We had a wonderful family stay at Luisella and Andrea's. They were very friendly and helpful, letting us check in early after a very early flight. The house is very spacious and well equipped, with plenty of utensils etc. The pool area was beautiful, and the garden huge. The location was fabulous, an easy drive to Lucca, Pisa and many more. Overall we had a fantastic time, but it is important to be mindful of extra charges when booking. There were charges for linens, towels, travel cot and electricity use. While we were prewarned about these, they do add onto the original cost.

We were now guests at Barbara's for the second time - this time in the other half of the house and with a child. The view is simply wonderful and for children there is really everything you need. We will be happy to come back and can only recommend it!

Impeccable, we have had an amazing family holiday with our young son and couldn’t ask for more. Brilliant location, not far from Pisa which was helpful for flying and we could access many areas of interest in the region. More importantly when we spent time at the villa it was just perfect, there is so much space in the garden and great facilities for our family. We really enjoyed getting out on the bikes. Fantastic hosts, very welcoming and the recommendations on where to visit were appreciated. We were sad to leave and would love to return.

Vittorio was very friendly and responsive. The property was as described and in a peaceful and private setting but with Lucca easily accessible. The accommodation is spacious and extremely clean and would be good for a large family gathering.

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!). Perfect stay - thanks you!

We felt completely comfortable at Pina's. She is a super warm host. The house is ideally suited for many people. Our highlight was cooking pasta together with Pina and using the pizza oven. The outdoor area is beautiful and much more spacious than can be seen in the photos.

Villa Frau was a dream to stay in, so close to Lucca and we found the day trips to Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Cinque Terre a breeze to drive. Katia was so helpful and friendly and a joy to communicate with. We hope to be back soon!

A massive thank you to fabrizio and his family for the most amazing time in his beautiful home . The house and location is stunning and it went way beyond our expectations and hopes for our first Tuscan adventure . So welcoming from the first moment , full of advice and recommendations . Nothing is too much trouble for Fabrizio as all he wants is his guests to have the best time possible . I could say so many great things about this house , the pictures on the listing sell it but you can’t fully appreciate the beauty and feeling of this house and the location until you arrive . This house is fabrizio ‘s dream , designing it and taking many years to complete . He is so proud ,and this really shows when you arrive and meet Fabrizio and his daughter for the first time . We will definitely be back to stay again , so tempted to book 3 weeks next time though !! Thank you so much Fabrizio !! Oh! I must also say that the wine from your vineyards is just the best 😎 Till next time 😉

Nice and nice house high on the mountain. Private and large. Quick communication if needed. We got a guided tour up the way to the house, it was steeper than expected. Although it was fine, that's something to consider. A nice surprise was that each room more or less had its own bathroom. Larger than what the pictures show and more rooms than in the pictures. Very cozy and warm when the sun is out. A previous review mentioned mold/smell in one of the rooms that made us nervous, but we didn't have any problems. It can get trapped in the lower rooms, but we opened windows during the day and everything was perfect. We were very happy and had a great stay!

We had a lovely week. Unfortunately, the pool was much too cold around that time. In high summer, it will certainly give good cooling. The garden is a paradise for dogs. We were 11 adults. The 5 rooms were too few for this. The kitchen equipment was sufficient for 12 people. We were able to cook and barbecue extensively. Unfortunately, the coffee maker was not enough for everyone. Only the conventional method helped. The separate wine cabinet was used extensively by us. All in all a good place for Max. 10 adults and two young kids at a warm season.

The villa is gorgeous scenic experience with views of the Tuscan hills. We came in Winter so we couldn’t use the lovely pool but enjoyed a wine tasting just up the street at Tenuta Maria Teresa. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and we loved congregating in the living room to play games. We cooked meals in the kitchen and had what we needed. It was very private and tranquil location 12 minutes from Lucca. The hosts were friendly, communicative, and worked with us easily on check in and out times even letting us arrive early. It is typical in Italy to pay for heat consumption, came out to 226 euro for three days even when turning it low when gone for the day so just something to keep in mind as it is a large villa. Overall, a lovely experience and highly recommend the location. We’d come back.

