Fantastic bungalow! Cozy, clean, quiet in nature. Borja and Yunyun are great hosts! You can snorkel right outside the front door at a beautiful coral reef. And the restaurant serves delicious food! I can recommend everyone to come here.

Robi was super helpful and responsive. He helped us get there and back to the ferry hassle free. Thank you Robi. Had a lovely time at santi garden and enjoyed the hammock overlooking the sea!

We were very much appreciated and had a very great time overall! The bungalows are simple and clean, you have a very suitable terrace with a hammock and a beautiful view where you could relax very nicely and listen to nature. Right next to it is the Olala Cafe where you can eat delicious and inexpensive. It was also very nice in such a place to chat with a German host and a host, Martin and Santi, where you could get tips and at the same time learn about the place. We would definitely recommend the dolphin tour! It was a place to relax and experience at the same time! And so far the highlight of our backpacking trip! Thank you for the wonderful time and see you next time!

A perfect hideout — peaceful, beautifully located, and simple yet well maintained. The local hospitality is exceptional, and there are great nearby spots for a refreshing drink or bite.

Diana's bungalow was the perfect choice to spend our week in the Banyak archipelago. My girlfriend and I shared the bungalow with a former Swiss couple in Tuk-Tuk, each couple had their own bedroom with a living room and a super spacious veranda overlooking the Ocean directly. I recommend it to everyone, for those who want to spend unforgettable days on the island of Sikandang.

Very nice welcome by Rius, the local manager, the setting is incredible... an almost deserted island in a beautiful archipelago, many snorkeling opportunities with unspoiled funds. The bungalows are simple but perfect in the setting, and the on-site team takes care of everything. A few unforgettable days...

Nanik is just the most amazing host and friend! She looked after us - ( a group of 4 surfers) like we were her family. Nanik and the team at her place made our stay in Simeulue just incredible. The location is perfect - close to Dylan’s and easy to get to other waves and into town. The rooms are simple and all you need for a relaxing surf adventure or tropical paradise holiday. Nanik and the staff took us out with them for an amazing boat trip to a little island where we snorkeled, explored paradise and ate fresh fish on the beach. They were also able to get us in touch with anyone we needed throughout the island and made sure we felt supported. Such a great holiday and from now on whenever we come back to Simeulue it will be with Nanik !

We loved our stay at Pondok Oma! Wiwi was so so helpful in arranging transport to and from Simeulue, and she gave us great recs of nearby places to surf and explore on the island (as well as motorbike rentals). The room was simple but nice, with AC and a great porch. The food was delicious and affordable. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

I had an amazing stay at "The Peak" in Simeulue. The location is honestly unbeatable! The bungalows are nestled between palm trees and right in front of the most consistent wave on the island, a super fun A-frame peak. The vibe is super relaxed and you can watch the local water buffalos wander past while you’re sipping your morning coffee, watching the waves roll in. It's only about 30 minutes from the airport, which makes getting there easy. The room was clean, comfy, spacious, and had a desk, which is a big plus if you’re working while traveling. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the warm climate and not every place one the island has it! Ross was incredibly helpful and welcoming, always around if you need anything. He is very knowledgeable about the island and local customs! The delicious home-cooked meals that his wife provided, made the stay feel even more cozy and special. It’s a great place to surf, chill & definitely great value for what you get! I will be back!
