it to others.

Our stay in the vacation home with Dana and Volker was a complete success. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and immediately felt welcome. The house is lovingly furnished, very clean and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The garden also invites you to linger and offers plenty of space for cozy hours outdoors. Dana and Volker were always helpful without being intrusive, and were always available to answer questions. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

A super nice, very clean and very lovingly furnished mini apartment with great views from the balcony. Edith is an excellent host, always available for questions and has thought of everything from robotic vacuum cleaner to baking paper. There's nothing missing. On the contrary, the detailed equipment gives the apartment a beautiful, personal touch and the very special extra touch. We can fully recommend Edith and will be happy to come back!

If you are looking for a few days of peace and relaxation, this is the place to have breakfast in a park among fruit trees with sensational views of a water lilies, early in the morning you have the chance to see a kingfisher while bathing, behind the house a beautiful stream, as far as the eye can see fields meadows and forest . Beautiful natural beach 15 min boltenhagen 30 min Lübeck or Wismar 45 min! Wi-Fi poorly the nearest baker 15 minutes away - didn't matter to us! Absolutely recommended!

Wonderfully spacious holiday home in a very quiet area and a very quiet village. You should therefore take into account that you will have to travel a little further for daily shopping. You can also combine these errands with the trips you make. Because from this location, you can quickly reach Schwerin, but also a number of nature reserves where you can enjoy a good hike. We were pleased to be able to charge our electric car at Kathrin's door. Kathrin responded quickly and clearly to our questions. A successful stay.

We spent the turn of the year in Schönhagen with peace and convenience. The apartment is located not far from the beach and is equipped with everything you need. We used the sauna in the basement to ourselves. The place is a good starting point for numerous excursions, especially even in warmer weather by bike. Thanks to Jan for the nice welcome.

Wolfgang and Carola welcomed us very kindly. They were flexible and extremely nice. The place was great for us. The double bed in the separate bedroom was very cozy. The bathroom is quite cramped, but in a very clean and good condition. We didn't use the kitchen knives, but everything important seemed to be there. In addition to the kitchen knife, the second room offered enough space for a dining table and a living area with a folding sofa bed. The location is very quiet and the large garden is a true oasis. For our purposes, the location was great, but otherwise it is a residential area with manageable offers. We will be happy to come back!
