We feel so lucky to have met Jorgen—an amazing Superhost! He went above and beyond to help us: booking taxis, sharing travel tips, and even waiting late into the night for our arrival. He also kindly cleared the ice from the front door to make wheelchair access easier—just one of the many thoughtful things he did for us. We had a truly wonderful stay at this lovely home. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so welcoming and comfortable—it really felt like a home away from home. The host and his wife were incredibly kind and thoughtful. We especially enjoyed our chats with the hostess, who gave us a great introduction to the area, including local attractions and some amazing food recommendations. She suggested we try the local salmon, which turned out to be absolutely delicious! The room itself was beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches. We were especially impressed by the large balcony with its stunning night view—it was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. One detail that really touched us was the first aid kit in the room, which came in handy during our stay and truly saved the day. The kitchen was another highlight—it was very clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for cooking, which made our stay even more comfortable.

Our stay here was absolutely magical, with breathtaking fjord and mountain views that felt like a dream. The house was cozy, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and designed for pure comfort, making it the perfect retreat. The highlight was witnessing the Northern Lights dance right from the windows, no need to chase them, as we had a front-row seat from the warmth of our stay. Every moment here was special, from sipping coffee while admiring the serene landscape to enjoying the peaceful surroundings. On top of that, our host, Knut, was incredibly responsive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Everything was so perfect that leaving felt almost impossible. If you're looking for a scenic, comfortable, and unforgettable experience near Tromsø, this place is truly a gem!

Perfect place to stay especially if you arriving into Senja via ferry since it's very close to it. This airbnb is also about 15-20 mins to the trailhead for Barden, Hesten, and Segla, two of which I got to do. There's a 24h convenience store also close to the trailhead for Segla / Hesten. The place is huge and I was traveling by myself, I appreciate the cleanliness and the availability of kitchen utensils and spices (although I wish there was sugar). The place also smelled nice, they picked the right scents. Host is very responsive, I felt assured cause I was arriving late, so it was good he is very quick with responses. Would love to stay here again if I get to visit Senja again.

We had a pleasant and refreshing stay in Lill's place. Lill's place has all the facilities and items we need as a family. Lill has continously provided us clear instructions and proactively followed up on our arrival. Although it was very late when we arrived, she was present and handed over the keys to us. Her place has nearby bus stations and grocery shops. Overall, a very memorable stay together with our memories of northern lights.. Thanks so much Lill for the hospitality and support

Es war perfekt! Das Haus war sauber und es hatte sehr viel Ausstattung. Qualität hatte ein hohe Niveau. Ich war sehr zufrieden. Keine Nachbarn und super Sauna. Leider war der Jacuzzi nicht in betrieb… Kontakt war immer super. Ich habe mich verliebt in diese Unterkunft! Vielen Dank Truls!

das Haus besticht durch die schöne Lage direkt am Meer, wir konnten direkt von der Terrasse aus Nordlichter beobachten. der Wohnraum lädt für gemütliche Stunden am Feuer ein. im Nordic Hotel 500m zu Fuss gab es ein super Frühstücks Buffet. wir können eine Aufenthalt hier also wärmstens empfehlen, es fehlt an nichts!

אניטה וביורן אנשים מדהימים! קיבלו אותנו יפה, הראו לנו והסבירו הכל הבקתה. הזמינו אותנו להתארך אצלהם בבית לשתות תה עם מאפים שאנה הכינה כולל ריבת תותים ופטל ביתית. להכיר קצת מקרוב אנשים מקומיים - זאת חייוה מיוחדת במינה, בגלל זה אנחנו אוהבים AIRBNB. הבקטה קטנה וחמודה, יש בה את כל הדברים הבסיסיים והנחוצים. חדרי השינה נמצאים בקומה עליונה עם מדרגות די תלולות, בלילה קצת קשה לרדת לשירותים. סהכ הסתדרנו עם משפחה 4 נפשות. ל 3-4 לילות זה די סביר להישאר בבקתה ולהתפשר על נוחות של בית גדול ומאובזר יותר (וגם יקר יותר). סהכ תמורה די טובה למחיר. היתרונות הגדולים - מיקום מושלם לראות את הזוהר הצפוני. ראינו כמה פעמים ממש ליד הבית. יש גם חניון קרוב 3 דקות נסיעה. יש בגינה מגלשה טבעית והילדים שיחקו שעות בשלג ובמגלשה. הסאונה זה פשוט משהו נדיר ביותר - חובה לנסות, חוויות בלתי רגילה! עם נוף לים וחום עם עצים. (בתוספת תשלום).

