*Large cottage perfect for families* Spontaneously and at short notice, we decided 2 weeks ago to spend a few days in snowy, wintery Sauerland. With the vacation home Pape and its central location in Eslohe (all within walking distance), we have landed a hit. Many thanks for the uncomplicated booking and the flexible check-in. We felt immediately comfortable and at home on site. The decor is perfect for family with children and everything was thought of in terms of amenities. There were so many toys for the kids that we were able to leave our own toys right in the car. The slot machine with games from the 80s was not only an absolute highlight for the children. The sauna (thanks for the free sauna infusion!) warmed us up well and provided relaxation in the cold season. We had a perfect short break in your vacation home Pape. We will definitely be back! Very friendly host, but difficult to communicate due to the language barrier. A clear email in advance, which allows you to enter immediately upon arrival. Spacious garage where you can put your car dry and let your ski stuff dry. The house is dated, but that was already visible in the pictures. Still, everything was clean! The beds are comfortable and clean. The kitchen also has everything you need: stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee and tea. For the kids, there were games and a playsyation. Behind the house is a lawn where the dog could sniff. There is not much to do within walking distance, but it is about 20 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Winterberg. In summary, it is a nice, spacious, somewhat dated, clean house with plenty of space inside and outside. Friendly hosts and good location to relax.

We were already in the accommodation a year ago. Nothing has changed our impression: Great apartment with a lot of comfort, the surroundings are fantastic. Ilona was again a very good and pleasant hostess. Furthermore, an absolute recommendation!

A very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit remote, it is an excellent place to relax, especially thanks to the wellness area.

The house was as described. The communication in advance was great, we already knew exactly what to expect. Check-in went smoothly. The play barn and game room were also very appealing for us. In the area you could do a lot of business, also here there was information in advance. Lots of options for sitting outside. In short, we felt comfortable at the place and can recommend it.

We stayed in the apartment for the second time and felt very comfortable again. Heike and Detlef are very helpful. If something is needed, try to help immediately. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature, you have come to the right place.

We had a very nice one in Daniela's charming cottage. We did not lack anything on site and Daniela was always available for questions. We particularly liked the private location of the cottage and the beautiful garden in which we could make ourselves comfortable in nice weather. However, it should be noted that the noise, the nearby highway, which caused a subtle background noise at least during the day. Due to the good connection, however, we were able to reach beautiful routes to explore and hike in a few minutes' drive. Overall, we were very satisfied and can definitely recommend a stay.

We spent some nice days at Klaus's place in Selkentrop. The accommodation is newly renovated, totally cozy, clean and is very quiet and close to nature – ideal for a small break with children. Especially great: the private playground right by the house. Everything was well equipped and child friendly (high chair, fall-out protection by the bed). Otherwise, everything was great and Klaus, who lives on the property with his family, was very friendly and easily accessible.

The log cabin half is modern and lovingly furnished, everything was right. Kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. We will be happy to come back.

Great place to stay in beautiful rural area. The host was super friendly and helpful. We traveled with two small children and the accommodation was suitable for them.

A trip with 3 adults and 2 children. Plenty of space, so many loving details. An incredibly beautiful garden. All as described. Whether for grandma and grandpa or the children... everything was there and really lovingly designed. Open the door and feel good! We had a great stay with a total of three families. Ulla is a very nice, helpful and accommodating hostess. The accommodation and surroundings were really fantastic for a quiet break!

Very clean, good opportunities inside and outside to sit, eat, grill, play, etc. with many people. Beautiful play corner in front of the house for small children. From the house you can start walking directly and find nice hikes in the area. Communication impeccable. One shortcoming in the house was the kitchen equipment. For example, we lacked wine glasses in the two apartments, and there were no large bowls.

The stay was completely successful! Everything was exactly as described – clean and well equipped. Communication was straightforward and friendly. Thanks for the great place to stay!

We were in Vöhl for an extended weekend and the apartment was perfect. New and very clean, friendly hosts, we felt very comfortable (...and passed our sailing license on the Edersee). The kids loved the net and right around the corner is an Edeka very convenient to reach. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

We traveled with a group of 4 people. Klaus was a very nice landlord and was always available by phone. The location was very good thanks to a secret path, which Klaus had told us about beforehand, we were at DonCamilo in 2 minutes. We thank Klaus for the pleasant hours we were able to spend with him at the property.

I've been to a lot of places through Airbnb, but this house is by far the most beautiful I've ever been to. The interior is amazing and there is nothing lacking in terms of furnishings. The house was sparkling clean and you felt very comfortable in it.

The beautifully furnished, small hut is completely quiet with a view of meadows and forest. The layout and furnishings of the cottage are perfectly thought out and optimal for two adults; the kitchen is well equipped. Beds are very comfortable. In addition to the hut, there is a spacious shelter with a dining table and comfortable armchairs; ideal if you want to sit outside in the rain. Hikes are possible directly from the cottage. There are countless paths and pretty villages to explore in the area around the village. Our stay was wonderful - pure relaxation!
