Bikes-Kayaks-Outdoor Shower Grill-Firepit-Beach Eq

LorraineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place had a great location; it was less than 10 minutes for the local restaurants and only a 15 drive to the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed, there was plenty of space for atleast 6 people (even though there was just the two of us). The airbnb itself was really charming. Host was amazing, really responsive and communicative. Their checkin and checkout procedures were really clear. My only “asterisk” is that since it is an older house and in the middle of a marshland basically, it was pretty humid inside. It seems normal for the area especially considering it was raining half of our stay. The AC boxes in every room definitely helped but just something to note about our stay. I’d recommend a dehumidifier to the hosts. Overall a great stay, would recommend this place to all when staying in Chincoteague!!

Teal Away-shared pier, amazing views, 2 kayaks

JeffRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The home is a great value. Sherry was quick to respond with recommendations. Home was clean and (mostly) comfortable, but nothing fancy. It has all the basic amenities needed. It’s a close walk to a handful of shops, restaurants (Pico Taqueria was really good) and mini golf. It’s only a 3-5 minute drive to the LOVE chairs/waterfront and to the wildlife refuge. For the price, this was a great choice and we enjoyed our stay.

Chincoteague Island House "Sir Whelk-A-Lot"

CareyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Kaylea's house is perfectly situated to walk to Main St. shops and restaurants, as well as Amarin:) The house was cozy, and had anything we happened to need. We found the beds to be comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets to go around. The street is quiet. We enjoyed the beach chairs, but will have to stay longer next time, to utilize everything. Communication was friendly, informative and on point. Any question that came up was answered on the Fridge Memo. Highly recommend Kaylea's house!

Peaceful Waterfront Escape on Church Creek

RobRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful waterfront house on Church Creek. Communication with the hosts was great. The house was clean and very well equipped and organized. We appreciated having access to kayaks and life jackets. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to points of interest on the Eastern Shore of Virginia we would highly recommend this rental.

Peaceful 5 bedroom cottage on the Eastern Shore...

HannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Took my adult siblings and parents to Taryn’s property & everyone has already asked “can we go back next year?” The seclusion, water views, and acreage to explore was incredible. We were excited to take our dogs who loved running through the marsh out to the beach. Yes, there’s a lot of flies and ticks due to the marshy area, but we brought plenty of bug spray and checked the dogs each evening for ticks. Definitely recommend catching a sunset on the beach. No frills, no fuss..lots of fun & no-phone-service family bonding time.

Second time staying at one of the cottages and can’t wait to come back! The area is so peaceful and serene - great DC getaway. If you enjoy hearing just the bay waves crashing and birds, beautiful sunsets, and panoramic views even from inside look no further.

Levering Creek Cottage with Private Dock

ErikRating, 5 starstoday
Janet has a unique property considering the destination is on an island... it has it's own dock which affords guests the ultimate in flexibility. It was the main reason we elected to overnight there. My son and I only had one night for the fishing trip in our own boat over father's day weekend so it was not a deal-breaker we had to book 2 nights. The simplicity of motoring up after a day on the water with all of our gear and the convenience for being up early to catch the right tide was a perfect fit. Wish we had 2 nights to stay and have better luck with the weather... and the fish, but we will be back. Thanks Janet!

Cottage by the bay (private peaceful surroundings)

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was a pleasure finding this peaceful home. It is nestled in a rural area of Maryland. If you need to get away from life for a reset, this is the perfect place. The host was extremely responsive and flexible. The home is nicely accommodating and the local area has a nice park and dock to enjoy the water. I would highly recommend staying. James P

IDLEHOUR, 3 BEDROOMS 2 BATHS W/ DOCK

CheriRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at the house, which was both clean and amazing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our experience hassle-free. We spent enjoyable moments crabbing on the pier, and we found that everyone we encountered on the island was friendly and laid-back.
