Modern day "Thiopafto" derived from ancient "Ich-Thiopafto" which means "Peices or Dolphin Sanctuary". Located beside the quaint fishing port of Sabatiki , a 5-10 minute swim North, the both pebbly & sandy shore is a 2-3 minute walk(200m) by path. Thiopafto is visited every summer by the endangered sea turtle Caretta Caretta which lay its eggs on this tranquil shore.

We offer sun beds and beach towels on our premises. It is 15 min. walk from the port and the old part of the Island.
