kirani hab ich bie getroffen, aber sie war sehr hilfreich mit nachrichten. elmer und maria sind super nette menschen. danke für alles! und danke elmer, dass du mir gezeigt hast, wie man kokosnüsse knackt😆 leider sehr abgelegen und kaum infrastruktur. dafür wunderschöne, artenreiche umgebung!

We were blown away by our spot in the jungle. I worried about sleep in the heat, no hot water and the potential of biting insects but NOT a problem! In the Ocelot cabaña we had a shower to rinse and then the over head fan was plenty to keep us cool. Mosquitoes came out from 5-6 (just like Edu said!) This location had less mosquitos and no biting flies like the more populated places we stayed. Balance in the jungle! I also thought the airport would be an issue but it's not. It was actually fun watching the come and go only 4 times a day. We did a night hike with Edo and LOVED IT. Life is all around the property and beyond! We also took the boat across the lagoon to our own almost "private" beach on the pacific. Swam in the ocean (plan on hot sand!) We paddled up the river and had another world experience. The food was phenomenal, we ate most meals during our three days there. Sabrina and Edo are great cooks and were WONDERFUL accommodating our early morning schedule HIGHLYRECOMMEND

Pension de famille parfaite pour notre famille de 5 personnes. Erickson a été formidablement accueillant, disponible et à l’écoute de nos besoins. Sa maman nous a préparé un délicieux repas un soir, nous avons vraiment passé un moment inoubliable dans un environnement calme, propre et propice à l’observation de la nature. Le village et la plage sont très proches en voiture, ce qui a été pratique. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés cette location et espérons avoir la chance d’y revenir un jour 💫

Es war eine grossartige Zeit in Drake Bay und ich habe mich so wohl gefühlt, dass ich länger geblieben bin, als geplant. Für alle Fragen waren Henar und Pascal da und auch beim Buchen von Booten usw. Superfreundliche, grosszügige und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Zimmer war riesig, sauber und bequem, um die Klimaanlage war ich froh und die Hängematte vor der Tür habe ich genossen. Super fairer Preis.

Drake Bay is a beautiful place but staying with Silita made our trip even better, she and her family were very accommodating and kind to us.

Die Lage ist unglaublich und meiner Meinung nach etwas ganz besonderes. Man schläft direkt im Jungle und kann dabei die gesamte Natur genießen. Neben Kolibris und Tukane laufen Nachts teilweise Tapire direkt an der Unterkunft vorbei was so an anderen Orten nur kaum möglich ist. Trotz der direkten Lage zur Natur und Tieren besitzt die Unterkunft alles wichtige das man für seinen Aufenthalt braucht. Bad und Toiletten sind dabei zu jeder Zeit sauber und funktionieren einwandfrei. Auch wenn es keine Klimaanlage gibt, so lässt es sich entgehen meine ursprüngliche Befürchtung auch super dort schlafen. Auch mir Insekten ist man keine Probleme. Emilio ist dabei ein super Gastgeber, der sich immer gut um einen kümmert und versucht, den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen muss man zwei Flüsse überqueren, welche normalerweise einige wenige Zentimeter tief sind. Bei Regen können sie zwar auch ansteigen, was jedoch auch kein Problem sein sollte.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, je recommande juste d’avoir un 4x4, trop loin de Bahía Drake à pied. L’hôte est adorable, son restaurant est super bon, le logement est propre, il fait bon, nous avons vu pleins de toucans dans le jardin qui est bien plus beau en vrai qu’en photo. Vous avez également accès à des hamacs et une petite cuisine d’extérieure avec frigo.

Rustic spot with fantastic access to wildlife. It's right next to a gorgeous beach, and the drake bay trail. I saw heaps of wildlife on that trail (3 species of monkey, agouti, currasows, caracaras, macaws, aracari, crocodile, blue morphos, etc), and even plenty from the airbnb itself (toucans, coati, monkeys, iguanas, tiger herons). The guy who you will actually be dealing with (Elmer) is so kind and friendly and I felt 100% safe as a solo woman. The walking directions from drop off weren't super clear, so you need a decent sense of direction (it is easy though). The fridge was a minifridge which isn't great if you are planning to cook or bring fruit with you, which you likely will do because there is 1 soda. But I was there 2 weeks so I needed a lot of food,it wouldn't be a problem if you're there a couple days. I speak some Spanish which made life much easier there.
