Cottage holiday rentals in Aberdare

If you're considering booking this property, then do it! We have had the best week staying here and I cannot rate it highly enough. The host was great at communicating before the trip and whilst we were there. Whenever we had a question, nothing was too much trouble. She contacted us to let us know we could check in a little bit earlier as the property was ready, and this was much appreciated. One of the biggest things we look for in an airbnb is cleanliness, and I have to say, the property was spotless. The kitchen had all the amenities you could want, and the house had lovely little touches for our toddler; toys, highchair, stair gate and bed guard. Whilst the weather wasn't great, there was a lovely sized garden, and our toddler was able to visit the horses behind the garden and feed them carrots. Everything was a very short drive away, and location was great. We enjoyed a dinner in the pub garden of the Ancient Briton. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

A wonderful warm welcome awaits in this picturesque corner of wales. Beautiful rolling countryside and utter peaceful surroundings. A lovely break away from it all where nothing is too much trouble for the host to ensure you have a great stay!

We had a lovely stay at the Laundry Barn, the views were amazing, the place was very cosy and the hot tub was a lovely addition. Would definitely recommend staying here, and we will be back!

What a truly beautiful venue if you want a quiet & private setting with amazing views & a trip to wonderful day trip to Ludlow with lazy cafes & a wonderful river walk… beds were comfy, everything you needed & a private hot tub was the perfect end to a days walking!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Good Life. The space was well maintained and felt like a home. We made the most of the hot tub and kitchen facilities during our stay. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet trip away with a partner or close friend.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay! The cottage was spotless and cosy. Check-in was smooth, and the hosts are very responsive and friendly. It was great to find some amenities such as tea/coffee/cooking oil already in the kitchen. There isn’t too much to do around the cottage besides country walks, but that suited our desire to relax and sunbathe! Would stay here again and recommend to friends :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and tidy and Clare went above and beyond with complimentary cake and fizz on arrival. Clare was very responsive when we had questions about the area. The house felt like a home, and it was great to be able to make the most of the spa pool after a day out. We would definitely book again.

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

My friend and I had a lovely, tranquil stay with our border terrier. The garden is enclosed and wonderful. The view is stunning and the house is cosy and welcomingly rustic. Great walks in the surrounding hills and by the river Towy. Llandovery is the only close by small town with all that you could need. I look forward to coming out there again.

Beautiful location, lovely spacious cottage and great walking. So nice to see chickens and geese and horses. Very comfortable for our family of six and very well stocked kitchen, complete with fresh eggs. Definitely recommend, I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you!

We had a truly relaxing stay at Ducks Cottage. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a peaceful break. One of the highlights was sitting in the lovely garden by the canal, watching and feeding the ducks— a perfect spot to unwind. Everything about the cottage made us feel right at home. Highly recommended.

A wonderful collage for anyone seeking peace and quiet in the countryside. The location is perfect for exploring the Brecon Beacons, with numerous scenic walks and hiking trails within a 15-minute drive. The surroundings are serene, with beautiful rural views and a sense of calm. Helen and Stacie were welcoming and thoughtful hosts. Thank you both for a fantastic stay!

Beautifully decorated cottage which was spotlessly clean. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Very spacious cottage with all equipment we needed for cooking. Matthew was very responsive when we wanted to light the fire one evening. We absolutely loved the location, with walking, cycling and activities close by (canyoning and zip wires) The New Inn is metres away and was very welcoming with super tasty food We’ll be back! What a gorgeous place if all you need is peace and quiet and the sound of the birds this is for you. Even better is it’s only 25 minutes from Abergavenny and it’s Waitrose 😉. Wilma was lovely and updated us with everything and replied with answers to our queries . We are only annoyed that we took so long to find this little gem!

Lovely clean spacious with great choice of bed linen. Soak and sleep white cotton. Comfortable beds. Great shower downstairs. I didn’t use the upstairs one to say. Well stocked kitchen Lovely coffee machine Peaceful with good outdoor space.

The perfect little hideaway for a few days. If it’s character you’re looking for you can’t go wrong with Covey Cottage! Perfectly peaceful and secluded and lovely, friendly hosts. I’d definitely recommend.

Ben je tuinliefhebber? Dan mag je dit verblijf in een 100 jaar oude arts & craft tuin niet missen. Geweldig onderhouden en je kunt de tuin in wanneer je wil en er zijn verder geen andere bezoekers. Je hebt een geweldige tuin zonder dat je ook maar één onkruid hoeft te wieden!

Clare's cottage was perfect for our stay. It was very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. The location is just fantastic for exploring the wonderful valley with all it's natural wonder, and coming home to a warm fire was great.

Kathy’s cottage in Crickhowell is fantastic – beautifully decorated, spotless, and extremely well equipped. Everything was clean and tidy, and we felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. The location is perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet within easy walking distance of all the lovely shops, restaurants and pubs in Crickhowell – easily nicest town in South Wales! Kathy was a brilliant host, with clear, timely communication and a warm, welcoming approach. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Great place to stay; cosy, very very clean and comfortable. Central place to visit the overwhelming nature of the Brecon Beacons.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay. Lars was so welcoming on arrival and we immediately felt at home in her cosy cottage. The cottage was well equipped and the beds were super comfy. The nearby Walnut Tree Stores & Cafe is well worth a visit - we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on our last morning. We also had a very tasty dinner at The Dragon Inn in Crickhowell. It really was the perfect base for exploring the Brecon Beacons.
