Holiday rentals in Yungay Province

Muy lindo lugar. Ideal para reservar el espacio completo. No tanto si son pocas personas ya que los huéspedes se cruzan en áreas comunes. El acceso es particular por lo angosto de la calle, pero el lugar compensa esa incomodidad.

La Sra. Marta y Caramelo son excelentes anfitriones, la Sra. Martita muy amable y siempre se preocupa porque uno se alimente bien, y Caramelo de alegrar aún más el ambiente. La ubicación del hospedaje con las mejores vistas de la cordillera.

Oscar was very friendly when we arrived, we felt right at home! He was flexible with our needs and made us feel very comfortable. Our room was comfortable and well worth the price. He also provided breakfast in the morning. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

I thoroughly enjoyed this space. We were passing through Yungay while cycling the Huascaran Circuit and managed to find this place, which happened to have space for 5 guys that needed a comfortable place to sleep after a long day of biking. Even with a language barrier, Winston was incredibly responsive and friendly and provided us with fantastic amenities. He was also able to provide good recommendations for food in town. The space itself was pristine and comfortable and had a large, secure courtyard with space for all of our bikes; we were also able to wash our bikes off there. The house is walkable to the rest of Yungay, but is tucked away from town with a beautiful garden out back that made the night quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Yungay.

This stay was absolutely beautiful, very secluded and peaceful. The host was very responsive especially with requesting a room upgrade. Note that if you want the balcony room listed in the pictures you'll have to request it when you book, but its a little bit cheaper to upgrade when you get there if its not in the busy season (Dec-Mar). The breakfast was delicious and if you need to leave early they offer to make you a sandwich to go. There's also a tequila distillery on the property with a wonderful bartender, if you like tequila this will be the best tequila you'll have. I bought a bottle and the price is very reasonable. Nothing bad to say about this stay, I highly recommend it if you're staying in Caraz even for a night.

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en Carhuaz. La vista desde el balcón es simplemente espectacular, con paisajes que te dejan sin aliento. El alojamiento tiene todo lo que necesitas para estar cómodo y relajado, y la atención fue de primera. El anfitrión fue muy amable y atento en todo momento. ¡100% recomendado!

My time here was beautiful and precious, so I stayed a lot longer. Belinda and her family are so lovely, I played with the children, meditated in nature, we gathered strawberries and aguaymanto, Belinda prepared lovely vegetarian food and we shared many beautiful moments. They were so helpful with all the informations needed for getting there and organizing taxis with the locals. Things to bear in mind: To take the collectivo to go down to Carhuaz you have to walk quite a bit, there are two steep beautiful paths. So, if you want to cook your own food, better bring it directly when you come, as well as enough cash for taxis etc. The water just get's a bit warm during the day. The dog and cat love to cuddle the guests :) I am so grateful that i met this beautiful family in this beautiful, genuine place. It's so peaceful and tranquil, the nature around is pure and healing, Carhuaz is cute, and the trekking to Laguna 513 is amazingly beautiful. I'm really touched by my experience here.

Yola's house is a perfect camp base to go to the amazing Laguna Parón or Pampacocha hikes. . The rooms have private bathroom. Nice and clean. Yola and Willy are working hard learning English and gathering more touring guide knowledge in order to assist the travelers better. They are also making some improvement in the house and the worker's are quiet and respectful. I really enjoyed my time in Caraz, a safe town and warm people.
