Holiday rentals with a kayak in Yakima River

We booked this vacation rental for my husband's birthday on Memorial Day, and it was absolutely perfect. Priscilla was incredibly accommodating and helpful, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. The home was so clean and comfortable that it felt like we were the very first guests to ever stay there. The beds were some of the most comfortable we've experienced in a vacation rental—and we've stayed in many across the world. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and Priscilla even went the extra mile by leaving pancake and muffin mix, along with a few goodies for the kids. We brought our own Keurig cups and ground coffee, just in case, but she had already thought of everything and had the coffee bar fully stocked. The backyard was a peaceful retreat, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We loved being able to launch the kayaks right from the yard and fish off the dock. Overall, this rental exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful Location! Lots of gathering space and large kitchen. Pool & deck were clean and spacious. Beautiful view of lake and mountains. Close to town but peaceful park-like setting. Host was very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend staying here!

We return every year. That should say all you need to know. Super welcoming and comfy accommodations and then add the warm welcoming hostess that goes above and beyond to make the stay special. We LOVE Minty and her shared space.

Beautiful serene location. Lake access, swimming. A beautiful hot tub looking out onto the lake with nice private saunas for warming up after. Amazzzzing.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had—maybe even the best in all of America. From the moment I arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. They made me feel like I was right at home, and that feeling stayed with me the entire stay. The house was spotless—everything was clean, organized, and thoughtfully prepared. They went above and beyond by making sure I had extra blankets, full access to the hot tub, back patio, and even the cozy living room. Every part of the home and the surrounding area was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. It’s rare to find a place where the environment, the people, and the home itself are all equally amazing. I’ll absolutely be coming back—and recommending this place to anyone looking for more than just a place to stay.

We had a great stay for our family get together! Lisa's place was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. She was kind, helpful and responsive during the lead up to our stay and the whole time we were there. We spent most of our time on the upper outdoor living space when we weren't in the water as it had a great view and was conveniently located right off the kitchen. The spacious layout was great for the young adults to have their own space downstairs where they enjoyed playing all of the iconic video games. Nice place! We would definitely stay again!

Our stay was fantastic! Ryan was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and friendly throughout. Communication was smooth, and the location was easy to find. The house was spotless, well-stocked with all listed amenities, and offered easy access to the lake. We especially appreciated Ryan’s generosity in providing the kayak, paddle boat, and game room access — the kids had an absolute blast! We had a relaxing and memorable time with our family and friends. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Sabine's home was immaculate and had such stunning views! She was extremely responsive before and during the trip regarding nearby hikes and things to do. The home was beautiful, and very large for our group of 6 people! We used the kayaks provided and had such a wonderful time relaxing there during our stay. We all drove to the Gorge one evening and it was a quick 30 min drive - not bad at all. Highly recommend!!!!

I love staying here! I stay pretty often

This was one of the neatest places to stay! It was clean and comfortable! The kiddos enjoyed the on-site park! It was within walking to distance of many restaurants. We had a great stay here!

Fabulous! Convenient ski-in, ski-out access—walk across the west parking lot and you’re at the mountain. Great hot tub. Cabin is perfectly outfitted for skiing—tons of gear drying equipment, nice storage area, etc. Lots of cozy details throughout the house. Our group of eight relaxed and slept comfortably. We loved all the very thoughtful touches; it’s clear Dave really enjoys hosting. He also went truly above and beyond to remedy a small issue we had. We’d love to come back!

We vacationed here with 2 other families and had the most wonderful time. The pictures don't do the cabin justice. It's beautiful with high ceilings and decor. The kitchen is stocked with all the things you'd need. The beds are comfortable and the shower was wonderful. The games room was so fun! It snowed and our children had the best time playing out and sledding. We had a blast! Tammy was super responsive, proactive and kind. We'd love to come here again in the summer! thank you again.

It’s a safe/without crime little town, I had a truck and job trailer with me that I needed to make sure it didn’t get stolen or broken into and this was just the type of safe place I needed. The lake and the little town was a definite plus, my girlfriend and I had to walk down to the lake where we found a beautiful scenery and the park had a metal statue of an angle like figure holding a woman that made a huge sundial. The room was warm, comfortable, and quiet when we arrived, there was breakfast by the office in the morning, and the man that works there was helpful, friendly and informative about what was available there at the resort, and what was available near the resort.

Very cozy unit overlooking the lake. We were upgraded to the Beach House, which is not the same unit as the listing. We would definitely come stay again, it’s a beautiful area and people are friendly!

Well insulated cabin. Wind was blowing hard and it was cold outside! But we heard very little and stayed nice and warm. The manager onsite was very nice and welcoming. We brought groceries and paper towels, plastic cups from home. We baked and cooked and played chess. Caught up on sleep. Went for a drive. Perfect weekend to get away from the city. I can't wait to go back. Blue Lake resort in the fall is now at the top of my list.

"A Truly Magical Experience!" This stay was absolutely magical! I loved the quaint charm of the location and town, with fantastic local dining options nearby. The onsite staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived. The spa experience was pure bliss—I didn’t want to leave! The access to hot tubs and saunas overlooking the lake was simply breathtaking. I also appreciated the ample seating on the beach, especially around the cozy firepit, which made for such a relaxing and picturesque evening. Spending a night here was such a treat, and I can’t wait to return—hopefully often! A huge thank you to the amazing team for creating such a peaceful and rejuvenating escape. Bravo to the staff for their warm hospitality!
