Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Vendays-Montalivet

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Belle location, très propre, parfaitement équipée, idéale pour un couple. L'accueil par Jean-Louis et sa femme est très sympathique, avec de petites attentions. Des commerces et services sont à proximité. Nous recommandons.

Quintessential French Country We could not recommend a place more! We absolutely loved our stay at Celine's listing, which was perfect after a few very busy days in Paris sightseeing. We enjoyed the slower pace, the beautiful pool, the private BQ seating area, and the indoor space was perfectly decorated and suited our needs well. We're in France 12 days, and this was by far, the best leg of our journey. Be sure to take Celine's restaurant recommendation - it was the icing on the cake. And Celine was the best hostess we have ever met! Charming, in every way.

Quartier très calme. Très bon accueil. Même le chien venait nous dire bonjour et jouer. Excellente literie, matelas super confortable Cuisine très bien équipée. Rien ne manquait. Café et tisanes à disposition, très sympa.

Maison très confortable pour deux personnes avec accès à une terrasse et un joli jardin bien entretenu. Noé et Sophie nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux dans leur propriété familiale et nous avons pu bien profiter de notre séjour. Merci et à bientôt !!

Louis-Antoine was a welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable host who gave us a thorough and thoughtful introduction to both the apartment and the city. His recommendations for things to do and places to eat and explore in Bordeaux were spot-on and much appreciated. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location—just steps from the beautiful Jardin Public, where we enjoyed several relaxing walks. It was clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly felt at home. We would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and welcoming. The bed was large and comfortable with crisp but soft sheets. There was fresh water, condiments and all you needed to settle in for a short or long stay. I loved the location looking at the grand church across the road. The tram was only a few metres away. Lots of food shops, bars and cafes. In short, it was perfect for my one week stay. Thank you.

A fantastic appartement with gorgeous views and everything as described! The location can’t be beaten right in the centre and the balcony is gorgeous. I was nervous about there only being a sofa bed but it was a pretty comfy one. There is a very very noisy bar underneath the apartment which is annoying when it’s hot and you need to leave the windows open. The fan helped! Overall I think it’s a great apartment for a few nights and great value.

Lea’s place was amazing - location in the heart of the historic district with balcony views to one of the ancient city gates. We traveled here for my dad’s 70th birthday and could not have been happier with the home. Lea was also very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Super séjour chez Stéphanie. L’appartement est sur leur parcelle mais totalement indépendant de leur maison, très bien équipé et confortable j’y ai passé 3 jours très reposants. Le lieu est très calme et l’accès à la terrasse et à la piscine est un atout indéniable.

The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and welcoming, on a charming street in historic Bordeaux, just a few blocks walk to the river and surrounded by wonderful cafes, bakeries, and shops. The arrangement of two bedrooms and baths was perfect for two couples traveling together. The kitchen was equipped with a Nespresso machine and tea kettle, as well as cooking equipment. There were fans as well as lovely windows to let in the fresh air. There is a small terrace off the back bedroom; however, it was locked off due to some safety concerns at the time of our stay, so we did not get to enjoy it. That said, we were not at the apartment much so it was really no big inconvenience. Ariele’s communication was great and she left a helpful guide with recommendations, as well as a map of the city which was very helpful being our first time in Bordeaux. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Si je pouvais mettre une sixième étoile, je le ferais ! Olivier est extrêmement réactif, gentil et arrangeant. L’appartement est très bien rénové et super bien équipé. L’emplacement est calme et très agréable Je recommande chaudement !

Catherine et Gérald sont d’une extrême gentillesse, très attentionnés pour que tout se passe parfaitement bien.On s’est senti comme chez nous. Je recommande fortement. Emplacement top, la mer à quelques mètres… le parking très apprécié et le calme de la résidence. Literie très confortable, lit fait a l’arrivée et serviettes incluses. Le lave linge également un plus. Nous avons vraiment apprécié l’esprit de nos hôtes et le logement.

Nous avons loué l’appartement de Vandy pour le week end. C’était parfait Les instructions étaient claires et détaillées permettant de trouver facilement le lieu d’accès. Die Unterkunft ist super. Das Bett war bequem und die Umgebung sehr ruhig. Wir waren außerhalb der Saison in der Unterkunft und hatten quasi keine Nachbarn! Gaëlle ist eine super Gastgeberin, die sich um alle Gelegenheiten direkt kümmert und immer schnell antwortet. Das Meer ist innerhalb von ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Der See (Plage du Moutchic) ist auch nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Im Apartment befindet sich alles, was man benötigt und ist super für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Wenn man einen Tag nach Bordeaux möchte, kann man super zu Fuß zur Haltestelle Marie Curie laufen. Die Anlage, auf der sich das Apartment befindet, ist gepflegt und besitzt sogar einen Pool. Parkplätze sind direkt vor der Tür verfügbar. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können das Apartment nur empfehlen.

Appartement très bien situé. L’aménagement et la déco sont top. Tout est fait pour que l’on s’y sente bien. C’était très propre et très bien équipé. Magnifique vue sur l’estuaire avec un balcon pour des apéros et des repas à l’extérieur. Excellente adresse et si nous devons louer de nouveau à Royan nous y retournerons.
