Holiday rentals with a patio in Tlacolula de Matamoros

Amazing location! The place was super clean and comfortable. The only downside was the slow internet! it was fine for phone use and everyday stuff, but not great for work. The hosts were very responsive and even helped by providing an alternative WiFi option.

Desde antes de llegar, la estancia y en la salida, Josefina y su familia estuvieron muy atentos a todo. Un lugar estupendo y muy lindo. Súper recomendable. Gracias, Josefina y familia.

Me sentí como en casa, es tal cual como en las fotos, ya estando allí, se siente un ambiente muy cálido y acogedor. La anfitriona fue muy amable y nos dio buenas indicaciones para ir a comprar y dónde comer. El lugar estaba bien equipado con todo lo necesario, limpio y organizado. La zona es muy tranquila y segura, en la noche está bien iluminado. En la calle de enfrente pasa el transporte público llamado Citybus en ambos sentidos y es súper económico el pasaje y te lleva al centro o también puedes tomar taxi. Me encantó, espero volver.

We loved staying at Rodrigos spot! comfortable accommodations. He left us earplugs and had streaming services we could use! Had water waiting for us which was much appreciated after a long trip and we hadn't gotten water yet. Rodrigo was so detailed and helpful and responsive and kind. Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable bed. AC. Hot water. Many lighting options for low light which we loved. Lots of closet and drawer space. Short walk to food stalls, restaurants and convenience stores. 20-30 min walk down hill to El Centro. If the windows are closed, it's releatively quiet compared to the city as a whole. There was also a surprise terrace which we loved to hang out on!! We hope to return! Thank you Rodrigo and family!

The place was the perfect home base for our quick trip to Oaxaca. Easy to find and walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. The host proactively reached out to help make finding the place easy and continued to communicate to ensure our stay was amazing.

We just had a 5 night stay at this amazing apartment. It was very well presented and comfortable. It was located in such a great area and walkable to everything. The apartment was secure and we felt safe. As other reviews mentioned the bathroom could do with a revamp but it’s totally functional and always had hot water. The kitchen is well equipped for simple breakfasts and reheating food. The bed is super comfortable and huge! We enjoyed watching movies from it after a long day of walking around the city! We had no loud noise from the bar across the road- a little road noise but earplugs sort that out. The host were very responsive and kind. Thanks for having us. We’d say again if we returned to beautiful Oaxaca! 🙏🏻

What a wonderful place to stay in Oaxaca City (and my second time)! The studio is impeccably clean, cozy and thoughtfully and tastefully designed. I appreciated details such as a comfortable mattress, a full range of basic kitchen tools, and a hand towel and bath mat in the bathroom (details often missing in even mid range lodging in Mexico). I loved being in a typical neighborhood of local families and businesses, while still within walking distance of the historic center (about 25 minutes, depending on your pace). The studio is one of several behind a locked gate and the shared courtyard is pleasant, peaceful and secure. The high speed fiber optic wifi was excellent for my video conference work, without any issues. Anabell and Jorge were exceptional hosts- always prompt, thorough and helpful in communications, and warm, gracious, and friendly in all interactions! It is evident that they genuinely enjoy hosting, and take pride in the service that they offer. Highly recommended!

Un alojamiento que vale la pena por lo que pagas. La zona si bien no es muy cercana al centro ofrece rapidez en las avenidas principales. No es difícil llegar y la casa se encuentra en una zona segura. Tiene amenidades extras que a veces te hacen querer quedarte en la casa, excelente alojamiento.

This place was truly so stunning and Sara could not have been a more gracious host. I unfortunately got very sick during our stay but was still so grateful to be in such a beautiful place for it. The hot tub was wonderful with a view that made you feel like you were fully in nature. They even brought in an electric kettle so I could make tea and gave us their personal doctor information so I could get seen. I would keep in mind it isn’t entirely private there’s places right next door and you can kinda see in when it’s day time and blinds are open. Some drapes and extra hooks in shower would be nice but otherwise it’s so worth it for a short trip since it’s a little pricy. Would absolutely stay again.

