Beautiful home with a beautiful view! We loved every minute of our stay and would recommend to anyone planning to visit Nerja. The Balcon de Europa and Burriana Beach are both about a 15-20 minute walk. The Cave Bar directly across the street (next to the pool) had the most amazing food! Order the rotisserie chicken. Spectacular!

Fantastic and Excellent!!! Victor is friendly and an excellent communicator. The accommodation; Better than photos. with secure parking by the front door. Entrance then split level. First floor has a full size kitchen with a door leading to a BBQ area. A toilet. A dinning area and sofa area with big sliding doors with a lovely view and balcony with an out door table for six people. The next floor has a bathroom/ toilet etc, three bedrooms with one having an on suite bathroom. All bedroom are on the pool level with sun loungers and jacuzzi. It’s a great place to swim and sunbathe. Relaxing, great restaurants. Perfect. Lots to do and within driving distance to major water activities / Dolphin tours. We hired a boat, no license needed for small motor boat, dolphins swam next to the boat, It was amazing. Large Shopping plaza one hour drive through the hills, smaller ones closer. Yes there is a McDonalds, Lidl,Aldi and Spanish supermarkets. Old town near the castle. Will be back!

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Urlaub bei Mark und Adelaide. Die beiden sind sehr nette Gastgeber, haben uns am Haus begrüßt und uns alles gezeigt, obwohl wir sehr spät ankamen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, sodass wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Mark war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar und hat schnell geantwortet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Very comfortable and relaxing stay in a lovely house. The views are great and so is the pool. It’s even nicer than the photos. Super clean. Off the beaten track and has hiking trails around it.

Francisco hat uns am Ankunftstag zur Unterkunft begleitet. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist vorerst ungewöhnlich, man gewöhnt sich jedoch schnell daran. Es ist keine schlechte Idee einen Gelände-Mietwagen bzw. SUV inkl. Unterbodenschutz in Vollkaskoform zu wählen, da der kleine restliche Teil der Straße unbefestigt und steinig ist. Wir hatten einen Ford Kuga mit Frondantrieb und dieser war auf jeden Fall sehr gut für die Straßen. Aber auch mit einem Golf oder Ähnlichem kommt man ans Ziel. Die Unterkunft selbst war wie auf den Bildern - perfekt. Die Küche war genau so gut wie zuhause ausgestattet. Auch bei größeren Mahlzeiten zum Zubereiten hat nichts gefehlt. Francisco war so nett und hat uns ein paar Lebensmittel und Getränke und Kaffee bei Ankunft geschenkt. Francisco hat uns auch gutte Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Das Haus selbst ist perfekt, alles war im Besten Zustand. Der Blick auf den Strand und in die Berge ist unbeschreiblich schön, es ist ruhig und ungestört.

A mí madre,a mi hermana y a mí nos ha encantado la Casa Mare Nostrum. Desde toda la casa,incluida la zona del porche,el jardín y la piscina hay unas vistas preciosas de la bahía de La Herradura.Ademas se tiene total intimidad. La casa está decorada con muchísimo gusto y resulta muy acogedora.Asimismo está muy bien equipada y cuenta con todo lo que puedas necesitar. La iluminación nocturna de la casa,del jardín y de la piscina son perfectos y hay un silencio total para relajarte y descansar. La Herradura es un sitio especial con una playa y unos atardeceres preciosos,así como muchos restaurantes en los que se come fenomenal y cafés para un desayuno o merienda muy agradables. Y Patricia,la anfitriona, ha sido especialmente amable y dispuesta a facilitarnos nuestra estancia desde nuestro primer contacto hasta el día de nuestra salida.Muchisimas gracias por todo Patricia.

Wow, Wow, Wow, what a place! Surroundings beautiful, accommodation amazing , had everything we needed, although isolated our host gave such good instruction we found with ease, it was a beautiful experience fir the two of us, and would go back in a heartbeat. Teresa zelf was op vakantie dus nam dochter Irene de honneurs waar. Een hele vriendelijke ontvangst met een goed Engels sprekende zeer vriendelijke Irene. De woning is bijzonder mooi, evenals het zwembad en het uitzicht rondom is prachtig. Het laatste stukje weg naar de lokatie toe is wat slecht, los grind met af en toe wat hobbels / kuilen maar met aangepaste snelheid redelijk tot goed te berijden. Eenmaal aangekomen heb je rondom vanaf het topje van de berg rondom een mooi uitzicht. Wel heb je een auto nodig om Padul te bereiken.

This house was fantastic , communication with Estela was impeccable, precise and prompt , felt like she was my personal host , absolutely amazing. The pictures do not do the house justice, and that terrace was out of this world, also included a parasol which helped us to stay cool while looking at the perfect views . We took photos of the Alhambra from the terrace , it doesn’t do it justice!!!

Ha superado mis expectativas. Reservé esta casa por error pensando que estaría cerca de otra zona que quería visitar y no me arrepiento de nada. Gracias a eso he descubierto Jérez del Marquesado que tiene un sendero precioso con vistas a Sierra Nevada y la casa está junto a unas cuantas casas rurales más que comparten terraza. Por la misma terraza pasa una acequia y la casa dispone de una zona con césped donde ha estado jugando mi perrita. Hemos estado super cómodos y la atención de Encarna es premium, cualquier mínimo detalle cubierto. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

As a solo traveller who had never been to Salobreña nor the surrounding area, I took a leap of faith which thankfully paid off tenfold and have just spent an unforgettable month in this most spectacular part of Southern Spain. Amandava is a stunning home which has been lovingly restored by two people with exquisite taste. Everything was perfect, the location, the luxurious soft furnishings, the spectacular views from the terrace - all in all a beautiful Airbnb which I highly recommend. Perhaps the most perfect thing of all is the hosts - a truly special couple who could not do enough to make my stay an absolutely wonderful experience. The wealth of information provided prior to my visit, the warm welcome on arrival and the excellent communication throughout my stay made me feel most welcome and confident in the knowledge that any query would be responded to in the most kind and helpful manner. Do not hesitate to book this absolute gem of a home. I hope to return someday soon.

