I booked Yvonne’s place as a short getaway from Accra with my children, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and peaceful, with the soothing sound of the ocean audible from inside the house. We spent lots of time outdoors just relaxing, playing, and breathing in the fresh coastal air. We did have a bit of trouble finding the place at first—Google Maps led us slightly off course. Just a tip: once you’re on the road leading to Ocean’s Resort, continue all the way to the very end without turning off early. We mistakenly turned left too soon, but once I reached out to Miss Yvonne, she was incredibly responsive and helpful, which we really appreciated. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, I would absolutely recommend this spot.

Dokua was extremely responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I couldn’t have asked for a better host or accommodation. Highly recommend staying here, and I would love to return in the future!

Isaac, who assisted us during our stay, was fantastic, and Eric, the host, was very accommodating. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re back in Accra.

Richard is a really great host. I was especially impressed by his attention to detail - from dental floss in the bathrooms to coffee and sugar in the kitchen cabinets. Richard always made it a point to check in and make sure I was fine during my stay without coming off as overbearing. And he is incredibly polite too! Same for the caretaker who helped me check in. Richard’s space is the true definition of home away from home, which is exactly what I needed. It is worth every cedi and is a refreshing reminder that you don’t need to break the bank when you want a little time to unwind. I shall definitely be returning to this place.
