Family-friendly holiday rentals in Valle di Ayas

We just finished our stay at Villa Taugwalder's Matterhorn apartment, and cannot say more positive things about it! The view, the space itself which combined classic cabin feel with modern looks, decorations and amenities, and the size of the common areas and rooms all met or exceeded expectations. 4 bedrooms, two with large beds, and one with a single and one w 2 single beds, were just as described, and the 2 bathrooms upstairs (plus downstairs guest BR) were perfect. The location right by the church, walking distance from just about everywhere, were also as described. We would come back in a heart beat, with the personal touches of the hosts really being special, such as the thoughtful gift cards, maps, etc..., and how easy she was to communicate with, helped us especially when coming in. Finally, we unknowingly went to a related restaurant in Blatten on a beautiful walk from the Furi Gondola station - turns out the hosts own that spot. Would very much recommend a visit! 5 stars!

Our group of 4 had a great stay at Roberto’s apartment in Cervinia. The property has a homely alpine feel and is well equipped for a week’s skiing. We enjoyed the communal south facing kitchen living room and balcony after a day out on the slopes. There is storage for skis in the apartment complex but we left our skis in the garage in the basement as it was easier (a suggested improvement would be a heated ski locker to dry out boots). Access to the slopes is almost ski in / ski out - depending on how quickly you can walk with skis it is 3-5 minutes to the nearest red slope down to the Cretaz chair lift. Communication at check-in and check-out was clear.

Wunderschöne Wohnung, top gepflegt, sehr sauber, prima ausgestattet, klasse Dusche, grosser Außenbeleuchtung zum genießen der Abendsonne mit herrlicher Sicht auf die Berge. Kleines, feines Spa für ev. Regentage. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Kommunikation mit der Familie, sehr gute Empfehlungen, was wir unternehmen konnten. Ein rundum hervorragender Aufenthalt. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Splendida villa con tutto il necessario per soddisfare ogni esigenza. Ottima posizione, facile da trovare e con una bellissima vista delle montagne circostanti. Comunicazione eccellente e proprietari sempre disponibili. Un'esperienza da ripetere sicuramente.

Lo chalet Belvedere è bellissimo, ottimo posto per chi desidera staccare dalla frenesia quotidiana e ricaricare le batterie. La strada per raggiungerlo è un po' complicata, invita a scendere solo al termine della permanenza. La vista dallo Chalet è magnifica e le facilities disponibili rendono la vacanza ancora più piacevole. I sentieri nei dintorni non mi sono piaciuti particolarmente: alcuni non sono ben segnalati, le mete raggiungibili in poche ore non sono particolarmente affascinanti mentre per raggiungere mete più spettacolari si devono affrontare tragitti molto più tecnici per svariate ore. Noi ci siamo spostati in macchina per circa 1 ora e un quarto per imboccare sentieri molto belli.

Lovely place. Simple, with modern amenities. It is quiet, 5/10 mins by car from Cervinia. There are neighbours (who were lovely), it is a semi-detached. All the things you need, relaxing place. Bedrooms were bigger than expected. There were two of us, it would sleep 8 just be aware that the configuration is two large rooms, one with double and bunk beds, one with two doubles. Ideal for families.

Great assistance getting luggage up to the house and getting settled in. Beautiful view across and down the valley and really peaceful since there is no car noise.

Raul was accommodating and very helpful and friendly. We had a young child and a dog with us and were all made welcome. Dolmus II was a beautiful apartment, light and spacious with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Close to the main areas but far enough away to be private. Would recommend.

Kleine, sehr gemütliche Wohnung, alles sehr gepflegt und super sauber. Edoardo und seine Familie sind tolle Gastgeber. Es war bereits mein zweiter Aufenthalt in ihrer Wohnung!

Cercavamo un pò di pace e tranquillità e l'abbiamo trovata. Casa molto bella, ben arredata e dotata di tutti i servizi utili per agevolare soggiorno.

Allo Spledito Chalet di montagna ci siamo sentiti subito a casa! La location e' ideale data la vicinanza al paese di Champoluc (circa 15min a piedi), dove si trovano tanti bar e ristoranti dove assaporare la cucina valdostana, e ottimo punto di partenza per i tanti trails attorno allo Chalet, descritti nelle varie locandine che trovi in casa lasciati dagli host. Quanto entri, il profumo di casa di montagna e legna usata nel decoro ti rilassano e mettono immediatamente a tuo agio. Le stanze sono ampie, accoglienti e pulitissime. Il giardino poi ti permette di rilassarti e goderti la natura senza spostarti da casa ed e' anche fornito di BBQ in muratura molto caratteristico. 5* per tutto e non vediamo l'ora di tornarci.

This is our second stay here, and we're sure it will not be the last. Lorenzo is a wonderful host; kind, generous and super responsive. The apartment is warm, inviting and maintained to a very high standard. you'll find everything you may need for a pleasant stay, such as a Nespresso machine, a high -[spec washing machine, and much more. We simply love it.

Magnifique séjour, appartement spacieux, vue imprenable.

We stayed at the apartment and it was comfortable and clean - all you need for a holiday break. The facilities at the apartment allow for a choice of staying in or going out to eat. There is a sauna as well for a restful time. The location is excellent and we would recommend Champex Lac for a tranquil break, although we visited out of season and so cannot comment for high season. For children, there is not too much to do, except the indoor swimming pool and swimming in the lake - and feeding the ducks! (€3.50 for 2.5KG bag of seed from the superette provided us with some fun time feeding them daily during our stay). We will re-visit Champex next year, since it is a beautiful place to stay and has access to places such as Verbier not too far away to provide varied locations for walking.

You are enveloped not only in the countryside of Zermatt but also guests of La Vue with the best staff that will cater to your every need - from picking you up at the train station to helping you with reservations. The spa is amazing after a long day of hiking. It is expensive but worth every penny. They even prepare and bring breakfast to your room each morning. Pamper yourself and stay here. You deserve it!

Excellent séjour. Accès facile vers Zermatt par le train, un arrêt se trouve à proximité de la résidence (5min a pied). L'appartement est fonctionnel, bien décoré, bien équipé avec des jeux pour les enfants! Après une journée de ski nous avons apprécié la piscine et le sauna. bref je recommande vivement

This was our 2nd stay with Luisa and Giorgio and their kids and they already feel like family! They go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home, so friendly and welcoming and kind! Uncle Angelo is also a treat! We would come back again and again if we could!!
