Beachfront holiday rentals in Tofo Beach

Awesome villa which was perfectly positioned in between Tofo and Tofinho! The balcony has great views of the ocean with the sun rising directly up over the sea! The house, living areas and bedrooms were all very comfortable and we loved the braai area at the back of the house. The domestic helper was so nice and did an awesome job helping with cleaning and laundry. All in all - an awesome stay! We’ll definitely be back!

casita con encanto en zona alejada del centro pero enfrente de una zona de playa, muy tranquila para dormir y relajarte. Cuesta un poco llegar porque no está en acceso a ninguna carretera pero con la ubicación exacta se llega sin problemas. Tiene un bonito porche para desayunar y relajarse. El interior es todo de microcemento con un bonito baño y una ducha espectacular, mejoraría algo el colchón de la cama pero sin duda lo recomiendo

His studio was a perfect fit and the price was outstanding for the 8 days I spent. Aaron was gracious and super helpful, especially when a citywide electricity outage happened unexpectedly, he supplied beautiful fairy lantern and an additional space where the air flowed freely without a fan. Aaron was very responsive and made us feel comfortable and at home. He is definitely a super host! I would rent any space he hosts in the future.

The house is situated on a hill with a fantastic view over Tofinho beach. Quiet and peaceful with beautiful garden. Katija is a very good host, communicative and flexible.

Great location just by the beach, the cottage is super cozy! Perfect for a weekend getaway.

We had a fantastic 2 week holiday at Nadias place at Makolo Bay. The house is well situated with great access straight onto the beautiful Barra Beach and within close proximity to restaurants nearby. Claudio is really awesome and looked after us during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he took great of us.

O Richie foi muito prestável e simpático. A casa é muito simpática, a sala é aberta para a natureza e as duas suites bem confortáveis e frescas (com A/C). Ainda assim, sugiro levar repelente e dormir com os mosquiteiros das camas. A senhora da limpeza, Felizarda, também foi muito simpática e prestável. O point de surf Tofinho, um dos melhores de Moçambique, fica literalmente a 2 minutos a pé 🤟

Kirstin's place in Tofo is extremely comfortable, walking distance to the village & beach and we had a wonderful time. Antonio was also very helpful.

This is an amazing house at a great location. A lot of days we didn’t even want to leave the house for activities as it is very relaxing to hang out on the porch, taking a dip in the pool, watching butterflies, taking fruits from the trees… We’ve had an amazing time!

Beautiful property made of 3 independent structures revolving around the central pool. Perfect for groups of 6+ people. Good vibe and great views over the ocean from all the common area and from a couple of rooms. Helena, the cleaner, is great and cooks delicious fish.

La maison de Lorien est superbe ! Nous étions un groupe de 8 personnes, chacun avait une chambre spacieuse. La cuisine est bien équipée. Tout est tellement bien pensé, des détails tels que des patères partout pour sécher nos serviettes de bain, nos maillots... le personnel de maison a été extraordinaire et nous a donné de précieux conseils. Enfin, l'emplacement de cette maison, littéralement sur la plage, est incroyable ! Merci à Lorien et son équipe pour ce séjour inoubliable. C'est l'une des plus belles maisons que j'ai eu l'occasion de louer 😍

Superbe maison pour 12 personnes. Très grande et pratique. Très propre. Localisation paradisiaque sur la plage avec 4 chambres vue sur mer. Nous étions en famille et avec des amis, nous avons adorés. Bonne communication avec Cindy, notre hôte. Avoir 2 personnes à plein temps en plus qui s’occupent de la maison durant notre séjour (ménage, vaisselle, aide au quotidien, aménagement de la terrasse) étaient un vrai plus également. Je recommande vivement.

First time to Tofu and already planning another trip next year! The family and kids absolutely loved it and Nadia was like our own personal guide with tips and advice on what todo and where to go. An absolute unforgettable holiday and the house was massive, so many rooms! Her staff looked after us and were so attentive. Thanks so much once again. We will be back to Tofu!

We, a family off 6 adults and 2 kids 5 and 3 years had a fantastic stay in Craigs house. The house is something very special, its big, it is nice and it have the most stunning view!!. The house is a lot nicer than the photos, and the discription could also be more informative, if you are thinking on staying in Craigs house DO IT!! We had so much more comfort and fun than we could have expected. There is 4 super rooms sleeping 12 in total a wonderfull patio the kitchen and living room is big and nicely decorated. There was more suprices: The house is located in Golden Shores, a resort with all the help you need, we had problems comming up to the house, we had only 2wd, and you will need 4wd, but the resort helped us getting our cars up, rented us a 4wd and all the service we could think off!! The house is fully serviced, daily cleaning by mr August, full laundry service better than the best hotel:) The house is located in the resort but a bit far from the local life, you need to drive 15 min to a good supermarked, but then you also get what you need. The nightbour resort Golden Bay have a good restaurent. We spend a lot off our time by Jeffs Dive center, a family ovened place with best diving service you can think off, not only diving, also snorkling, and ocean safaries, we saw more than 25 whales, so the name whale off a time is right, there was whales daily! We can only give our best comments, go wisiting Whale off the time and enjoy Mozambique!

We had a wonderful stay and our accommodation was excellent thank you! Kitchen was well kitted. The bed was comfortable and the hot shower a perfect welcome after a hot day by the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck and had a daily swim in the very cool splash pool. We loved the closed in verandah with a view of the sea, which was perfect shelter on windier days. We had a very happy holiday and will definitely return.

Yolandi's place was very cool. Her booking acceptance was quick even though we booked last minute. We were received very warmly and taken care of by sweet staff (security guards and cleaner) for the duration of our stay. The layout is great with bedrooms indoors and kitchen and large lounge spaces on outdoor covered deck which design style reminded us of Thai beach bars/restaurants. Mostly wood and artfully poured cement. The beds had fresh mosquito nets, built in cubbies and reading lights; perfect for travellers. You could see the sea from the deck, though its a bit of a walk to the beach. Everything was very clean, linens/towels included and the kitchen was well equipped (even with a salad spinner, basting tools and an awesome gas grill). There were a number of two-story bungalows on the property, but we had the whole place to ourselves, which was surprising as it is a great place to stay. The cons: we did see a few mosquitoes at dusk/dawn, so bring spray. Noise carries a bit within the house so keep the heavy footed people on the ground floor rooms. If you have very young kids newly on the move, they would need to be kept away from edges of deck and 2nd floor as they might fall. Our 4 year olds learned how to be safe and stay on the lower level, but younger than that might be tricky. Parking is in a lot on site at the bottom of the hill, so belongings must be carried up (guard can help). We had a lovely 4 nights here, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great vibe!

The house is lovely - just back from the beach with lovely views from the balcony upstairs. Beds are comfortable and the house decorated nicely and well equipped. We loved it so much we extended our stay!
