Copperleigh Trout Lodge is a double story self-catering unit built on the edge of the 10ha trout stocked Mavela Dam. Our sheep, goat & cattle farm is located in the Dargle, part of the popular Midlands Meander which has many activities closeby. 1h30min from Durban and 30mins from the town of Howick. The outdoor Wood Fired Hot Tub is a firm favourite! A quiet place for families & friends to relax and catch up, fly fish, bird watch or hike up iNhlosane mountain which is just a 3km drive away.

The Fisherman's Cottage

The Fisherman's cottage is located on a farm at the foot of the Drakensberg mountains; a short 17km drive from Mooi River. The cottage has panoramic views over a 6ha private trout dam and you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets while sipping your sundowner on the cottage patio, or the deck near the little waterfall.

Easy access to main house with steps leading down from parking area. The owners reside discreetly in garden cottage behind property, ensuring assistance while respecting your privacy.

The garden cottage shares an entrance and parking with the main house, but is an independent holding. It has an open plan kitchenette, dining room and sitting room (with a couch perfect for an extra sleeping space). The bedroom has a comfy double bed with both a dresser and cupboard.

There is a small deck area off the bedroom and the living room which has an outdoor jacuzzi. Enjoy a warm jacuzzi under the stars.

Mountain View Ranch - luxurious farm lodge

Mountain View Ranch is a tastefully decorated, sprawling ranch at the foot of the beautiful Highmore Nature Reserve. We have great hiking and cycling trails, horse riding, a river on the property and trout fishing dams nearby. Every bedroom has a view of the mountain. Our friendly rescued horses roam our 24 hectares with our herd of Nguni and Blesbok. We have built a beautiful boma with a hot tub for winter and a dipping pool for the hot summer months.

Swissland Chalet

Swissland Chalet, is on a cheese farm, along the KZN Midlands tourist route, close to Michaelhouse School. This quaint chalet has the most amazing views, overlooking natural bush and open valleys. It is a very tranquil, quiet and perfect place to unwind. In addition to this comfortable 2-bedroom double Storey chalet, it has a secluded rock pool, a step away from the front door. The farm road is 2.5km and a steep climb, low cars are not recommended.
