Really enjoyed our stay at the squirrel house! Anna is a wonderful host, really friendly and accommodating; she was super kind and attentive as well. Accommodation itself is exactly as in the pictures: has all the listed amenities + fully equipped kitchen with lots of spices, coffee, teas, oil.. really all the cooking essentials and more. We really appreciated her attention to detail, thought and effort that is put into the accommodation. Location itself is marvellous, their site is private and feels like a forest retreat, yet easily reachable by foot. Also, Anna was able to help us out with the luggage a lot, which was super nice and convenient. Would love to come stay again in the future)

Das Haus war wunderschön und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir dachten nur aufgrund der Fotos aus der Vogelperspektive, dass das Haus alleinstehend und abgeschiedener ist aber alles in allem nicht schlimm. Vielen lieben Dank, für zwei tolle Tage <3

Sehr schöne und spezielle Unterkunft. Sehr Naturverbunden mit Pferden, Hund und Katzen. Auch an heißen Sommertagen schön schattig im Wald. Das Restaurant war sehr gemütlich und das Essen sehr gut. Der Pool sorgte ebenfalls für Abkühlung. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen wenn man Ruhe sucht.

We stayed 5 days with two small children, enjoyed the place, its calm and friendly. Perfect in regard of value for the price, we got exactly what we expected. Its an old fashioned wooden chariot, if you want something fancy, it might be not the best choice for you. There are some mosquitos, better to be prepared, but it's completely normal everywhere close to the lake. The beach closest to the place is calm and quiet, easy to reach by foot, maybe a 10-15 minutes walk. For shops and other services you might need a car, but we could manage it also by foot, even with two small children. Without a car its better not to plan it as an everyday program, but also not impossible. There is a fish restaurant just on the end of the street. It was easy to get in the house, easy to leave the place. The host was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The house is very nice with a perfect view to the Balaton lake. The garden is large and very welcoming. Thanks for everything!

Nestled in an idyllic area, this place is an absolutely gem of a spot for hiking in the national park. Highly recommend a trip to the castle and the Spartacus trail, both of which can be done from the doorstep!

Kedves és segítőkész vendéglátó, nagyon könnyű ügyintézés. A gerendaház fantasztikus, jól felszerelt, kényelmes. Kutyussal is lehet menni, ajánlom mindenkinek! :)

Sanja's place is excellent for a getaway. Quiet surroundings, fully equipped, situated just a few hundred meters from a hiking trail. Sanja is a friendly and communicative host. Experience 10/10. Can't wait to return to Popovac :)

Für unsere Familie war es ein sehr idyllischer und schöner Kurzurlaub. Die Ruhe am Wasser war erholsam - eine besondere und eigene Welt in dieser gemütlichen Schilfhütte. Das Highlight für die Kinder: Ausflug mit dem Ruderboot 🤩

We had a lovely weekend stay in Tapolca! Judit was a great host, who met us when we arrived after giving clear instructions, showed us the house and gave recommendations for the area. She answered us very quickly with each inquiry and the check out process was just as efficient. You definitely need a car as the town is quite small, so to explore more of the other towns its a huge benefit as we didn't see much public transport. And there are plenty of spaces to park close to the house. It was a perfect little get away stay and it had all the facilities you might need. It is probably even better during the warmer summer/spring months but even in chilly February it was a great location that kept us warm and toasty.

Tolles Haus direkt am See. Total privat, da komplett mit hohen Hecken umgeben und der See nur für Anwohner zugänglich ist. Ausstattung top. Genau wie auf den Fotos.

Tolle Unterkunft, alles großartig

Wir hatten ein paar richtig schöne Tage am See – das Haus ist super ausgestattet und man hat wirklich alles, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen. Der Ausblick auf den See ist einfach traumhaft, und mit Sauna und Whirlpool bleibt auch in Sachen Entspannung und Abwechslung kein Wunsch offen. Besonders nett fanden wir die vielen Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung – sowohl im Haus als auch direkt vom Gastgeber, der wirklich total herzlich und hilfsbereit war. Alles war blitzsauber und liebevoll hergerichtet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder 😊✨

Absolute Weiterempfehlung! Haben dem See und dem schönen Haus versprochen noch einmal wieder zu kommen. Ich hoffe es klappt. Wer Ruhe am Wasser sucht und trotzdem die Annehmlichkeiten von Gastronomie und Shops haben möchte, ist hier absolut richtig. Eine richtige Oase, sehr stilsicher eingerichtet mit atemberaubendem Ausblick. Wir haben jede Menge Erinnerungen geschaffen, an denen wir noch lange zehren werden. Danke Renate! ❤️

Blick auf die Donau, eine schöne und ruhige Umgebung, der Strand zu Fuss (ca 15 Minuten)gut erreichbar und das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Alles was man braucht ist im Haus vorhanden, gut in Schuss und sauber. Als wir feststellten, dass die Waschmaschine nicht so recht funktioniert, war Attila sofort zur Stelle und hat sie ausgetauscht. Ein toller Service, vielen Dank nochmal! Das Grundstück ist ringsrum eingezäunt, was sehr gut ist, wenn man einen Hund dabei hat. Den Hund mit an den Strand zu nehmen ist auch kein Problem, es gibt genug Platz und niemand stört sich an der Anwesenheit von Hunden, alles total entspannt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt es in der Umgebung reichlich, Aldi, Lidl und Co sind mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Bei Fragen ist Attila jederzeit erreichbar und ausgesprochen hilfsbereit.

Tolle Unterkunft, die den Fotos entspricht. Gute Grundausstattung, gemütliche Einrichtung, bequemes Sofa & mega gemütliches Bett. Die Aussicht & die Ruhe machen die Unterkunft einzigartig. Werde definitiv wiederkommen. Einzig & allein die Treppe ist ein wenig wackelig, da sollte man schon trittsicher sein. Frühstück konnte man dazubuchen, das wurde direkt vor das Haus gestellt. Beim check in trifft man sich beim Haus für die Schlüsselübergabe, sehr netter Kontakt, allerdings dann kein selbstständiger Check in. Insgesamt ein toller Ausflug.
