Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Vélez-Málaga

Roberto was great to deal with and very friendly on our arrival. The house was lovely, very well equipped and was a perfect location as we were visiting friends in the village. The place was very clean and had some lovely features and a spacious terrace that had fantastic views. I would highly recommend and will definitely use again when we visit next.

Fantastic and Excellent!!! Victor is friendly and an excellent communicator. The accommodation; Better than photos. with secure parking by the front door. Entrance then split level. First floor has a full size kitchen with a door leading to a BBQ area. A toilet. A dinning area and sofa area with big sliding doors with a lovely view and balcony with an out door table for six people. The next floor has a bathroom/ toilet etc, three bedrooms with one having an on suite bathroom. All bedroom are on the pool level with sun loungers and jacuzzi. It’s a great place to swim and sunbathe. Relaxing, great restaurants. Perfect. Lots to do and within driving distance to major water activities / Dolphin tours. We hired a boat, no license needed for small motor boat, dolphins swam next to the boat, It was amazing. Large Shopping plaza one hour drive through the hills, smaller ones closer. Yes there is a McDonalds, Lidl,Aldi and Spanish supermarkets. Old town near the castle. Will be back!

we loved our stay. private and secluded just what we love away from all the noise. the villa was clean and had everything we needed, kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils we possibly could need and even more. would definitely recommend!! thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house which has been thoughtfully refurbished and decorated! The house had everything we needed and everything was very well thought out. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing escape while still being in good reach of Velez-Malaga and Malaga itself by car. Our hosts were always very helpful, with excellent communication throughout. They took extra care to make sure that we were okay and had everything we needed during the Spain blackout which was very kind! We would happily come back to stay again!!

Huset er virkelig godt indrettet, hyggeligt og velegnet til 2 par. Udearealerne og poolområdet samt udendørsstuen er smagfuldt indrettet og beplantet og mindst lige så flot som på billederne. Beliggenheden er unik - udsigt til Middelhavet, 2 hvide bjergbyer og egentlige bjerge. Direkte udenfor huset er der en god vandresti med en rundtur til Almachar ligesom Benamargosa kan nås til fod - det sidste er en lidt anstrengende tur. Maria er en dygtig vært der hurtigt besvarer eventuelle spørgsmål og har hint til området, ligesom alle procedurer i huset er godt beskrevet. Husets udstyr er som beskrevet og alt er i fin stand og fungerer. Vi kan ikke forestille os en bedre indkvartering hvis man vil holde ferie i de små bjerge i baglandet til Torre del Mar. Vi håber en gang at vende tilbage på en ny ligeså god ferie i huset.

Great place to stay! Amazing view! We enjoyed it. If you have a toddler it doesn’t fit for the family of 2 adults and a child because there is not enough place inside. There are not enough cuttlers in the kitchen. There are many insects outside the house.

La petite maison de pêcheur au cœur d’un village blanc. Mignon, propre et bien aménagé ! Rien ne manquait! Des hôtes gentils et chaleureux très disponibles. La terrasse sur le toit offre une vue superbe sur le village et les montagnes. Merci pour cette parenthèse côtière !

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und hat eine super Aussicht von allen Fenstern und Balkon direkt auf Strand und Meer und zur anderen Seite in Richtung Berge. Man hört das Meer jederzeit rauschen und kann dabei toll auf dem Balkon sitzen und essen. Die Wohnung liegt innerhalb eines großen Hauses, was jedoch überhaupt nicht stört, die Hausmeister sind ebenfalls super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann zu Fuß viele Geschäfte und Restaurants erreichen, die man über die Strandpromenade vorm Haus erreicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Appartement empfehlen.

Estuvimos muy agusto, Angel siempre pendiente de cualquier inconveniente o duda que pudiéramos tener. La habitación estupenda y muy cerca de la playa.

Stunning stay at Gills! The location is perfect for peaceful days by a gorgeous pool with the all important parasols for the blazing sun. The accommodation is exactly as described and is furnished & decorated beautifully and in keeping with its style. Loved the little separate kitchen with all you need and the covered table area we used for breakfast! An easy drive from Malaga we recommend driving through the hills nearby! In Iznate there’s a local restaurant called Hermanos Tejada that we loved, epic goats cheese salad & grilled squid with the best cheesecake I’ve ever eaten all in an informal setting. It’s about an hour 30 from the El Caminito del Rey which I highly recommend! Popping into Malaga historic centre is 35 mins by car and the food market Gill recommended was brilliant. We went for a relaxing space without the crowd and we got it! Thanks Gill!

Eine Traumhafte Unterkunft. Perfekt für Paare. Man ist gänzlich ungestört und mit absoluter Privatsphäre gesegnet. Die Aussicht und das Häuschen sind wunderschön und laden zum verweilen oder einen gemütlichen Tag am Pool ein. Die Fahrt hoch auf den Berg ist etwas langwierig, man wird durch die tolle Aussicht jedoch bestens entschädigt. Wir empfanden die Lage der Unterkunft als optimalen Mittelpunkt für Ausflüge nach Ronda, Sevilla, Granada und Cordoba. Zu jedem Ziel sind es zwischen 1,5 -2,5 Stunden Autofahrt (alle vier absolut empfehlenswert). Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und sehr praktisch ausgestattet. Helga ist eine absolut zuverlässige und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin.

