Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Addington Highlands

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Excellent location! Could walk everywhere! The Airbnb was beautiful! Attention to detail was amazing! Beautifully decorated. Kitchen had everything you needed! Garden was so peaceful and well maintained.

No notes!! My husband and I had an incredible stay here. Aleks and Amy were truly amazing hosts who went above and beyond for us. The space is lovely and we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We will definitely be back!

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

Nicole and Heather were great hosts who frequently checked in with us before, during and after our stay to make sure we had a great time. The place was as described and as shown in photos. We loved our time there and would stay again if we find ourselves in Port Hope!

Wow, what a beautiful home! Hosts were great communicators and were very thoughtful. The space was large, well appointed and very clean. We wished we could have stayed longer to use the beautiful outdoor space. Hope to return one day!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Robin’s house was located very close to all the arena’s in Peterbourgh. We were there to watch our grandson play lacrosse. Hopefully they will return next year to this tournament. I will definetly be rebooking Robin’s loft. It was just as advertised. I also appreciated the selection of coffees. Beautiful and comfortable home, nicely decorated. Felt like home away from home. The place is very cozy with a great view at the river, very relaxing. I have to say it has exceeded my expectations. Judi and Dave are very responsive. I would book again in a heartbeat.

Mary Anne and Garry were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are truly wonderful people in general- friendly, warm and welcoming. Their AirBnB exceeded expectations! It was pristinely clean and also had little details and amenities that added to the comfort of our stay (like Kleenex boxes in every room, ice was ready-made in the freezer, coffee and tea, etc). It really did have the comforts of home, which is rare these days! The Breakfasts they made were lovely and delicious. Mary Anne and Garry put so much thought into everything and that made a big difference to our stay. We look forward to returning to stay again! Thank you for making us feel at home.

Christine communicated well and provided a list of all requirements. The lake and dock is absolutely perfect. A few steps down to the water but the shallow waterfront makes up for it. Awesome spots for kids to be swimming without worry. Lots of space.

We had a wonderful time at Caroline's AirBnB! The grounds were beautiful and the home was stunning. Caroline was very responsive and easy to communicate with (the staff gave us a tour of the property, set up a fire and gave us town recommendations). I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return!

We really loved our visit and wished we were able to stay longer. The space is just as you see it in the listing. It was spotless and very comfortable. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking. Dave was wonderful, answering all our questions, recommending restaurants and helping when we couldn't figure out the tv. We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!

David and Mimi’s place was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay. Great for families and kids. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the private lake. They were very communicative and responsive, generous and thoughtful. We definitely recommend this place!

Great Host and Beautiful apartment

We were so grateful to have an affordable place for our large family to gather comfortably in the winter. The large private property was a real asset as we had lots of kids in our group who like to play outside and this let the adults have some peaceful moments together. The kitchen’s had everything we needed. The houses were clean and uncluttered, yet cozy. All the furniture was useful and practical. Robin was responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning one day.
