A special place for those seeking peace and quiet Metochi Sea View is a unique retreat for those seeking tranquility, nature, and breathtaking views. The location conveys the feeling of having arrived at the end of the world – far away from the hustle and bustle, in the middle of nature. The sunsets, which can be enjoyed from the accommodation in complete seclusion, are particularly impressive. The furnishings correspond exactly to the description and leave nothing to be desired – everything is clean, well thought-out and functional. The approach is generally quite feasible, even if the last 700 meters lead over a somewhat bumpy stretch. If you drive slowly and carefully, you will reach the accommodation without any problems. Bathing shoes are recommended for the beach in the village, as the access is stony/rocky. Due to the often strong winds, we often visited other, more sheltered beaches in the area. We enjoyed the tranquility, the solitude and the special atmosphere of this place very much

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by them, who were waiting for us in front of the entrance. They helped us with our luggage and, in addition, she made us a delicious chocolate cake! Super people, always available, like family members or super caring neighbors! In addition, 4 fantastic kittens (mother with her 3 kittens), chickens, vegetable garden and fresh fruit that they offered us. A week flew by, with bright eyes for how well we are both with them and with the kittens 🥹 very comfortable place to go to the most beautiful beaches in the west! If we ever return, we already know where to stay! Perfect house, clean, with everything you need, if not more. The terrace is also perfect for enjoying meals with a beautiful view of nature and the sea!!

This house was absolutely amazing – just like in the pictures, if not even better! The location right by the beach is truly breathtaking, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. All the furniture and appliances are top-of-the-line – everything was spotless, high-quality, and incredibly comfortable. Ria was a fantastic host – super friendly, always quick to respond, and very helpful. We really appreciated how kind and welcoming she was. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would recommend this house to absolutely everyone. A perfect getaway!

This villa in Sfinari is a very special place to have a vacation. We were there for a week and wished we could have stayed longer. The villa really does look like the photos including beautiful furniture, an amazing pool, three lovely bedrooms including air con and even really nice crockery. The view from the pool is to die for - the sunsets are legendary! The location is great with the beaches at Elafonisi and Falasarna and the towns of Chania and Kissamos all being pretty close. The village itself has a few nice restaurants, but I wouldn't bother with the beach. Denis, who maintains the property, is also a godsend. On our second day we had heavy rain which left the patio and pool filled with Saharan sand! Denis turned up the next day and cleaned the whole outside space so we could carry on using it. A couple of considerations 1) the road to Sfinari is windy and mountainous, so a bit of brave driving is needed and 2) the villa is lacking basic foodstuffs like oil and herbs

Great accommodation with spectacular views - communication, check in, stay were super easy! Around it, there are some people who can look out over the outdoor area, which did not bother us because of the few people who were there at the time. The accommodation is surrounded by a great landscape, the E4 passes directly by the house. However, the routes to the hiking areas such as the White Mountain Reserve or the highest mountain of Crete are not less than 2 hours by car. We felt super comfortable overall and would come back :)

The place was as shown in the pictures. Everything was very clean and we were right at home. Antonios welcomed us very warmly and gave us a few tips for the excursions. The restaurants in the immediate vicinity are highly recommended, so you can leave the car in the evening. We would book the place again anytime.

This was one of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in! Beautiful location and incredible units that make you feel like you’re one with nature. The design of the property and units was very well thought out, and they felt very private and very luxurious as well, plus you can’t beat the incredible views. The owner Einat was extremely welcoming and makes you feel right at home. We would recommend staying here to anyone! If you’re renting a car to get here, I would highly recommend making sure you have a good car that can handle mountain driving and narrow roads. Our fiat 500 made it work but didn’t do the best on some of the really steep hills in the area.
