Beachfront holiday rentals in Vega Alta

This is our 3rd stay and it was just as wonderful again. Very peaceful and private setting with a beautiful ocean as your backyard. Convenient drive (or paddle board) to the best beach in Puerto Rico! Loved walking on the beach, hunting for shells paddle boarding, snorkeling and soaking in the ocean. Fernando is a wonderful host! The space is very comfortable and has a private getaway feel! We will be back soon! Hasta luego!

Ernie's place was wonderful & exactly what we were looking for. Its location was far enough away from the main beach of Playa Puerto Nuevo to be quiet and peaceful, while still an easy 3 minute walk to enter the beach. Ernie was working on a project next door when we arrived, but made sure to come over and introduce himself. He also supplied extras that came in handy - beach towels, coolers, beach chairs. The balcony and beautiful views were the perfect way to start and end each day. Overall, great host and place to stay! Quick tip - the remote to turn the living room A/C on and off also turns the TV on and off. Be sure to use the TV remote to save energy and turn the TV off, after turning the A\C on or off.

This was a beautiful home to stay in. The location was beautiful as well. The home is as pictured. A lot of amenities. Really, everything we needed for a comfortable stay away from home. It was very clean. The host was very responsive and provided wonderful suggestions for restaurants. I highly recommend this home for up to 8 guests. You won't be disappointed.

We genuinely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Dorado! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Our interactions with the host, Brenda, were easy and smooth—she was very responsive and made sure we felt welcome from the start. Her local recommendations were perfect and really helped us make the most of our trip. Everything we needed, restaurants, shops, and the beach—was walkable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, being under 45 minutes from Old San Juan was a huge bonus. You can tell Brenda takes pride in the home, and it really shows. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Dorado!

This was the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in on the island. The listing is 100% accurate. Everything was very clean and there was plenty of Everything we needed. Our group had the best time. The pool was a perfect temperature and pristine when we arrived.

The condo was perfect! Right across from the beach and a private patio to sit out on the we rented a car so having the parking space really worked out. His place is very clean and lovely to stay at. We had a bit of trouble getting in our first night but after that it was smooth sailing! I would def stay here again

We had an amazing stay at Alma's place! The condo was spacious, with a large kitchen and dining area, plus three big bedrooms. Our group of eight had plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The beds were comfortable, and the condo was well-stocked with everything we needed for a great stay. The location was perfect—just a two-minute walk to the beach. While it was a bit far from Old San Juan, having a car made it easy to explore. Alma and Alex were outstanding hosts, and their amazing team responded quickly and provided fantastic local recommendations. A washer and dryer update would be a great addition. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Rico!

Want peace, privacy, yet fun things to do? This villa offers it all! Our family had a great time walking less than 5 mins to the private beach, pools, and tennis courts. The area is super safe and quiet yet a 10 min drive to restaurants and shopping centers. The unit was clean and offered all the kitchen and bath basics, and board games. I loved the traditional furniture and decor! The host was super responsive and helped solve last minute issues. She left fresh fruit and ice bags for us and water bowls for our dog, and even let us check out a bit later. We loved our stay and will be returning soon!

The condo was clean and updated.. close to the ocean and three pools to choose from. The location is centrally located. It truly felt like paradise . The gated community adds to your safety and security and the grounds are well kept Very picturestic. Would recommend to anny one ..

Great place to relax!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa. The grounds are beautiful and we felt safe and comfortable there. The private beach was very nice. We liked walking over to the Hyatt and ordering drinks and food from the Mahi Mahi pool bar and restaurant. The Villa was VERY spacious and every amenity was provided. I think there were 3 types of coffee makers! We like to have our own kitchen so we can make our own gluten/dairy free meals. We had everything we needed to cook for the family all week. We would definitely return for a stay at the Villa.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Villa Iris in May 2025. The villa was very spacious and clean and we felt very safe with it being in a gated community. We loved having access to a private beach right behind the villas. We walked on the beach our last night there and got some great photos of the magnificent and colorful sunset! We had lots of fun exploring many places in Puerto Rico. One of our favorite adventures was going to EL YUNQUE National Forest. Alma and Alex were both great hosts and communicators and responded quickly when we had a couple questions. The villa was a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend it!

Incredible place, very responsive host and so peaceful! We really enjoyed the private beach, and amazing snorkeling at the reef. We loved the proximity to the wonderful restaurants at the Ritz reserve and many options in Dorado. The house is as described, we had plenty of room for all of us. Would definitely stay here again, thank you so much for having us!!

The house was comfortable and accesible to main highways. Easy to find and close to the beach. Jose was very cordial, helpful and super respectful. I highly recommend this family house.

Luis was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. He was flexible when we needed extra time, attentive to our needs, and ensured everything was spotless with timely cleaning services. Anytime we needed assistance, he was quick to help. Communication was smooth and reliable throughout our stay. The house itself is comfy and inviting, offering a true "home away from home" feeling. If you're looking for a comfortable place close to the beach with an outstanding host, I highly recommend this location!

We had an amazing time here. The beach truly was a few steps away, and a lot more private than any other beach we went to during our trip. The beds were comfortable, we had zero issues with the neighbors, and we were surrounded by beautiful Puerto Rican houses. The water was cold but I believe this is typical of the islands, and it didn’t feel bad since it’s so hot everywhere lol. Overall, we’ll be back with the family soon!! Perfect for two sets of couples

The beach was close about a 3 min walk and Jose provides you with all the stuff needed for the beach which was perfect. The area was about 10-15 to dorado for nice places to go to eat. It was closed to other neighboring towns too. Jose communicated well and left us a list of local eats and places to go too which was very nice and useful.

Mariana was great and super responsive. We will definitely stay there again.

Read this review: I booked this stay to spend new year eve and day. The check in and check out times were a plus. My family and I were ready to receive the new year relax by the beach until... a major blackout left the whole island without electricity. Luckily, the host had provided what we needed: flashlights, solar lights, solar fans, big cooler for the refrigerated items, gas stove. Next to that, games for entertainment and a fantastic ocean view to enjoy.
