Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Westerdeichstrich

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip to Cuxhaven and had an all-round beautiful time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything was fine for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

The small chapel in the middle of nowhere is an idyll that has sweetened our short vacation. Our little daughter (2 years old) was all fired up about the free-range chickens and we just enjoyed the quiet and beautiful location. Martin welcomed us so warmly and his friendly manner made our arrival and stay more enjoyable. We'll be back!

We (2 adults, 2 children) spent 10 days in Finn's house. The house is absolutely quiet and the perfect base for beach and day trips. So a car is a must! There was no lack of amenities and there are enough toys even for small and large children. The garden is huge and there are also various activities here if you spend a day at the house. We were completely satisfied and enjoyed our North Sea vacation very much.

After a wonderful evening at a classical concert in the Elbphilharmonie, we arrived at the cottage by the sea and were greeted by a wonderful natural concert of frogs, sheep and the cuckoo. We slept wonderfully, in wonderful peace, and enjoyed the very lovingly and friendly interiors when we got up and were very enthusiastic about the wonderful surroundings directly at the cottage and beyond, a dream!! Seeing the sheep grazing in the pasture while having breakfast was simply soothing! Natural sounds, the wind in the trees... pure relaxation!! Jana has designed a perfect cottage in a perfect location, and we fear that if we continue to rave, we will no longer find free vacation dates to enjoy this place again... Jana was quickly reachable and also gave us a little more time for our departure, thank you dear Jana, for that too!! We will be happy to come back!!

I had a fantastic stay in this apartment! It is not only beautifully furnished and clean, but also perfectly equipped. I was even able to bake here undisturbed for the wooden wedding of friends. Absolutely recommended.

We had a very nice time at Laura's house. The house is clean, cozy, comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are comfortable and the garden is a paradise for children and dogs. Laura is a very nice landlady who answered our questions immediately and gave us tips. The location of the house, an hour from Hamburg and an hour from Sankt Peter Ording, for example, is perfect!!! So beautiful!!!! Thank you.

Beautiful accommodation in the heart of Friedrichstadt. We felt very comfortable right away, the place met our taste exactly. Tasja was really always very accommodating and warm, rarely had such a really nice hostess. If you want to relax and unwind a little, this is the place🌞

The apartment is highly recommended. Inke and her husband were super friendly and helpful. We immediately felt at home. There was nothing missing in the amenities. The breakfast eggs from the local chickens were very tasty. We will definitely be back.

It was my second visit to Marcus and I felt very comfortable again. Everything was perfect The next stays are already booked.

We have just spent a wonderful extended weekend at the farm. Amazing what fits in such a small, cozy apartment like the daisy. It lacked nothing! Great and thoughtful also from the Thiesen family that things like baking paper or dishwashing detergent (which you sometimes forget to take with you) are on site! But the most beautiful thing for us was the contact with the "real" country life and the interaction with the animals. The opportunities that are given to us are unique and we have not yet been able to experience them in this form. Good thing we don't live that far away and have the chance to come back ;))

We stayed at Anke's place for the second time. We felt very cared for and felt very comfortable. Anke was very friendly and helpful again. We will definitely come back ☺️

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who plans to vacation in Büsum. Super great location, less than a 5 minute walk to the water. Despite being close to the "shopping street", it was quiet in the apartment in the evening.

The flat is very nice and very clean! Excellent hostess, very friendly and attentive. We forgot a few things and were contacted immediately. Everything went smoothly and without any problems. Will book again! Many thanks to Gisela!!!

I was in one of Maike's apartments for the third time and as always very happy! The apartment is very nice, lovingly furnished, cozy, sparkling clean and the kitchen modern and well equipped. The communication with Maike is always straightforward and friendly. Everything is within walking distance(supermarket, bakery, etc.), drive e.g. to St Peter Ording Bad or to the lighthouse about 15 minutes. So a great location! With free parking is available right in front of the house.

We enjoyed our stay for four with dog in the Norderdiekhuus. The location is fantastically beautiful, with plenty of peace and privacy, yet much is quickly and easily accessible. The house is very high quality and nothing was missing, so we didn't have to worry about anything during our time there. The living area and kitchens are more than high-quality, the terrace is inviting and the bedrooms have a great view of the beautiful nature. Each of us would recommend this accommodation without reservation.

We had a nice stay in this very cozy apartment. You can reach everything super easily on foot. Tessa was always available and accommodating. We only lacked a shelter for the bikes on the property - but there was a backyard that could not be seen from the street. All in all, we highly recommend the accommodation.

We had wonderful days in this apartment! As soon as we entered, we immediately felt comfortable – everything was sparkling clean, tastefully furnished and equipped with great attention to detail. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed very comfortable and the location just perfect: quiet and very close to the sandbank for long walks and the beautiful Strandkind café for the perfect ending. Also during our stay, Sonja was always friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this apartment and would come back anytime. Thank you very much for this all-round successful stay!

As always, Tim's apartment was just a dream. This time we were here with our one-year-old son and thanks to the high chair and super bed situation, it was also just great! The size is great and the location is just perfect for the south beach but also easily accessible by public transport. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice and clean apartment in the center of Carolinensiel. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Shops, restaurants, café, harbor and sea within walking distance. Very friendly hosts with clear and accurate information. The check in via key box was very convenient. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Great apartment with pool and sauna and fireplace, we felt very comfortable and had a great Easter weekend. The pool should have liked to be a little warmer and cleaner, in the corners the dirt collected, the temperature was only 26° But all in all, it is a nice quiet successful relaxing oasis that we would definitely recommend!

A great apartment. You can't say anything negative. Stylishly furnished, clean, modern, quiet, nice landlords helpful and accommodating. If we come back to Bremerhaven, it will only be in this apartment. Highly recommended.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment! There is a blind for the window in the shower (for those who are also asking😉). The garden is a dream and we sat in the sun in the afternoon for an hour or two and watched the chicken gang during their laps. The street was quite noisy during our visit. The windows are super insulated - when they are closed, it's completely unproblematic. But we slept with the window open and then it was quite noisy. Maybe this will be better due to the leaves on the trees in front of the window, but everything was still bare with us. 🙂 The contact with Christoph was super nice, friendly and uncomplicated both before and on site.

We were only there one night and felt very comfortable. Nice farm with animals and play opportunities for the little ones. And especially very nice hosts!
