YouTubeで見てからずっと楽しみしてた子供達(5歳、4歳、0歳)。お菓子が隠してあったり、隠し通路があったりと大興奮でテーマパークに住んでいるかのようでした。 バスルームやトイレもカビひとつなく、各部屋も清潔で赤ちゃんもたくさんハイハイさせることができました。粉ミルクまで置いてあって助かりました。 帰る頃には子供達の体力も限界で…午後の予定は詰め込まない方が良さそうです。 今度は他のシリーズにも泊まってみたいです！

大変お世話になりました。とても貴重な体験をさせていただきました。本や雑誌で見ていたとはいえ、やはり実際に体感してみて納得の連続でした。東京なのに穏やかで、とても暮らしやすいと感じました。スミレアオイハウスはありきたりな言葉ですが、とても居心地が良く、手触りが良く、程よい空間で25年前に本を読んで感動した時の感覚がリアルに蘇り、さらに肌感覚で素晴らしさを体感できました。本当にゲストハウスにされたことを心から感謝します。体験させていただき本当にありがとうございました。

This is a beautiful traditional home with abundant space. The sauna was a nice bonus. We spent time touring pottery galleries, pottery workshops and many pottery stores. We enjoyed the ancient indigo dyeing and weaving studio, the Shoji Hamada Museum. While we didn’t have a car, walking was easy as most locations were within 20min of our temporary home. Thank you!

This place was wonderful. If you’re looking to get away and stay somewhere traditional in Japan - this is it. I solo traveled for the first time ever here and it was awesome. Next to busy street but was white noise to me since I’m used to city noises. I have no complaints - amazing hosts, amazing traditional tatami home. The owner is so kind and was very helpful. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Die Unterkunft war fantastisch! Die Lage, Ausstattung und Sauberkeit waren perfekt. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Überall gab es klare Beschriftungen und Hinweise, sodass wir uns gut zurechtfanden. Wir konnten unser Gepäck sogar schon vor dem Check-in im Eingangsbereich abstellen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bedanken uns herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft.

Such a great find! The flat is stunning and looks exactly as described, spacious and very nicely designed and decorated. The area is also very vibrant, loads of restaurant and the host kindly provide a long list of places to go

I would recommend this place and would stay here again if I have the chance. Harumi was very responsive and met me in person for check-in. She has taken care of everything and the place was very nice and clean and the view of the river is amazing!

The apartment we stayed in was very clean, full of amenities and a very comfortable bed. It was perfect for us as a family of 3 with a 2 year old baby. The apartment is stylish, comfortable and modern! What makes this place stand out above every other air bnb we have stayed in was the customer service levels. The host, Aiko is extremely helpful, fast to respond and eager to help and give tips for the area or anything you could possibly need. One stand out item was that we were on our way to the airport and had forgotten our iPad. Aiko contacted us immediately to say she found it and when our driver refused to turn around, she told us not to worry and actually drove over an hour to the airport, offering absolutely amazing service levels and a kindness we have not seen before from any host. We highly recommend this air bnb! You will be in safe hands and stay in a beautiful apartment, you couldn’t ask for more!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

Clean and Safe place. Very near the train, and a lot of restaurants and convenience store in the area. It's our first time in Japan and we did not had any hard time going to places. Miyuki is kind and always responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Superb stay in Shimokitazawa. We really loved the area (enough going on but not as mental as Shibuya). The apartment was a great base for a few days and the tub was a bonus. Thanks, would stay again ⭐️

We’ve spent 4 nights there and the location is great, perfect for all trips around Tokyo. Bars, restaurants, convince stores and supermarket just few min walk away. The place is very quiet but still very central, connected to train stations.

Sik is a great host. He was waiting for us, explained everything and solved any questions in seconds. The place has everything you may need. Coffee, tea, tooth paste, soap and softener for the washing machine. The dryer worked well. All super clean. Super recommended!!
