White Rose Annexe

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay at White Rose Annexe. We found the accommodation without issue following Ian’s clear instructions. Ian came out to meet us on arrival and was friendly and welcoming. The items of food and drink he kindly left in the accommodation for us on arrival were much appreciated, especially the freshly laid eggs and bottle of wine. White Road Annexe was all that we’d hoped for and more. Set in a rural area, the views from the Annexe across to the mountains were spectacular. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and fresh looking, but also cosy and comfortable too. With garden furniture provided for sitting at both the front and rear of the accommodation, it gave us the option to sit outside and enjoy the tranquility of the place whenever the weather permitted. White Rose Annexe was one of the best places we’ve stayed in and felt like a home from home to go back to after days out exploring the area and all that it offered. We would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Dry Dock Cottage

SiobhanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The photos do not do the Drydock Cottage justice - it is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos and also a lot more spacious. The attention to detail and every element of the design that has gone into the conversion of this building is second to none. The location is also absolutely perfect - so peaceful, tucked away in gorgeous grounds with a view straight out onto the canal and across over the valley to the mountains beyond. I could have sat and watched the world go by, including the families of ducks, all day. The home made goodies were very welcoming and I loved every minute of my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for people looking to escape to somewhere unique and peaceful.

What a wonderful place! Close to some fabulous walks and Peter's recommended an Italian which is the best I have tasted in a long time. Lovely garden to look out to in the morning and listen to the birds. Just a peaceful and restful place. Thank you

Hare Cottage Abergavenny Town Centre Beautiful Acc

GraceRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Hare Cottage is the perfect location for exploring Abergavenny and the surrounding areas. It’s a short drive to nearby villages and towns worth a visit (Brecon, Crickhowell, Talybont on Usk). Our 3 year old loved finding all the hares around the house. It was perfectly equipped, in a safe and quiet area with parking and an enclosed garden for our dog. We managed a parkrun in Merthyr, a walk up Sugarloaf Mountain, several trips to the local pubs and restaurants which are only a few minutes walk away and dog walks in Castle Meadows. Jack gave us local recommendations which were excellent and we found a few to add to the list: Pizza at the Towpath Inn (Gilwern) Beers and pies at the Brecon Tap (Brecon) O’Connell Bakery (Abergavenny)

Cosy two bedroom town house

SophieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed here on a walking weekend to do 3 of the peaks surrounding Abergavenny; Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Blorenge. Others in our group stayed at the premier inn and we definitely had the better deal. Easy walking distance from all the shops, cafes and restaurants and a very comfortable set up.
