Holiday rentals with beach access in Aghios Emilianos

Fabulous apartment, well equipped with many kitchen gadgets, spacious lounge, lovely balcony with sea views. No complaints. The apartment was a considerable distance away from Poros town, more than indicated on the Air B&B map. It is very close to Petros Beach which is our favourite beach with a great taverna behind so we were not too disappointed but it meant a long walk into town and a taxi back. This wasn't a problem for us but could be a deal breaker for others. In the age of computer technology I would think it an easy error to rectify.

La casa di Anna si trova ad Agioi Anargyroi, nella parte ovest dell’isola, più isolata ma per questo più tranquilla e bellissima. Occorre uno scooter o meglio un quad (ATV) per accedere a tutte spiagge senza problemi: non ci sono market o supermercati, quindi la spesa va fatta in centro città, così come la benzina all’unica stazione di servizio che chiude alle 20.00. La casa è semplice ma molto carina e tipica, con un grande giardino e corte esterni. Anna è stata di una cortesia, gentilezza e disponibilità davvero eccezionali. Ci ha fatto aiutato per ogni necessità e bisogno durante il soggiorno, dandoci anche utili consigli. Penso proprio che torneremo qui!

The accommodation is self matched all descriptions and photos. There is a private balcony but also shared spaces (that still felt private in many ways!) Location is a short walk from the main town but ideal to be away for any general noise. I slept comfortably and never felt that my needs were not met. Finally, the host and her daughter were undeniably one of the most catering, supportive and attentive hosts I’ve had. Their recommendations were exactly what I was looking for but Irene was speedy at replies, able to resolve any questions and was always on hand. The place will be in my heart!

Nina’s house is truly charming and a delightful place to stay in Poros. Vangelis and Eleni are very warm and helpful. It’s very central in the old town, close to the beach, restaurants and the boats. I loved my time here and would definitely stay again.

Beste Lage! Süße kleine Unterkunft - genau wie auf den Fotos, alles was man für seinen Aufenthalt braucht. Manolis ist sehr nett und hat auf Fragen schnell geantwortet.

L’appartement à Hydra était très joli et typique de l’endroit,avec ses beaux murs de pierre. La vue de la fenêtre de l’appartement est spectaculaire. Le lit était très confortable et avait de la jolie literie. La cuisine et la salle de bain étaient fonctionnels et très propre. L’hôte réagit rapidement quand on lui envoie un message. J’ai eu un peu de difficulté à trouver l’endroit malgré les photos mais il faut comprendre que Hydra est composé de beaucoup de petites rues et d’escalier qui sont un peu surprenant la première fois. Mais des qu’on a réussi à se rendre,après,on comprend mieux comment les ruelles sont orientées. J’ai même trouvé de chemins alternatifs. En résumé,c’est un endroit exceptionnel que je recommanderai sans hésiter. Je vous remercie,Semeli. Je me souviendrai longtemps de mon séjour à Hydra.

Οι οικοδεσπότες είναι ανθρωποι με ευγένεια, παιδεία και κουλτούρα, και αυτό αντανακλάται και στο σπίτι που παρέχουν. Ολα ήταν πρωσεγμένα και εν καλή λειτουργεία. Το διαμέρισμα βρίσκεται σ'ενα μικρο κολπίσκο πίσω απ'το λιμάνι και καταφέρνει να είναι ήσυχα αλλά και κοντά σ'όλα τα απαραίτητα μαγαζιά. Η θέα απ'το μπαλκόνι είναι ΕΞΑΙΣΙΑ, θα μπορούσαμε να καθόμαστε ώρες για να απολαμβάνουμε το πρασινο & το μπλε (ιδίως τις πρωινες και απογευματινές ωρες). Τέλος τη νύχτα απολαμβάνεις ένα τέλειο ύπνο καθώς δεν υπάρχουν ενοχλήσεις από νυχτερινά μαγαζιά. Ευχαριστούμε θερμά τους εξαιρετικούς γονείς του Βασίλη για τη βοήθεια και τις συμβουλές τους.

Elena's place is perfectly located. Easy walk to tavernas, cafe's restaurants, the harbour, and shops etc. The house itself is very rustic and homely, with basic facilities. It has a wonderful balcony with harbour views. Elena was very responsive and helpful, as was her mum who lived next door. If you want an authentic Greek experience I highly recommend this listing.

