Farmstay holiday rentals in Western Bay of Plenty District

Tony and his wife were really friendly. Tony was so prompt to messages entire time. As we were so late to check in he was so kind and waited for us to arrive until midnight. Also, he gave us a warning regarding transport at night time in case we needed it. The day we were leaving was 2 nights earlier than we planned, Tony gave us a refund. His wife was planning to take us around to show animals to my son as it had been raining the whole time and that was the only sunny day but we had to leave. I recommend this place if you want to have some private time as it is so quiet and peaceful.

Caron’s cabin was rustic and as described. Facilities were good for one night, Caron left us some eggs and fruit from the land. Caron greeted us on arrival and added some history to the cabin which was great. It was a great place for us to stay on our long drive down south. Be warned, creepy crawlies love the cabin also!!

The Ark Cabin on Kirsten’s property was a unique and peaceful stay for my partner and I. The place was exactly as pictured and described, and was perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. The outdoor toilet and shower next to the cabin were both handy and well kept. I would absolutely love to come back and stay again.

Loved our stay at this very special place! This was our 3rd time back. Tracey is such a warm person and outstanding host! Her place is exactly what we needed after a busy year. The bay is particularly stunning in the evenings with the sunset views over the mountains. We’ll definitely be back again!

We had a great stay at Sonia's place. The house was comfortable and clean, and walking distance to Lake Rotoiti. We enjoyed all the animals, a highlight was collecting a couple eggs from the coop. Thanks for having us, will defo stay again.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin, super friendly hosts and a nice cosy cabin with everything we needed and beautiful views. We made the most of the rainy evening and went to see the glow worms down the driveway. Also the homemade bread and little treats were a super nice touch.

Candys airbnb was beautiful inside and out. The views were absolutely amazing and the cleanliness and airbnb situation was perfect. You’ll notice small little details that do catch your attention and makes the experience of the stay that much more homey and comforting. My wife and I will most def be coming back whenever we are in the area :).

Julia’s place is a peaceful land for you to enjoy. We had a wonderful time overall.

Had such a wonderful stay! The place was incredibly clean, quiet, and spacious. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, especially the fresh avocado, eggs, milk, and toast provided for breakfast. It was such a nice way to start the morning! The bed was super warm and comfortable, we slept so well. Rupali and her husband are super welcoming and friendly! - gave us recommendations for local lookouts and offered to feed the sheep. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway.

We had such a wonderful stay at Nina’s beautiful farmstay this weekend! The property was peaceful, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing escape. One of the highlights was getting to feed the friendly farm animals—such a special experience that we absolutely loved! Nina was a fantastic host: warm, welcoming, and quick to respond. Highly recommend this spot to anyone wanting a cozy country getaway. We’d love to come back again!

A fantastic home that had everything we needed! We had such a fun long weekend here with family and friends — our kids absolutely loved it. The house felt like our own (we only wish it was!) and it gave us the perfect space to create some really special memories. It’s beautifully appointed, spacious, spotless, and ideal for large groups and families with young children. It comfortably fit our group of nine. We’d love to come back and do it all over again!

Lovely peaceful location and lots of space outside. Perfect place for a short break in a country setting. We were even able to check in early. We were only staying for one night so that was super helpful. We like places that are clean, but this place was spotless!

A perfect tidy and spacious apartment with own entrance in a quiet and beautiful area. Hosts are friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing from every corner of the house. The kids really enjoyed the pool/trampoline. Great location for Golf enthusiasts or just down the road from a Mountain Bike trail/hike. Highly recommend for large groups. Tatiana is very friendly and easy to communicate with.

All we can say is that Miriam’s place exceeded our expectations. We were impressed with the views, and the amenities were excellent The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We loved waking up to the serene landscape and the horses, it truly added to the relaxing atmosphere. This was by far our best stay, and we will definitely come back. It’s perfect for couples who need a break and want to reconnect with nature. Thank you so much for the lovely stay! ♥️

Simon and Charlotte are very friendly, greeted us when we got there and showed us around which was very nice of them. Overall a very good stay and I would highly recommend :)