Marielle's place is very spacious, clean and has a fantastic view over the fjord. It is a great location to go skitouring on Kvaløya, one route starts only a few minutes away from the house. There is a well equipped, large kitchen and a great coffee machine. Everything was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Wonderful stay! We loved the beautiful view and the place itself was nice, clean, and modern – perfect for us. Had a great time and would definitely love to stay again in the future.

Absolute Empfehlung! Thorleif hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben und auch vor Ort mit Schneeschuhen ausgestattet, sodass wir direkt eine Schneewanderung hinter dem Haus zu einem Aussichtspunkt fernab der Touristengruppen machen konnten. Sehr hilfsbereit, sympathisch, einfach. Die Lage war super durch den Bus erreichbar und der Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke ist auch ein Plus. Danke!

We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!

We keken enorm uit naar ons verblijf in Noorwegen en de host was steeds bereikbaar. We kozen voor een verblijf in rust en natuur met sauna en hottub. Voor het gebruik hiervan moesten we bijbetalen wat niet zo heel duidelijk staat vermeld. Voor deze prijs misschien wel wat meer hout voorzien want hier kom je zeker niet mee toe en vermits de prijs toch al prijzig is mocht dit er wel onbeperkt inzitten vinden wij. Het huis was proper, ruim en prachtig zicht. Wel een gevaarlijke trap naar boven, vooral het gat naar onder als je boven staat. Kinderen die aan het spelen zijn hebben dit niet altijd in het oog, misschien een omheining voorzien voor de veiligheid! De openhaard is zeker een pluspunt want we houden van deze gezelligheid. We hebben 5 van de 6 nachten het noorderlicht kunnen bewonderen vanop het terras. De keukenuitrusting kan misschien nog iets uitgebreider. We misten een mixer om onze soep te mixen en een vergiet om de spaghetti af te schudden.

Appartement très bien situé, au calme, avec parking inclus. À 30 mon à pied du centre ville et à 5 min de la randonnée Sherpatrappa. Bien équipé. Hôte réactif. Super séjour.

Great stay! Check-in was seamless, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to the city center, Main Street, and the cathedral. The room was small but well-equipped and perfect for a short stay. The highlight was spotting the Northern Lights from the rooftop terrace—a fantastic bonus! Would definitely recommend.

Väldigt fin och hemtrevlig lägenhet, fin utsikt. Modern lägenhet med allt man behöver. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Het appartement is heel goed beschreven in de advertentie. Het is een heel goed ingericht appartement, gezellig en met een prachtig uitzicht. Keuken goed ingericht, lekkere bedden, een heerlijke douche. Je kunt vanaf het appartement zo het centrum inlopen, maar de ligging is rustig. Je hoort geen verkeer en geen buren. De communicatie met Siv verliep perfect. In overleg konden we er ook eerder in en Siv vroeg tussentijds of alles in orde was en of we het naar ons zin hadden. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad en als we Tromso nog een keer bezoeken boeken we zeker weer dit appartement.

This is a lovely apartment and it's obvious that great care has been taken to cater for guests' needs. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with a large fridge-freezer, proper cooker, dishwasher and other appliances, and the apartment in general is comfortable and homely. The location is great, with the main pedestrianised shopping area a few minutes walk away and a small supermarket just around the corner. The car parking spot is immediately outside the apartment block. Ingrid is friendly and extremely helpful, allowing us to check-in early. We would stay here again if we return to Tromsø.

the apartment was very clean, tidy and had a very homely feel about it. no noise at all from neighbouring properties. The location of the property is excellent, being in the centre of Tromso and easy access to the many tour collection points which means you don't need to get taxis and buses at all ( except for the airport which is around 15mins away by taxi). The host Johanne was very friendly, flexible and replied to any queries very quickly. Overall, a very good break in a lovely apartment with great support from Johanne.

Sehr gemütliche Wohnung mit einem schönen Ausblick in den Garten, direkt vom Bett. Ruhige Umgebung aber etwas hellhörig in der Wohnung selbst. Gute Anbindung um mit dem Bus innerhalb von 10-15 min. in das Zentrum zu kommen.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was exactly as described and the surrounds were beautiful. Thomas is an amazing host, helping us out with local recommendations and information. Would highly recommend (especially for those with children).
