Be part of the project to restore a historic house to its former glory. Ricardo and Sara receive you very well in a clean and friendly environment. The larger apartment is really very nicely done and spacious. The restoration of the rest of the house is work in progress so things will likely further develop from when we were there. The historic house is located on a lovely shaded village square with the local tiny bar Café de Rossio. Mix with the local population. We considered it as part of the whole set-up and experience with the house. Recommended.

We loved staying here! The views are amazing and the hosts very accommodating. It is an exceptionally rural area, we had to drive 40 minutes to the nearest town for dinner! If you don't want to do that the hosts will prepare food for you. The village is really scenic and I'm sure you could do a lot of nice walking/hiking in the surrounding area. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time. The apartment was spacious and clean. We also really enjoyed the pool, spend an afternoon there looking out over the valley - its beautiful!

I have never seen anywhere so beautiful, even in films! The listing cannot capture in just a few photos. It’s a bit tricky to find; worth noting that there are two towns in Portugal called Murça, and some very steep cobbled streets, hard going on a heavily laden motorcycle, but so worth it! Annabella and her team have done an incredible job in creating the most tranquil and rejuvenating accommodation nestled amongst unbeatable natural beauty. Cannot wait to return. Thank you for having us.

I can truly say that this was the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. (And I experienced a lot of Air Bnbs). Puri and Paulo made me feel so welcome. I was traveling alone and after Porto I really wanted to see the Douro Valley and the vineyards. This was the best decision. The whole Douro area is just stunning and definitely worth a visit. And Puri's house makes it just perfect. After a long drive through the Douro Valley, Puri and Paulo welcomed me with delicious cheese and ham and most of all very tasty red wine and a 43 year old port. The best port wine I have ever drunk. In the morning I jogged around the village and it was just beautiful, in the evening they showed me the bakery of the village where they sell bread only in the evening and it was so nice. All the recommendations Puri and Paulo gave me were perfect and I enjoyed my trip through the valleys to the fullest. My room and bathroom were very clean and the backyard was just beautiful and a perfect place to relax. They showed me their wine cellar and where they make the delicious jam we had for breakfast every morning. All of Puri's food is super delicious and worth trying. Once I'm back in Portugal I will definitely go back there and can highly recommend a stay here! Many thanks to Puri and Paulo for being so welcoming. In German there is the term "Gastfreundschaft", a combination of guest and friendship. And that is what I found here. Thank you very much!

Très joli logement dans magnifique environnement. Le petit déjeuner le matin est appréciable. La piscine est partagée avec les autres voyageurs mais on les a peu croisés. Hôte très sympathique, merci pour tout!

Estadia impecável, o quarto é tal e qual as fotos espaçoso e a localização é perfeita para visitar tudo a pé pois encontra-se perto do centro. Vale destacar a simpatia do Ricardo e de toda a sua família que nos acolheram muito bem e nos deram algumas dicas sobre a vila!

Gostamos muito dos dias que passamos nesta casa. Todo o espaço está bem decorado, limpo e muito acolhedor. O anfitrião foi muito amável na forma como nós tratou, sempre muito responsivo e prestável. Aproveito para agradecer publicamente toda a sua simpatia e tudo aquilo com que nos presenteou, como pão, queijo, bebidas, alheiras, etc. Não estávamos à espera de tanta amabilidade, o que nos deixou agradavelmente surpreendidos. Sem dúvida que voltaremos, porque a acrescentar ao espaço muito agradável as áreas circundantes são de uma beleza que merece ser vista e explorada ao máximo. Recomendo a 100%
