Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! We've had an amazing 4 days here. It's just a perfect location and we felt at home here. The pool, the view, the garden with grill - everything was just perfect. The only 'negative' things, if you can call them negative, is that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedrooms, and that the parking is a bit tight for a large car. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway in a beautiful location.

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

The countless reviews say it all: this place and Murilo's hospitality are both exceptional. Best to check it out for yourself as my review won't do it justice. A few highlights: the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is family friendly, and the landscape is amazing. This is my favorite airbnb booking, and I travel a lot. Hands down the best Airbnb we have stayed at! The setting was idyllic - every window looked out over vineyards and fields, the house was immaculate, - comfortable and well-equipped, and the pool was perfect. We are already planning to go back as there is still so much more to explore in the area. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, providing everything we needed for a seamless stay. I couldn’t recommend it more.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

Phenomenal! Great vibe with cool touches throughout the entire home. Everything you need in cookware available to whip up your meals. We ate outside in the little private nook just off the kitchen surrounded by succulents and staghorn ferns listening to the local church bells. Nothing better than that. Great little town with so many restaurants and cafès plus local grocery stores and bakeries nearby and also plenty of cool paths to hike nearby! Highly recommended!!!

Incredible house and host! Loved the area!

Loved it! The apartment was gorgeous, spacious, very clean and in the perfect location overseeing the Douro River. There are several great restaurants, grocery stores and wineries within walking distance. We had everything we needed and a few extras that made our stay even more special. The host was very responsive and checked in with us frequently. I didn’t want to leave!

Fomos em família e a estadia foi acolhedora e tranquila. Recomendo a localização, a casa é maravilhosa e os vizinhos muito simpáticos. É importante porém informar que é preciso ter viatura e esclarecer com mais clareza que o acesso às mesmas pode ser desafiante , dependendo de qual se trata. A entrada na casa é complicada, porque para quem chega de noite não é iluminada e o acesso ao cofre do self check in nao está acessível para quem está de fora. Um dos quartos é de acesso mais difícil, ideal para os mais jovens, mas não para visitas com mais limitações. Apesar das recomendações de melhoria, sublinha-se a tranquilidade, a paisagem incrível, e o conforto da casa, que está pensado ao detalhe. Vamos voltar! Obrigada

Olivier was a wonderful host, very helpful with recommendations of all sorts (food, trips, events, wine,..) and they even brought me fresh tea (herbs and fruits) from their garden for me to brew! The house itself was spotless, beautifully designed and simply great to be at.

Super séjour passé dans ce logement. Le coin est magnifique, l'endroit est paisible nous avons pu profiter d'un bon barbecue et de la piscine avec une superbe vue 🤩 Logement propre et bien équipé, bonne literie. Hôte réactif, nous avons eu de bonnes recommandations pour les restaurants et visite ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir l'année prochaine pour le Rallye WRC du Portugal

Beautiful house with a beautiful view. We really enjoyed our stay, and Elisabete was very easy to communicate with and responsive to anything we needed. She even provided a crib. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We had a lovely stay! :) We ended up staying a few days longer than planned (unexpectedly, due to a flat tyre – and no one nearby could replace it). The apartment is nice, clean, and cozy – for the price, it’s absolutely amazing. The house is semi-detached,doesn’t have a garden. Parking is on the roadside (the road isn’t in use, no a problem at all). The balcony has a wonderful view! The surrounding area is beautiful and perfect for walks. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side – it rained heavily most of the time, so we didn’t get to explore as much as we’d have liked. The village of Cerva is charming and well-kept. It’s a great place for a quiet retreat in nature. The host is kind and helpful, and communication was quick and easy. One thing to mention: there is 5G in the house, which feels a bit unnecessary in such a natural setting – but it can be turned off via the main circuit breakers if you're sensitive to that. All in all, we definitely recommend this apartment! :)

Ce logement correspondait parfaitement à nos besoins. Tellement que nous avons ajouté une nuit supplémentaire. La vue directe de la terrasse vaut le déplacement (vallée du Douro). De plus, José nous a donné une belle suggestion de dégustation de vins (à 5 minutes du logement) où les conseils et les vins étaient parfaits. Nous recommandons ce logement sans aucune hésitation

This place is a dream! If you are coming to portugal this is the perfect little hideaway. Ana Maria made us feel right at home and everything was in perfect condition. We used to stay at Pena Park Hotel which is also great but now that we’ve found Ana Maria’s little heaven, we will look to return whenever we come back to visit my Avô again. Obrigada por tudo Ana! This place is absolutely amazing — it exceeded all our expectations! In real life, it looks even better than in the photos. Getting there was very easy, and there’s a large parking area right on the property, so we felt totally safe leaving our car. The views from the rooms and the living area are simply unreal — breathtaking. Inside, the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had such a pleasant atmosphere. The hosts were wonderful — very responsive and helpful, and arranging check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. The entire property is stunning and well cared for. You will definitely enjoy your stay here. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Douro!

C'est un endroit magnifique. Une très belle vue directement de la terasse. Ça vaut le déplacement et je recommande fortement!

Reservámos o espaço para passarmos a Passagem de Ano entre amigos, e levámos dois cães. A zona é lindíssima e a recepção foi maravilhosa. A Cristiana e a sua família trataram-nos super bem, e fizeram questão de nos deixar à vontade, tendo estado sempre disponíveis para ajudar com o que fosse necessário. Os dias estavam frios, mas deixaram nos imensa lenha o que permitiu que a casa estivesse sempre quentinha. Na véspera da passagem de ano foram deixar-nos mais vinho e um bolo acabado de fazer. A casa estava super limpa e tinha tudo o que era necessário. Ficámos com muita vontade de voltar, obrigada por tudo!

Pedro's place is a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil location with beautiful views hills and lake. Pedro was accommodating and helpful right from the start with heaps of fantastic recommendations on places to visit and always responded to any question promptly. The house is in a very small village along a very narrow road so you definitely need a car, however within 15-20 mins drive there are an abundance of amazing hikes, look outs and waterfalls. my children especially enjoyed waking up to the chickens and seeing the local farmers (right next door) move their cows and sheep each morning and afternoon. The house is really big with plenty of space for our family of 5 and we really recommend this place.

The place was well designed and extremely clean. Everything was comfortable and Pedro communicated well and was very friendly. Diogo met us at the house and was friendly and helpful. We would stay again, next time we will spend more time there.
