Cabin holiday rentals in Adair County

Our stay at the Cabins was exactly what we were looking for. The Host was very helpful and quick to respond. We have never stayed at a place that had so many amenities and felt completely at home!

Our stay was perfect. The beds were clean. The water was hot. No worries there are only concern was that it is pet friendly and there is a shelf full of glass. China by the front door made me paranoid from the wagging tales that’s on me though.

The cabin was just as described. It was decorated nicely and had a stocked kitchen garage with ping pong air hockey and a wonderful hot tub! Peaceful and private we enjoyed the rain while relaxing inside. We ate at a newer restaurant called the Rex family restaurant highly recommended!

This is a wonderful place to get away and relax. Very Quiet location close to the State Park and Golf. We will be back again

Amazing cabin with amazing views. Everything was clean and spotless. Our host, Sarah, was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a little glitch with the entry code, but it was quickly resolved. It is a long winding road to the cabin, about 15 miles. Take your time and enjoy the view. I would suggest taking hwy 196 out of Nancy, your GPS might suggest a slightly different route, but 196 worked best for us. Be prepared for an amazing view as you reach Cave Springs Rd. WOW! Also, be sure to pick up your groceries before heading to the cabin. There is a small grocery store in Nancy, otherwise larger stores are available in Somerset, about 45 minutes from the cabin. If you want to do any walking, we would not suggest using the road by the cabin, it's a bit narrow with lots of twists and turns and no shoulders and could be a little dangerous. Save your walks for the numerous parks in and around the area. Overall we had a Great Time! Thank You Sarah! - Tom & Jan

This place was absolutely incredible! Once we got there, we had everything we needed! We grilled out, roasted marshmallows and made s’mores. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need. They not only thought of everything, they went above and beyond that! They thought of things I’ve never seen in an air bnb! The walk to fish is very short and easy to access. The environment is so peaceful. We loved relaxing in the hot tub. The couch bed gave access for 2 more people to sleep. The front porch is so relaxing. The drive way is spacious and has plenty of room for a couple cars and a boat. The little store down the road has the best ice cream and dessert! The hosts respond in minutes when you have a question. We will go back again.

It was everything that we wanted and more. It felt Extremely private. The creek is beautiful. The hot tub was amazing. The theater system is phenomenal in the living room. Great stay overall! Definitely would recommend for a couple just trying to get away from everyday life. One thing I will say is if you want to use the stereo system that goes to the wrap around porch then bring a dongle and aux cord bc there is no Bluetooth. And bring your own DVDs or download movies prior to arrival because you will not get any signal. I liked not having signal tho because it helped me and my wife focus more on each other❤️

Third time staying with Tammy but 1st time in Turkeys roost. Really neat cabin with a middle of the woods feel. I always bring my boat down but even though you can't get a boat to this cabin, Tammy is great at having a place for you to keep it and charge the batteries if need be. I'll be back to see her and her cabins as often as I can.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Very neatly landscaped property that was serene. The cabin itself was exactly as described, clean, and great spot to stay in when visiting. We were in town for an event at the Exposition Center and the cabin was around 7 minutes away. Our family would highly recommend.

Lovely house. My whole family enjoyed every part of vacation thanks to Adam. He was very responsive when we had questions. The house is beautiful and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back! No complaints about anything.

This cabin is in a quiet and peaceful setting. There is plenty of space for walking and exercising the dog. The pavilion down the hill looks like it’s for the 3-4 homes on the street and has a television, grills, chairs, and a fridge. The porch overlooking the river is nice and always cool. There was a cute bird who had built a nest there. The kitchen is well-stocked with plates, bowls, and pots and pans. The host was always very responsive and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit here.

Another great stay for our great nieces 8th Birthday! Everything was super clean, well stocked and had everything we needed plus more. Elsie is an awesome host that is super prompt in getting back to you. The stay is always pleasant and we feel at home! I can't wait for our next stay at Elsies place!

This is a cottage that backs up to a ridge full of trees and on a pristine creek that beckons you to get your feet wet. Richard, the host, matches the lovely energy of this space and is responsive to questions. The cottage is on the same property with the host but it feels completely private. The bed is so comfortable and the huge walk-in shower is big enough for two. I only wish he had more rental spaces on the property so that I could share this space with some of my favorite people! Already planning a trip back!

Stephanie is an amazing host! She really thinks of all the little things that make a stay comfortable. She stays in communication and keeps herself available for any questions. Woodland Acres is absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait for our return trip!We spent our 5 year anniversary here. Soon as we entered the home there was a Happy Anniversary note & a bottle of wine. Stephanie is so thoughtful. The house was really comfortable, not to mention beautiful beyond belief. Even the decor was top tier. We spent most of our time just relaxing on the wrap around porch, breathing in the views & watching nature, which is in abundance here. If someone is reading this wondering if the should book for a getaway...DO IT. You won't regret it!!

Such a cute place! It was exactly how it was described. We needed a place to stay while seeing a family member who had surgery and this little cottage was just what we needed. Family of 5 (including 3 teens). A perfect place where we could unplug and destress after visiting. Bonus….they had coffee and good coffee creamer fully stocked!

Can’t recommend this place enough. My husband and I booked the little cabin in the Woods for two nights. We were in town for some local tractor pulls. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was so peaceful after all the noise and mud haha…I was able to disconnect from my phone. I ended up reading a book during my stay which I haven’t done in a while. Would definitely stay here if/when we return to the area.

Beautiful cabin to spend a peaceful time with friends and family. Host was friendly and responsive. The home was welcoming and cozy. Loved the natural surroundings and our time here.

This place was great and perfect for a family getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful scenery. Lots of comfortable sleeping space, as well! Would definitely recommend this spot to others traveling in the area.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every one! This cabin is such a cozy and comfortable spot to spend a vacation. Everything was very clean and organized. Blaire was extremely helpful and responsive

They were kind, responsive, thorough with instructions and responded to issues and needs. The sofa bed was hard, but even with 8 guests and one bathroom, we were able to still have a cozy, good experience. Thankful for the outside play area for our children, and we were close to our events and available stores. Overall, it was a good cabin experience.

Cabin 7 was PERFECT. Clean, cozy, and impeccably decorated. The location was perfect for a quiet intimate evening and for spending time on the porch with morning coffee and enjoying the birds chirping away. Conveniently short 10-minute drive into town for dining out and quick access to highways to explore parks in the area or even the Bourbon Trail. If we ever vacation in the area again, we will definitely look into booking another stay.

We stayed for one night after leaving Nashville on our way to Kentucky. The place was great for our family of 5, including 2 teen boys. We had everything we needed for the day. Beds were comfy and shower was good. Place was close to main road but you could barely hear the noise. 5 min drive to a market, gas or food. Sunsets were beautiful there! Great and accommodating hosts too!

Pam was super flexible and overall a great host! She answered all our questions quickly and the house was just as described and clean. We had a great time with the firepit and screenmirroring movies!