Ηταν όλα πολύ όμορφα και καθαρά. Πολυ όμορφη φιλοξενία και άμεση εξυπηρέτηση. Οι host φρόντισαν να έχουμε και ψωμί με μαρμελάδα και μπάρες δημητριακών και φρούτα για πρωινό.

Leah’s place was really great, we had a very comfortable 6 nights on Hydra. The The host gave us clear instructions pre-check in and great recommendations on places to eat and things to do. The island is idyllic and the great location of this accommodation is an added bonus. The host was not on the island during our visit but any queries were dealt with promptly. We also had a lovely neighbor living close by that allowed us join her sunrise yoga class - what a highlight. The only caveat is the stairs to climb to reach the place, it will raise the heart rate slightly. But for us the effort paid off.

Hydra ist eine der schönsten Inseln, die ich je besucht habe und so war auch die Unterkunft - einfach magisch! Nur zu empfehlen!

Super schöne Wohnung. Die Aussicht ist wirklich sehr schön, man verbringt wunderbare Tage dort.

Anna und Dimitris waren perfekte Gastgeber. Zur Begrüßung gab es gleich einige griechische Leckereien (unter anderem eine sehr leckere Orangenmarmelade und eine riesige Schale mit Früchten). Außerdem gab es viele tolle Vorschläge zu Ausflugsziele und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen mit einer großen überdachten Veranda und einer stimmigen Einrichtung. Absolut alles was man so braucht ist vorhanden. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, es gibt einige Badestellen wenige Gehminuten entfernt und auch das Ortszentrum mit Restaurants und diversen Läden ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Außerdem gibt es viel zu entdecken in der Gegend, einen Tagesausflug nach Hydra kann ich z.B. sehr empfehlen. Zwar liegt das Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend, wer absolute Ruhe schätz sollte jedoch bedenke dass das Haus im Ort liegt mit entsprechender gelegentlicher Geräuschkulisse. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und ich kann es absolut empfehlen!

Was soll ich sagen? Der Kontakt zu Ileana war von Anfang an wohlwollend und super herzlich. Ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt mit ihr. Sie hat im Vorfeld schon Reisempfehlungen geschickt und ständig gefragt, ob sie irgendwie behilflich sein kann. Ich habe alles wie beschrieben vorgefunden im Haus. Und es war wirklich alles nach meinem Geschmack. So ähnlich würde ich auch leben. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt dort. Durch die doch stärker als gedacht befahrene Straße war es manchmal ein wenig lauter durch den Verkehr. Das habe ich aber nicht als extrem störend wahrgenommen, aber es ist mir aufgefallen, wahrscheinlich weil ich in der totalen Ruhe lebe. Ileana, ich würde wiederkommen. Danke für dieses bezaubernde Haus und Dich...

We had a fantastic stay! Ilias and Argyro were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Hydra itself is beyond charming! Up on a hill and a little removed from the congestion of the town, the house is quiet and comfortable. It’s an historic home that has been renovated, and the quality of the construction is very impressive - as is all the artwork! Our one challenge was the WiFi was not working in the unit, which was a problem as we are remote workers. Ilias graciously walled off a large section of the house upstairs for our use immediately adjacent to a second network router, but even there network speeds weren’t great - 10 to 15mps (a small fraction of what we are accustomed to). So as much as we enjoyed the home, the town and our hosts, we would be a little reluctant to offer a full throated endorsement for digital nomads. Vacationers should definitely come! Remote employees? Maybe…

Words cannot begin to describe what an amazing time we had. Argyris is an outstanding person and his Airbnb has everything. He was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond with recommendations, helping us with logistics, and making it a special time for our entire family. We came as a family for a wedding and the apartment had everything we could need, including treats on arrival. Our son was extremely happy and the outside area was a major plus for us. We can’t wait to come back and have left a piece of our heart on the island!