Es una zona muy tranquila, muy segura, muy buen servicio, la señora Gema estuvo al pendiente de todo desde el momento de la llegada, dió recomendaciones de como llegar y el ambiente es como sentirse en casa.

Rebeca is an amazing host, she is quick to respond to any issues and requests and was happy to arrange transportation upon vacating for us! The home is sited back off the street with an exclusive use patio. The location is excellent as it is sited a block away from the Mercado with several restaurants and shops close by with the City center about a 10-15 minute walk away. There are also several gyms within walking distance from the home. We especially liked the window screens to keep mosquitos at bay, the washer/dryer, cleaning services and Air Conditioning at night in the bedroom! This is a very nice home in a great location with an amazing host! We feel the home provides good value for what it has to offer and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the beautiful City of Oaxaca.

un alojamiento muy lindo, yo no estuve mucho tiempo en el lugar por asuntos de trabajo pero mi familia se sintió muy cómoda, la señora Ana fue muy amable y atenta desde el principio, tuve un percance con las llaves y fue muy empatica. en general estuvimos muy agusto, sin duda volveríamos.

This place is incredible! Jose was super flexible and was an amazing host. The place is exactly like the photos! I would absolutely book again. I went with my 3 kids and my husband and it was perfect!

Excelente opción familiar para unos dias en Oaxaca!!! A unos 10 minutos del centro en auto, la casa cumplió con todas las expectativas. La alberca en días de calor es un plus. Muy buena la comunicación con Emiliano incluyendo recomendaciones locales.

Todo estuvo muy bien, solo que deben considerar que para personas adultas de la tercera edad son muchos escalones. La cocina muy equipada, de hecho desayunabamos diario ahi, el mercado esta a dos cuadras. Las regaderas muy funcionales. La casa muy agradable. Solo hubo un punto que falló, dos habitaciones no tenian refrigeracion y si hacia un poco de calor por las noches. Segun yo la publicación del alojamiento mencionaba que tenia aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones, fue algo que si incomodo. La buena noticia para los proximos alojamientos es que ya tenian en el sotano todos los equipos de refrigeracion para instalarse, asi que el alojamiento es ALTAMENTE RECOMENDADO!!!. Otra cosa es que los anfitriones son muy buena onda.

El lugar está muy bien ubicado para el traslado a las diferentes zonas turisticas. El espacio es muy agradable y existe concordancia con lo que se muestra en las fotos. El anfitrión mantuvo excelente comunicación y sugirió buenos lugares para comer y visitar.

We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Tilantongo - thank you for being such amazing hosts. The moment we arrived it felt like home - beautiful flowers on the table, water and snacks in the kitchen. Lots of thoughtful details to make for a comfortable stay for 6 weeks with our children, and such a fresh and modern space. The kitchen is well equipped and a great space for preparing food. Senora Paty, who comes and takes care of the plants/garden and patio areas is so lovely and does a great job. We loved being a bit out of Centro and supporting the local community businesses. Fresh tortillas around the corner everyday, fresh queso up the road, and the tastiest tortes not far and elotes coming past at night. Plus can’t forget Raices y Tierra across the road for delicious tacos and tlayudas! We made use of the local buses often and taxis to Centro which was affordable. A favourite air bnb! we hope to come back again to stay here (Oaxaca is amazing) as is Casa T!

La atención fue excelente, la respuesta a lo que solicitamos fue inmediata, la Sra. Anita fue muy amable y servicial, nos sentimos como en casa. Recomiendo ampliamente este alojamiento, sin duda me volvería a hospedar ahí. Gracias por todo!

Excelente ubicacion. Si te gusta caminar puedes. llegar al centro caminando. El departamento esta comodo con lo necesario para descansar. En mi proximo viaje a Oaxaca volvere a este lugar.

This place was perfect. Walkable distance to Santo Domingo and the Zocalo. The hosts were responsive and extremely helpful. I definitely recommend staying here and we probably will when we come to Oaxaca again.

The Airbnb was great, it looked better in person and everything lived up to what it was. The host was incredible at responding and helping out with what we needed. The food recommendations in the apartment were great and Mariana helped us organize a driver to help us get to the airport. Bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean and updated. Nice hot water and great AC. Would love to stay here again.
