Family-friendly holiday rentals in Xirovrysi

Panos is an excellent host, very kind and generous. He arranged and paid for transport for us and airport pick up for our son on a separate date. He even gave us a lift home from a restaurant one evening and then we had a nice drink together. Panos and his family live on the floors above the Airbnb rental, which is on floors-1 and -2. The pool is excellent, although not large it is deep and has an “endless swim“ function that gives a great workout trying to swim against the current. The view of Athens is also amazing, especially from the -1 floor large picture window. Note that the -1 floor is open plan containing a double bed and the kitchen, but the -2 floor bedroom has a door for privacy. Steep hills nearby give you a serious workout when walking but taxis are reasonable (usually about 8-11 euros from the acropolis)

Anna and Menelaos were delightful hosts - friendly and helpful, & they even invited us to join them for Sunday dinner! The apartment/villa is just lovely - lots of space & fully equipped with a private wrap-around balcony (so you can find sun or shade to your preference all day), and a shared (with the hosts) garden & pool area. So lovely to come back to a little paradise after a hot day of exploring! And a great location - near enough to Chalkida that you can quickly be in the middle of the action if you wish. Note there is a relatively steep flight of stairs (as noted in the listing).

This property must have 10 starts reviewed this is not a house to rent the owner offers a HOME to stay, every area of the house has the equipment necessary to offer a wonderful stayed ! Great job !!! Others already talked about functionality and practicality. I will talk about the impression. The moment you enter the spacious yard, you are in some movie scene. Old olive trees all around the path leading to the house, smell of conifers, fresh air and stunning, amazing view, wherever you look. The house itself is a testimony of a brave man who built a home for his family. Every single detail speaks about love, honor, pride and enjoyment of life. It is calm and peaceful there. Energizing and relaxing at the same time. Everything is fragrant and airy. Dimitra is a caring, unobtrusive host and we are immensely grateful to her for everything

The apartment is wonderful, spacious and has many more amenities than described. It is a house with everything you may need. It is also very peaceful with beautiful balconies. It is ideal also for families with toddlers, there is a nice park nearby. We had a great stay!

Leah's apartment was perfect. Just a 3 to 4 minute walk to the metro and 5 to 6 stops to downtown Athens. It was exactly as described and pictures were accurate. She was quick to respond to all of my messages. I didn't have any Euros on me yet and she drove me to a bank to use the ATM. She then drove me around the neighborhood and showed me her favorite places to eat and get coffee. We ate at a few or ordered in. There is also a cute bakery near the metro. The house does smell like cigarettes but that didn't bother us. If you have asthma this might affect your stay. This is Leah's personal home, which I liked due to her making extra money and not supporting a company who buys up properties and forces locals out of home ownership. If we ever make it back to Athens we would 100% stay here again. Thanks again Leah for a great stay!

Our excellent experience with the Hosts began before we even arrived, and their hospitality was superb throughout our stay. Tryfon was most responsive to any questions we had. A beautiful place to stay. Every thing felt homey, clean, and Zacharoula was just an absolute sweet host. She took care of us if we needed anything and gave us great recommendations near the area. The place was so peaceful and my wife and I had a great stay. We also love Beba.

A very great place and excellent value for money. Yiannis the host was very friendly and let us check in a little earlier so we didn't have to wait long. The apartment was very spacious and superbly equipped. We were able to cook very well and watch everything we wanted on TV, on which all kinds of streaming services were available. The evening could be ended very well on the balcony. Unfortunately, there was only air conditioning in one room, but this was sufficient to cool the apartment sufficiently during the day. We were very pleased with the apartment and our host Yiannis. If we had questions, we received a prompt and helpful response. An experience I would do again!

We just spent a week at Nikos apartment and had an amazing stay. We were looking for a peaceful atmosphere in a beautiful surrounding with the option to go a restaurant and the beach. The apartment offered all that and were really relaxed when we left. Only thing that is not clear from the apartment info, the second room with the single beds is not a proper room, it’s part of the living room. But that did not pose a problem for us. We loved it and can highly recommend it!

Everything was great and the owner was very nice and friendly, on my next trip I would choose it again and recommend it to others!

We felt right at home at Ioanni’s place, it was very peaceful. Very flexible and responsibe. Great pool, many balconies and extremely clean. It had all we needed! Will definitely go back again!

The villa is set back from the road up a very steep concrete driveway. We loved the peace and quiet, beautiful views and the nearby village of Nerotrivia. Aryiris came especially from Athens to welcome us to the villa, (of which he is very proud, as he and his wife had it built for themselves and filled it with arty things from their travels). The three double bedrooms have hand crafted queen beds, which would suit up to 3 couples, but as our group was of one couple and 3 individuals, Αργύρης kindly added a single bed in the lounge for us. The local bakery for fresh bread (φούρνο/αρτοποιεία) in Nerotrivia (Νεροτριβιά) is first left by a café, after passing Evia mini market, then first right up a steep passageway. The local restaurant, Bakoutis (Μπακούτης), on the left further down the main road through the village, will even make traditionally cooked Greek vegetarian meals in addition to their normal meat menu, if you order them the day before. We wished we could stay all month!

Wonderful place to unwind and relax. We love the pool and their dog Diesel ☺️.

We had a fabulous stay at Michael’s castle which was beautifully appointed and accommodation which suited our needs perfectly. 9 adults and 10 children age range 13 down to 9 months. The area is stunningly beautiful, peaceful with lovely beaches close by and swimming off the rocks below the villa a pleasure. Good tavernas close by. Michael was a wonderful attentive host. All in all a bit of paradise.

I really didn’t want to give this property 5 stars… 6 would be be fitting. The view was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is located in a chill environment surrounded by olive trees, there are also citrus trees in the yard. This house was in my top 5 stays.

Excellent house and host! Everything was very clean and Vasilis was very responsive and polite!! Just keep in mind that the whole experience is much better from what you see in the photos! My opinion is that the photos are downgrading the actual quality of the house! Every guests was more than satisfied 😊
