Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wellington Shire

What an amazing house! Just spend 5 wonderful nights here with family, and it was the perfect home away from home, comfortably accommodating eight of us (four adults and four children). The games room was a massive hit with the kids, as were the hot tub and fire pit. A short walk to the beach, and beautiful views out over the lake. The birds taking flight over the lake at sunset was just gorgeous! And to top it off - Keith was the perfect host, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Highly recommend.

Lovely pet friendly property walking distance to Glenmaggie Lake. The property had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. We loved having our breakfast and watching an array of different birds eating the bird seed that was provided for us to give the birds. We also enjoyed sitting around the inside fireplace.We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away for some peace and quiet.

A classic Australian beach shack that was great for little kids, the dog and a special bench seat with one of the great views.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and stocked with tons of board games, which made for some fun, relaxing evenings. It’s in a great location—easy to get around—and being dog friendly was a huge bonus for us. Elisa was extremely responsive and provided lots of helpful local recommendations. Would absolutely stay here again!

A Perfect Escape from the City Hustle We had a fantastic break away from the city, nestled right next to the sea. The soothing sound of the waves was a constant companion throughout the day. While there wasn't much to do around, it was exactly what we wanted – quality time with family, long beach walks, and our pet. It was a wonderfully relaxing long weekend. The house was very comfortable and well-equipped, with great internet thanks to Starlink. Fiona was super responsive and helpful. The only downside was the weak phone network, but it didn't bother us much. Overall, a perfect getaway!

Great location. The back gate opens up to a lake and a park which we absolutely loved. It was very peaceful getaway. Hosts are very friendly and responsive.

House is great, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Deck with a brasero the wood burner and pizza oven are great bonuses to the house! We loved our stay at Michael's place. The surroundings are very private and peaceful, away from all hustle and bustle. We wish we had more time to enjoy the spacious house and surrounds. The house was beautiful and met our needs well for a wedding, with so many rooms it catered well for our mixed party. We loved the feeling of solitude and the views are absolutely spectacular. We would definitely visit again.

Didn't get to stay in this apartment as the previous guest wished to extend their stay, but Tom/team moved us to a great apartment they manage at M. Hotel just around the corner. Everybody we interacted with in the process was a pleasure to deal with and made our stay in Sale lovely.

Very well located apartment, right on Bourke Street and a short walk to the village. We arrived a bit early and staff were super responsive allowing us to store our baggage and then texted when the apartment was ready (ahead of schedule).

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

We had an amazing stay at Whitehorse village. Excellent location at the top of Burke Street ski run. Need to arrange a ride share in advance if you have a lot of luggage as it is located at the top of the hill. Owner was amazing to deal with and the kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking our own meals easy. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Our stay was absolutely perfect and Anton was a great host who was super helpful and responded quickly to messages. Uninterrupted views of the sunrise, super close walk to the tennis courts and not one but three balconies to choose from to admire the view was definitely worth it all.
