Great place and lovely location in a quiet mountain neighborhood. It was exactly what we needed - big enough for 10 of us. Merigen was a great host, super helpful and communicative and helped me make a last minute change in the reservation. Lots of fun things to do - the kids are mostly grown but they absolutely loved the game room. So many amazing little touches - lots of throw blankets, binoculars, strategically placed coffee!, space heaters, huge game library, and we used the Bluetooth speaker the entire time to play Christmas music. The one very minor constructive advice I might offer would be that having a lower-set bed on the same floor with a bathroom would be amazing. It was a bit of a struggle to get my father in law situated and we didn’t want to put him in the casita by himself. Otherwise - epic stay and we would definitely stay again ! Can’t forget to mention the swing dance party we had in the “ballroom”. Thanks Merigen!!

Our stay was relaxing, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. Mickey was a kind, friendly, and generous host. She showed us around and introduced us to the alpacas. Our kids fed them both days we were there and were delighted. The home is cozy, warm, easy to feel at home in right away, and very quiet. We slept very well and woke up to a beautiful blanket of snow. We would recommend this to anyone who needs a weekend to unplug and spend a weekend making a memory for a lifetime.

Hot Springs Hideaway Cabin

This cabin is in a great remote location, truly a mountain getaway. I stayed after a snow storm so the snow was so pretty, but be forewarned that the cabin is only heated by fire and space heaters. Totally fine in one bedroom, but you need to keep up with the fire in cooler weather. Amrit is a great host with prompt and caring communication.

Casita in the Woods

This cozy casita was like a mountain retreat while travelling from Taos to Santa Fe. The place was just as described -Jen and Heathar are very thoughtful providing just enough for a simple quiet stay. I was able to take a hike right behind the casita and order keifer hand-delivered from their available farm goods. Knowing that I'd be unplugging mostly while there, I was still able to connect my laptop to a trusty Ethernet cable to get work done. I do evening sketches and reading, so by nightfall the intentionally dimmer light in the casita was limiting, but that just encouraged me to get to bed at a decent hour. (Comfy bed perch, by the way!) I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful experience.

The Anglers A-frame

We loved our time at the Anglers A-Frame! While not there to fish, we used it as a base camp for two days of gavel riding in the Valles Caldera and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen, and a great patio to sit on after a long day. Hoping to be back to ride more some day. Thanks, James!

Gorgeous Retreat Home in the Jemez Mountains

This home has a ton of character. It feels like a walk back in time, circa 1970s. I would recommend arriving in daylight to truly gain an appreciation for the environment, as it sits among all the pines on the hillside. We had a lovely stay, having the ability to quickly access the creek (about 15 minutes down the road by car). Jaclyn was quick to respond. It was a truly memorable stay in the Jemez.
