Holiday rentals in Agios Sostis

Amazing stay! Lucas and Thodoris were so friendly and accommodating. The cottage is spotless, beautiful and so peaceful. You can smell the flowers, while falling asleep. At the same time it is less than 10 minutes away from Chora. Highly recommend. There is also an amazing bakery nearby that makes a mean apple pie and coffee, like 5 minutes by car, or even less. We had a perfect experience staying at Thalia’s beautiful house. Everything is to a high standard and very comfortable. An ideal location right next to a beautiful clear water beach that is ideal for kids as not to deep and occasional little waves. A beach club further up that we resisted but then really enjoyed on a windy day. A mini market and tavernas all in easy walking distance. Thalia was an exceptional host (and spoke perfect English for us), always available to help with resturant suggestions etc. and even gave us home made jams and local biscuits. I particularly appreciate the well appointed kitchen and laundry, thoughtful touches like washing power and butter etc. Book shelves stacked of interesting books, information on the local area. Particularly well set up for families with small children - stair gate, basket of toys, even mini wet suits. This was our first time to Tinos and we felt like we had landed in the best spot!

A lovely little place. We were very comfortable here for a few days while we stayed by the coast. The hosts were very friendly, they live upstairs and brought us extra towels and fruits for breakfast, but left us to our own devices in general. They have a lovely old dog who wandered about outside sometimes. He was extremely gentle, non intrusive and didn’t bark once. The outdoor patio area is beautiful and very relaxing, with views out over the garden and to the sea. Tinos can be windy in August, sometimes you could hear the wind blowing through the pipes at night time. If you’re a light sleeper, perhaps bring ear plugs. There are several very nice restaurants and tavernas within walking distance, and it’s just a few minutes walk from 2 great beaches which are brilliant for swimming. The water there is very calm despite the breeze. If we’re ever in Tinos again, we wouldn’t hesitate to book this place.

We felt very comfortable at the place. The house is very cosy, spacious and well-equipped. Unfortunately, a few things broke during our stay for which no one could do anything, but Stelios was always available and took care directly to make sure everything was repaired or replaced. There is even a water filter so the tap water is drinkable This is a big advantage, as the nearest mini market is about a 15-20 minute walk away. The view and location were a dream! In a few minutes you are by the sea and from the terrace you have a beautiful view of it. The price is very fair and even includes a cleaning. We would come back any time:)

Such a peaceful setting, with great views. Loved the local beach and the restaurants. We stayed nearby half of our days in Tinos! The hosts were lovely people and we felt right at home. The house is fully equipped, even beach stuff and baby toys which we needed! There are multiple verandas, and great views of the Aegean and nearby islands. This side of Tinos felt like the most calm and serene of all we visited. Highly recommended!

Leo was the best host! So friendly, responsive and helpful! He gave us wonderful recommendations for the island including restaurants, massages, private chef, villages, beaches, etc. you can’t ask for a better host! The house was beautiful. The decor was gorgeous and so unique. The outdoor area was very windy while we were there so we didn’t enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked but the bbq area with the swings and table is sheltered from the wind and we enjoyed spending time there as a family. We really loved tinos. The villages are beautiful and the views are so stunning everywhere, including at the house. We loved our time in Tinos!

The pluses: This was a great place to stay. The house was beautiful, in great surroundings and good proximity to Agios Sostis beach and a balcony with a wonderful view. It has air-conditioning and ceiling fans for when you want to turn the air con off, a modern shower and kitchen. It is well furnished and stocked up with pretty much everything you will need for self catering. Quiet location. Very responsive and helpful host, recommended reliable car rental and left water bottle in fridge, which was wonderful as we arrived on a Sunday and shops were closed. The things to be aware of: You will need a car to we get to the property and to get to shops for amenities, or to restaurants. Also worth it for exploring to the island. There are some steps to get to the property, and a steep pathway to reach the beach. Although you can handwash clothes and dry them on the line, a washing machine would just make this property more desirable.

Brilliant stay! The place looks exactly like the photos and it’s even bigger than what you would expect. The location is peaceful with great views. Theodora and her family were wonderful and very helpful.