This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been lucky enough to stay in. Apartment is so spacious with gorgeous decor and was spotlessly clean. We loved all of the added details. Balcony and the view were stunning, really enjoyed having breakfast and reading there as the area is so peaceful. Only a short walk from Akesli beach and lovely local restaurants. Easy to reach Poros town by taxi, only 15-20 min journey, or can get boat for €2 when it’s operating during season. Viktoria was super friendly and helpful and her mum provided us with such a warm welcome. Would 100% recommend and would stay again if (when) I return to Poros 😊

Our stay at Marthas beautiful apartment was perfect! The apartment was perfectly clean, the communication with Martha was really friendly and she took very good care of us via mobile contact. The apartment is really central but you still feel very private, it has a really cute balcony and the overall vibe is really sweet and cozy. We`d love to come back, thanks Martha! <3

Θα 'θελα κατ 'αρχην, να αναφερθω, στην Κα Ελενη, λεγοντας οτι ειναι ο ορισμος της ευγένειας, της εξυπηρέτησης και της θετικης αυρας και ενεργειας. Μετα, για το διαμερισμα, τι να πρωτοπει καποιος....!!!! Μια κουζινα, ανετη απο θεμα χωρου, πληρης απο οτι χρειαζεται ενα νοικοκυριο. Εδω υπαρχει και ενας καναπες, ο οποιος γινεται.....διπλό κρεβατι αν χρειαζεται. Τουαλετα πεντακαθαρη, οπως και ο ξεχωριστος χωρος με την μπανιερα και το πλυντηριο ρουχων. Η κρεβατοκαμαρα ανετη και με μιά τεραστια ντουλαπα.Τελευταιο αφησα, σκοπιμως, το απεραντο μπαλκονι, το οποιο σε σχημα Π , γυρω απο το διαμερισμα, εκπληρωνει, τις επιθυμιες και του πιο απαιτητικου επισκεπτη.....!!! Μεγαλο τραπεζι, που καθεσαι και αφηνεις, την ματιά σου, "να ταξιδεψει", με το νερο, της θαλασσας, "που ξετυλιγεται" μπροστα σου. Απολαυση ο πρωινος καφες, "αγκαλια", με την ανατολη, του ήλιου. Το αποβραδο, ενα ποτο, στο ιδιο σημειο, οτι καλυτερο, για να τελειωσει, η ημερα σου. Τα μαγαζια, ολα κυριολεκτικα, διπλα σου. Θα ξαναερθω!!!

Stéphanie was great. She contacted me before hand and gave me the gps location and instructions, then waited for me when I was running late and met me to take me to the suite. She was very clear with instructions and helpful with recommendations and was always responsive when I had any questions. It was a very comfortable spot and really enjoyable relaxing stay.

Great experience. Anna and her friend, Maria, were both very helpful. The place is as beautiful as the pictures make you think, and if you love kittens, be prepared to find them waiting for you at the entrance. We rented bikes to get around the island, and we totally suggest the experience to really enjoy your surroundings! l

Very cute apartment, well located, everything you need inside for a few days in Porto Heli. Luan was super responsive and friendly and this made our stay even better.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν στο σύνολο αρκετά καλή και το διαμέρισμα ήταν όπως μας το περιέγραψαν. Είναι πλήρως ανακαινισμένο και ειδικά το μπάνιο είναι πάρα πολύ καλό. Η κουζίνα ήταν πάρα πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένη με σκεύη και με πρώτες ύλες για μαγείρεμα όπως λάδι, αλλά πιπέρι κτλ. Ωστόσο ο χώρος δεν έχει καθόλου καλή μόνωση με αποτέλεσμα να είναι δύσκολο να κοιμηθούμε το βράδυ δεδομένου πως ο γείτονας έμενε έως τις 02:00 το πρωί στη βεράντα του και ακουγόταν μέσα στο δωμάτιο οι ομιλίες. Επίσης η πόρτα έχει ένα παράθυρο το οποίο δεν μπορεί να καλυφθεί με αποτέλεσμα να μπαίνει φως στο δωμάτιο και να είναι εξαιρετικά δύσκολο να μπορεί κάποιος να κοιμηθεί στον καναπέ. Ο καναπές δεν είναι καθόλου βολικός για ύπνο καθώς νιώθεις τα σίδερα από κάτω. Οι γείτονες κάπνιζαν από το πρωί στο με αποτέλεσμα να μην μπορείς να ανοίξεις παράθυρο καθώς έμπαινε ο καπνός μέσα. Επίσης το internet έχει σοβαρό θέμα καθώς οι ταχύτητες είναι από ελάχιστες έως ανύπαρκτες.