Francesco was a wonderful host! Very thoughtful and responsive. He left us with some generous groceries to get started and that really helped us out since there are no stores close by. His villa has a lot of charm, though I felt like the photos were a little better than the actual place. There were more stairs involved that we realized (3 of the 4 bedrooms were on the third floor). Montecatini Alto is a special place but difficult to get to, and taxis hard to get. A car would be better but parking and driving there would be a challenge. We were a group of 8 and all of us enjoyed our experience there and made some special memories.

We are very grateful that Tatiana shares her private place with us. The house has a special atmosphare, beautiful views around and beautiful nterior design with lot of memories. Everything is perfectly organised by Debora, to make our holidays wonderful. We loved the garden, the terrace, the spirit of the house and the nature around very much. Hope to come again!

Had a wonderful vacation in Lucca. Lovely villa and swimming pool. Surroundings where you only hear the birds chirping. The road to the villa was a challenge every day with our van. We greatly enjoyed it and our batteries are recharged. Recommend!

Silvia is a very welcoming and pro-active host. She does not hesitate to recommend nearby activities and restaurants. Her place is very nice and the setting is very beautiful! I recommend it!

Marco and his family are impeccable hosts who made us feel at home. Available and always responsive. House in a great location and convenient both for going to the sea and for spending a quiet day by the pool. I'd go back!

David was a great host. He responded to our messages immediately. He recommended and booked for us a great local wine tasting. He also drove part of the group back to the airport upon leaving. The villa itself was in a very peaceful quiet area. You definitely require a car to get around. There are driveable grocery stores, cafes and train stations not too far. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. The pool was heated at a small extra cost which we found agreeable. The house comfortably slept all 13 of us. There were plenty of towels, linen etc. There is a washing machine, which was also great. We found the fridge was sightly low in power, some of the kitchen gadgets did not work i.e. blender, and we lacked some things like toilet paper and dishwashing liquid - however these were minor issues. Overall we had a great stay, and would like to thank David for all the help along the way!

The accommodation was very well equipped (kitchen, bathroom, towels, detergent - everything) clean and perfect from the location to come down. The communication was excellent and the check-in very friendly. We also received friendly and quick answers to our questions. The WLAN reception was good but less suitable for 4 or more people who want to work at the same time. We would come back. Thank you for the hospitality 🙏

The “Old Mill Place” was truly extraordinary. Our family loved it. We were a group of 12 family members and the facility had sufficient room, seperation, togetherness and wonderful history. My grandchildren loved playing in the creek and swimming in the pool. The location is out of the way but once you learned the route it was easy and only 5 minutes from town. We traveled to Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio, and Montecarlo easily. We went to town (Buggiano and Montecatini) daily and walked to Colle di Buggiano regularly (but the 10 minute hike is uphill) We absolutely would come back. Our only problem was with a local internet outage.

Thank you for a great holiday in La Casa Vigna in a beautiful place doesn't exist. We have really new the place the whole family and will definitely come back to the Tuscan. Thanks to Anne and Frank for letting us rent your lovely summerhouse. Sincerely, Peter Helvig

Great location. Villa was beautiful & well equipped. Elizabeth & Manuela were very helpful & knowledgeable regarding the area. The road down to the Villa was a bit challenging. Would highly recommend this place. We had a great holiday

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Emanuela. It was out of the hustle and bustle which was nice and quiet for our family of 6. The villa was very spacious and had everything you could possibly need. You will definitely need your own car to reach this beautiful spot. We spent a day in Florence, a day exploring the wineries on Chianti, and a day at Cinque Terre and Pisa so this location was perfectly situated. Federica was especially so lovely and helpful with organising a train to Florence, places to eat and locating the grocery store. Highly suggest staying at Villa Emanuela.

It was absolutely wonderful at Casa Giusti. Really everything you needed was there. Such a great, quiet location in the middle of nature. Everything worked, great communication, we enjoyed the 10 days there as a family with two children. Thank you!