Het was een prachtig appartement.Ruim genoeg voor ons. Theresa had een superfijne communicatie. Het dorp bood minder dan we verwacht hadden,en het rijden in het dorp ( zeer stijl) en in de garage waren een uitdaging. Maar de combinatie uitzicht, de bereikbaarheid van de Sierra Nevada en Granada maakte veel goed.Als je de auto gebruikt huur niet zo’n grote .

This is a beautifully detailed home, feels relaxed and calm, but with so much thought and detail in furnishings and artwork. The beds were comfortable, the showers amazing , outside space delightful. Well equipped kitchen and a welcome basket of provisions which was kind. Moclin is a pretty town, locals friendly and fabulous vistas; great location for Granada.

Casa Naranja - We loved our stay in this house in Válor. You can tell an Airbnb is good because you immediately feel like you are home, it was so calm and welcoming here, we just did not want to leave - what a gem! The house is spacious, tastefully decorated and surrounded by a big garden with fruit trees and flowers. Even has a swimming pool, which was cold at this time but we did even use one day. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedroom upstairs has many windows with the sun flowing most of the day. We also enjoyed the terrace, which at this time of the year catches the sun and we could sunbathe in January, which was a treat. The location is at the edge of the village so you have privacy and quiet but are close to people and the little local shop is only a short walk uphill. Highly recommended!

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen etwas abseits von Órgiva (20 min Fußweg bis dort). Am ersten Tag hat uns Stephane gezeigt, wie man mit dem Auto am besten hinkommt. Highlight waren auf jeden Fall der große Pool und die beiden Terrassen. Auch ansonsten war die Unterkunft gut ausgestattet. Man merkt, dass hier viel Liebe reingesteckt wurde. Stéphane war stets erreichbar und hatte tolle Ausflugstipps für die Umgebung parat. Er hat außerdem mehrfach den Pool gereinigt und in Abstimmung mit uns stets Zeiten gewählt, die für uns gepasst haben, sodass wir uns zu keiner Zeit gestört gefühlt haben. Wir haben zu sechst zehn Tage in Stéphanes und Lunas Unterkunft verbracht und hatten eine rundum tolle Zeit dort!

Very charming, nice and quiet place in the Valley. Pinos de Valle has the luxury of a bar/ restaurant that’s open from 8 till midnight, a bakery and a small supermarket. All within easy walking distance from the house. The house itself is very charming and Nico had even provided lots of wood for the stove for those chilly February nights. And lots of recommendations for the surrounding villages. We would love to come back during summer.

Casa Santosha is one of the most exquisite places we’ve ever stayed. It looks like something out of Architectural Digest and Jane is the warmest host. We found it so peaceful and restorative. We had decided to go to Salobreña at the last minute when we saw how hot it would be in Córdoba, our original destination. Next time we will plan for a longer stay. I will also add that the townspeople and business owners in the Casco Viejo (top of Salobreña) could not be more charming and hospitable. There are so few places to go that you wind up really getting to know the waiters and barkeepers in the handful of bars and restaurants and it’s lovely to get to know them over a few days. We went down to the beachside a few times, but did not find the food very good or the places all that pleasant. They were all pretty busy and transactional.

So eine Ferienwohnung hatte ich noch nie! Ich wurde bei einem Treffpunkt abgeholt, da die Straße beim 1. Mal fahren etwas Gewöhnung bedarf. Ich wurde herzlich begrüßt und durchs Haus geführt. Einmalig: von Nahrungsmitteln bis hin zum Wattestäbchen. Alles da!!!!! Auf der Terrasse einen traumhaften Blick über die Berge! Nicky und ihr Mann sind immer erreichbar. herzlichen Dank! Nous avons passé un excellent moment chez Nick! Le logement est dans un cadre magnifique entouré de nature et de belles balades facilement accessible. La localisation est une bonne option pour visiter Grenada si vous êtes motorisés. Le logement est décoré avec goût et très chaleureux ! On s’y sent rapidement à l’aise. Nick a été facile à joindre, serviable et très soucieux que notre séjour se passe dans les meilleures conditions! Nous recommandons vivement ce logement !

We are enjoyed our short, off-season stay very much. The property is located a short drive from La Herradura town center with lots of local restaurants and shops. The property is as described, with all the amenities provided. The terrace is speclacurar with breathtaking views. We would definitely stay again!

Whatever I write will come up short of accurately describing our experience. Every single thing was better than expected! The apartment. The location. The hosts. The peacefulness. The hiking. The restaurants. The terrace. The absolute charm of Frigiliana. The ease of traveling to Nerja. It immediately felt like home to us. Magical spot with marvelous hosts! Two things to note. We do not consider these negatives, but important to know. First, if you have mobility or health issues Frigiliana may not be your best choice. Everything is either uphill or downhill. It’s quite a workout! Second, the bed is a full size (double) bed. Very comfortable. Great cotton bedding. Plenty of comforters and pillows. But if you are extra-large people accustomed to a King-sized bed, this will be an adjustment! :-) To sum it up. We’ve stayed in dozens of Airbnb’s. We would put this experience right up at the very top of the list!
