Probably the best AirBnB we have ever stayed at. Everything was thought of right down to the smallest detail. Camille was the perfect hostess- so helpful in a most unobtrusive way. We had a wonderful week and it was a perfect base for cycling. The safe storage for bikes was an added bonus. Also there was a lovely restaurant 100 m down the road and a boulangerie 200 m away despite the fact that we were in a peaceful sleepy village.

The accommodation is very well appointed, decorated with great taste, and nothing is missing to feel at home. Breathtaking is an understatement. A truly remarkable property in the Loire Valley. Upon arrival, we were blown away by the property and grounds. Honestly, couldn’t believe the entire place was for us. We traveled with two daughters, 14 and 9, and it couldn’t have been better. Not far from downtown Saumur and within about an hour to some of the most beautiful chateaus. We stopped at the store a couple times for food and cooked at the home all 3 nights, enjoying the wonderfully adorned kitchen and dining area. Waking up and enjoying coffee on the porch, while the birds were living their best life, was one of our favorite parts of the stay. Even though the home does not have air conditioning, the residence was very cool and comfortable downstairs, even during days in the high 70s. The bedrooms were equipped with portable fans and portable air conditioners, providing a very comfortable space to sleep. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!!
