Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Washburn County

Annual family vacation for six adults. House had plenty of room, and the setting was beautiful. Caught plenty of panfish off the dock, and heard loons often. Saw bald eagles as well.

We stayed here because we were visiting my mom for Mother’s Day but her home isn’t big enough for all of us to stay, this home is beautiful and has an amazing view out the living room window, it is very big and spacious, lots of room for multiple people to eat. Very peaceful deck space and the owners are very responsive and helpful! I always look for pet friendly Air Bnbs so it was a huge bonus to find this one! We were happy with our stay!

Great place! Loved the fully fenced yard for the dogs. ATV trails were super close and my husband fished during down time. We'll be back.

We had the most amazing girls weekend at this beautiful lake house! The home was absolutely gorgeous—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. The lake itself was calm, serene, and the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. It felt like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our host was incredibly sweet and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing escape with friends. We’re already talking about coming back!

Very easy check-in, and we were able to check in early, however it was a week day. Plenty of space for our stay as it was a work retreat. Very clean, and friendly hosts.

Beautiful home! Kitchen had everything we needed. Nicely decorated, top notch kitchen! Jim's a new host and was very open to any comments or suggestions. There were a few things he needs to work on, but I am very confident he will get everything taken care of.

We loved our stay here. The lake was frozen and we hiked, xc skied and drove on the lake, which was a new adventure for us. Beautiful views from the house overlooking the lake. Kitchen is very well stocked, spices are available too. Everything was very clean and communication with Gary is very easy, he is a great host! I would definitely stay here again!

The swimming was fantastic and the fire pit is great. The top floor bedroom is one of a kind. We got to watch a storm in a way we never have before.

The host was extremely responsive and helpful! Loved staying there, would definitely go back.

We travel A LOT and this sweet little spot was perfect for our little fam. We bring our 12 month old with us and this place made it very accommodating. All of the amenities were amazing and the small touches of baby toys, blankets, and shower stuff really exceeded my expectations. We would stay here again if we come back!

We keep coming back because it’s such a beautiful, relaxing, and forest immersive setting with its own lake and a wonderful dock to fish from! Wildlife abounds from turkeys, deer, birds, and a beaver family.

James’s place was incredible to have a family vacation at! It was very spacious and clean and came with LOTS of activities. We hope to be back!

We had a lovely weekend at Slim Lake Retreat. The house is wonderful. We enjoyed the screen porch for meals, relaxing, and playing games. The house was well equipped, it has everything you need to make meals and lots of games and books available. The lake itself, while not large, was clear and perfect for recreation- jet skiing, swimming, and floating.

we booked David's place kind of last minute, everything was great. It was a great value, cute little cabin, nicely remodeled, felt spacious inside for our group, plenty of extra blankets and stocked with kitchen utensils, tp, paper towels, a grill and charcoal. He had board games available for the kids and a nice fire pit outside. David gave us suggestions for places to eat and things to do but the kids were happy just swimming in the lake. The water is sandy around the dock area which was nice for the kids. We would definitely book again in the future.

We enjoyed the comfortably furnished cozy cabin and wonderful lake views. Jaci communicated well with us and made us feel welcome.

This is our second year staying at the Wooden Spoon Lodge and we enjoyed it even more. It is the perfect cabin for a peaceful, beautiful vacation. The water is clear and view of the lake is incredible. Will definitely stay again. Thanks Wendy!

We had an amazing weekend! The dual properties accommodated our large family between the two cabins. The kids loved paddle boating and fishing. There was room to do everything, along with enjoying the lakeside view. The fire pit areas were also able to accommodate all of us.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Goose Lake cabin. Collectively, we had six adults and three children. There was plenty of space for us all, and each family had their own bathroom, which was great! The kitchen was well-equipped vs other rentals, and well organized/labeled. The playset & zipline in the backyard were a big hit with the kids, and visible from the windows so we could let them play and have adult time without worry. It was peaceful to watch over the lake and listen to the birds from the back deck. A few went out and enjoyed time with our kayak on the lake; the water was too shallow for us to fish from the dock, however. We enjoyed the hot tub at night, and appreciated that we didn't have to heat it up prior. The cabin is only about 10 min to Spooner, and we enjoyed some time lunching and bar hopping in town. One small wish was for there to be screens on the windows, as my husband and my room (upper floor) got a little warm. Overall, it was a great stay!!
