We discovered our cottage by chance in 2019 & with enthusiasm and a lot of love for detail into a feel-good place in the beautiful Westerwald. (March 2020-August 2021) It is important to us and especially to me (Janine, a trained hotel specialist) to help other people rediscover the small and big things, moments & beauties in life closer again. Through time for yourself alone, with the family or even after work in our cottage and especially in the nature of the Westerwald. Regularly switch off, recharge, appreciate and celebrate life and above all yourself!

Das hochwertige Interieur läd zum Relaxen ein. Hier, am Tor zum Vogelsberg befindet sich u.a. der Einstieg zum Vulkan Mountainbiketrail "Mühlental". Bike Ladestation direkt am Appartement. Danach ein Saunagang? Bei Interesse besteht die Möglichkeit eine Spritztour mit meinen US Oldies zu unternehmen ;-)

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Our small cozy wooden house is located in a vacation home village right by the Holzbach Gorge on the Westerwaldsteig. Enjoy the tranquility and nature of the beautiful Westerwald. The cottage is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours and is close to a swimming lake (Secker Weiher). With up to 4 people, you will stay alone in the house. The garden is also intended for your own use. Arrival without a car is not possible. !! No rental to companies!!

It consists of a combined kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom. You can reach the room via several stairs. We had a great long weekend. Even though Christof couldn't receive us in person, the check-in and answering of questions worked out great. Everything on site was a little better than we expected, so we could really switch off. Sauna, whirlpool, fire outside, game nights (we didn't even get our own out), hikes, bike rides, movie night, barbecues... everything was wonderful and we are thinking about repeating the whole thing more regularly. One of our highlights in the accommodation was the record player as well as the record collection, which really represents an exquisite selection of music.

We felt very comfortable. Anni welcomed us warmly and showed us everything. It is an old, rustic house with charm. The rooms are lovingly furnished. We had a very nice weekend in the accommodation right on the edge of the forest. You could park directly below the hut and we could go hiking directly from there. The place had everything you need. Sebastian welcomed us very kindly and also gave us tips for the area :)

We had a lovely stay. Everything was neat and clean upon arrival, and the cottage itself was surprisingly spacious. You notice that the cleaning and decorating has been done with care and attention. The surroundings are also beautiful – wonderfully quiet and green, with a view that really relaxes you. We would definitely recommend this stay to others and would love to come back again!

I liked it more than the accommodation was super clean, flawless. Iris is a very pleasant and friendly person, just like her husband. We felt very welcome, even though we don't look like the model boys - neither prejudices nor anything else. If I'm in the area next time, I won't go anywhere else but here.
