Holiday rentals with a patio in Viseu

What can we say.. We spent a glorious, relaxed week here at the end of August, a truly special place a beautifully renovated original stone house with high ceilings and original features. Paul was a generous, friendly and knowledgeable host, and the views are spectacular. Apartment 3 was a good size for our family of 5 (kids 17, 14, 11) comfy beds, en suites for each bedroom and a stunning balcony. The pool was an extra treat, beautiful, and again with panoramic views across the valley. Oh, and the WiFi was speedy too. Brace yourself for the drive, it gets easier and it’s 100% worth it! Would happily and heartily recommend ❤️

Agréable séjour, Filoména est une personne très accueillante, à l'écoute, disponible et de bons conseils pour les visites à effectuer, les restos.... Toujours le sourire. Appartement impeccable. Merci Filoména, je reviendrai.

Espaço grande, bons quartos, limpeza, utensílios e pequenos eletrodomésticos bons, acesso direto ecovia para caminhar, simpatia e prontidão do proprietário. A casa fica elevada, por cima de espaço comercial.

For the place itself this would be a 4-star review because some things which were important for us were missing. But because of Susan's availability and proneness to improve, I decided to give it a 5-star instead. While the apartment is cosy and has most of the basics one needs for short stays, it was also missing some things which we repute important for our working from and cooking at home. Such as firm table, a comfortable chair and more utensils for the kitchen. The place is great if you want to have time for yourself in simplicity, especially because the general curated atmosphere really supports this, but not that much if you work from home and like to cook at home. That said I'm sure that Susan will take care in the future of arranging these aspects better with her guests.

Solution idéale pour celles et ceux qui veulent vivre un séjour tranquille et dans un village retiré et authentique. Dès l’arrivée, nous y sommes très bien accueillis, et pour nous qui ne parlent pas la langue du pays, notre hôte est charmante et parle très bien le français. Elle est au petits soins et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Le logement est top . Lumineux et spacieux, confort, tout est de grande qualité. A l’extérieur, plusieurs terrasses La piscine chauffée est évidemment un plus dans un jardin fermé. Trois petites précisions qui peuvent avoir de l’importance nous étions « seuls » ce qui était parfait pour nous. A d’autres moments, il peut y avoir de la promiscuité car il y a deux logements qui sont à louer (mais il y a deux piscines). Plusieurs escaliers donc attention aux personnes à mobilité réduite et pour les courses rien dans le village prévoir 20 mins pour le 1er supermarché à 6 kms. en bref nous sommes ravis de notre semaine !

Salienta-se limpeza ótima e boas condições da habitação. a senhora rosa é uma pessoa honesta, transparente, responsável e que ajuda sempre que é necessário. a localização é muito boa. Não é necessário usar o carro no dia a dia. O prédio é calmo e na maioria das vezes silencioso.

Acomodação mto bonita e aconchegante, poderia ter mais toalhas para quando uma estivesse molhada poder usar outra.

Lovely night's stay in a neat property tucked into a remote village. We found sweet treats waiting for us as well, which was a kind gesture!

What a wonderful little estate setting to stay at. Beautiful surroundings all around, very private & peaceful. The apartment has a great layout with spectacular bathrooms and a huge kitchen & living room area. Carlos was quick to respond to any questions. The inground pool is lovely, sadly the weather was not hot enough for a dip. Great location with a quick 90min drive to Porto. Surrounding cities within 30 minutes like Viseu.

Очень приятное место! Уютный деревенский дом с винтажной мебелью. Будто в гости к бабушке приехали! Очень чисто. Удобные кровати. Хорошая кухня. Приветливый и отзывчивый хозяин. Быстро реагировал на все наши запросы. Мы очень довольны временем, проведенным в этом доме. Единственный минус - это соседский петух. Он начинал кричать в четыре часа утра.

Espaço muito agradável em contato com a natureza e com muito conforto. O Carlos e a esposa são extremamente simpáticos e prestáveis. As casas estão muito bem equipadas, com tudo o que é necessário para passar uns dias maravilhosos. Apreciámos muito o alpendre e a zona do barbecue, bem como o passeio junto ao ribeiro.

We loved our stay. Susana and Marco are wonderful people. The accomodations were clean and well stocked. They were very responsive to any questions we asked. The area is gorgeous. There is a beautiful walking, bike path just a minute away. The Termas are just a 10-20 minute walk. The unit is better than the pictures show. They went above and beyond taking my travel mate to the post office to retrieve her phone she left behind because the day before Susana went to the PO to get it and her name wasn't on the package to retrieve it. The only issue is Google doesn't seem to have their address pinged right which is not in any way their fault. When we couldn't find it they drove to us and escorted us to their place. My only minor negative comment is the beds are a bit too hard for me personally.
