Holiday rentals in Urique

Fily and his wife are super nice and accommodating. They picked me up From the bus station late at night and dropped me off early in the morning. They arranged a temezcal for me and even joined in. A friends of there’s Chato does tours and took me to Urique to see the Ramamuri on during Easter. Fily owns a Tienda right next to the airbnb that also has a very good restaurant which was convenient. The center of town is a 5 min walk and everyone in Cerocahui is super friendly. Fily was always phone call away and always responded very quickly. I loved the town and the scenery, had a great stay and will stay there again.

Francisco was a fabulous host. They don't get much better. He arranged transportation for us when we couldn't make the local bus, he welcomed us when we arrived and was always available to answer questions and provide information about the area.

Hugo y Raul son excelentes personas y anfitriones, el hotel vale la pena, todo nos encanto, fuimos felices ahí, personas amigables. Regresaríamos siempre que vayamos a Cerocahui - Bahuichivo. Un lugar muy bonito.

The communication was great and very helpful. All of my questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. It's a bit of a ride to get to the bottom of the valley, but well worth the trip. I got some good recommendations for restaurants and hiking which I very much appreciated.

Disfrutamos muchísimo! El lugar es muy muy bonito, las instalaciones están súper limpias y cómodas y Francisco es muy amable y muy disponible para ayudar en todo lo que se pudiera necesitar. Los paisajes que puedes ver no los encuentras en ningún otro lugar. Súper recomendado!

If you are only seeking a standard en suite hotel room with all mod cons then this is probably not your best choice. However we thoroughly enjoyed our experience here which was richly enhanced by our meetings with Michael and Kimberley who demonstrated a huge understanding and friendship with the Tarahumara built on their passion for ultramarathon running. Their ethos for sharing was a delight as we enjoyed cooking a harvest of vegetables from their property. There is a wonderful simplicity in the amenities and surroundings. This was the perfect destination for thought and reflection on our encumbered lives prompting a much needed reset. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for hosting us Kimberly and Michael.