Estaba todo en perfecto estado y muy buena ubicación

Wat een fantastische plek! Het verblijf was precies wat we zochten: rust, ruimte en een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. De omgeving is heerlijk stil, perfect om echt tot rust te komen. Het huis zelf was brandschoon en ruim opgezet – ideaal voor ons gezin. De buitenruimte was echt een hoogtepunt: veel plek om te spelen, lekker buiten te eten en ’s avonds gezellig te barbecueën onder de sterrenhemel. Alles was goed verzorgd en met aandacht ingericht. Fernando, de eigenaar, was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Hij was altijd bereikbaar als we iets nodig hadden. We voelden ons meteen welkom. We komen graag nog een keer terug!

Holger was a fantastic host who met us on arrival and departure. During the stay we had many questions about southern Spain attractions and visitor points and Holger was very helpful. He even advised us on our Tangiers trip in Morocco. A car is important for this accommodation as the supermarkets and travel spots warrant one. Saying that the Uber service and taxi service was very easy to navigate. Overall high spec property with amazing views and great host so would highly recommend.

Even Better Than Expected! We had an absolutely amazing time at this property – the house was even better than the photos! Spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained. The pool is huge and became the heart of our stay – perfect for relaxing or playing around. The area is very quiet and peaceful, which made it ideal for unwinding. Shops and restaurants are just a 5-minute away, making everything super convenient. The local bakery their fresh bakes are incredible. Restaurants in the area were decent, though nothing particularly memorable. As for the beach – it was okay, but to be honest, the house was just too good to leave! We ended up spending most of our time enjoying the pool and the view. Would definitely come back – highly recommended! Nieves an amazing host!

Während unseres achtägigen Aufenthalts haben wir viel von der Umgebung erkundet. Abends konnten wir die milden Nächte auf der großen, liebevoll eingerichteten Terrasse mit Meerblick der großen Wohnung entspannt genießen. Durch die östliche Ausrichtung von Fensterfront und Terrasse konnte man zum Sonnenaufgang frühstücken und abends im Schatten grillen. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll dekoriert und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders gut hat uns die gut ausgestattete Küche gefallen. Neben allen benötigten Geräten waren auch viele nützliche Dinge vorhanden, wie eine umfangreiche Gewürzpalette und eine große Auswahl an Geschirr. Es fehlte uns an nichts, denn neben zwei Wäschespinnen waren auch Tauchermasken und ein Sonnenschirm für den Strand vorhanden. Selbst als wir einen technischen Defekt im Haus hatten, hat sich Charis schnell und souverän darum gekümmert. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen – eine klare Empfehlung für Paare, Gruppen (3–5 Personen) und Familien.

Alles was perfect! De locatie, het huisje, het zwembad, het uitzicht, echt alles was geweldig aan deze plek! Wij zouden het zeker aanbevelen! Daarnaast was Philippe een uitstekende host, hij was vriendelijk, altijd bereikbaar en zeer behulpzaam.

Jo und Gabi sind wundervolle und liebe Menschen, die sofort ein Gefühl von zuhause sein vermitteln. Sie haben uns in einer Notlage geholfen und uns kurzfristig ihre geschmackvoll renovierte Wohnung hinter dem tollen Kunstatelier zur Verfügung gestellt und sogar noch eine weitere Nacht die andere schöne Wohnung direkt nebenan. Die Wohnungen sind im Sommer angenehm kühl und alles ist blitzsauber und es sieht alles so toll aus wie auf den Fotos. 😊 Die Wohnungen liegen direkt im Herzen der Altstadt von Frigiliana und man kann alles zu Fuß erkunden. Trotzdem ist es nachts sehr leise, da die Schlafzimmer zur anderen Seite gelegen sind. Jo und Gabi sind sehr hilfsbereit und kümmern sich mit viel Liebe um alles 😊 Danke ihr beiden und wir sehen uns bald wieder 😊

Muy recomendado. Al lado de la playa y con muchos restaurantes al lado. Fui con mi pareja y su mascota y fue súper cómodo y Sarah súper pendiente de todo! Me encantó

Dit is een fantastische plek voor rustzoekers. Midden in de bergen met een prachtig uitzicht en toch maar een half uur van Malaga. Het zwembad is heerlijk en je kan er zelfs drankjes bestellen. Kies ook voor het ontbijt en een keer de tapasplank; deze zijn echt geweldig! De finca is makkelijk bereikbaar (volg de instructies) en rijd de laatste 15 minuten rustig op de onverharde weg.

Beautiful place with a spaceous terrace, amazing on sunny days. Very comfortable and very clean. Up to 5min walk to beautiful restaurants, cafes and supermarkets in Competa. Easy to find parking too. Host is very friendly and responsive. Would definitely come again!
