Cheikh was extremely nice and truly acted like a host. He personally guided us around, helped us organize any service you could imagine, offered useful safety advice, and shared incredible stories in the evenings over excellent home-cooked meals. He was always generous and friendly and was very responsive. We had an amazing time thanks to him.

It's like being at home. Can experience living in the middle of traditional Atar community housing. It's quiet and calm, like an ear detox from the noise of the big city. Beautiful view, especially at night, because of the least light pollution, so it can look at thestars in the sky. The host sangst was nice, even picked up to the place to get off the bus in central Atar. The host also has an interesting tourist program, which is to visit the oasis in Terjit and experience an overnight stay in a tent set in the middle of the desert. It's very okay for those of you who want to visit Atar and the surrounding areas.

I'm so glad we chose Sheikh and stayed at his place. He kept in touch with us prior to check-in and was willing to help with booking any transport to get to his home from Nouakshot. He organized a great sugar trek for us with an oasis visit and an overnight stay in a tent for very reasonable money. He cooked us breakfast and dinner and generally helped with all issues. On the property. There was a table in the room, a place to sleep with a mosquito net (very useful!), toilet, shower, hot and cold water. all basic needs for a traveler in Africa are met. If I am going to visit the Sahara again, I will definitely stay at Sheikh's again.

Only cash, no payment via Airbnb. Hotel was in good condition, location in downtown. Owner was very helpful. Sight seeing tour was for free including help with atm machine. I would come back.
