Large sliding doors completely open up the front of the building onto the deck, giving you a feeling of always being close to nature. Surrounded by trees, orchard, lawn and garden, the studio is a quiet retreat space. The sound of the sea and bird song are always in the background. It's 50m from our house and well hidden by trees, so you'll feel very private. The best beach in NZ is a 15 minute walk away!

This was such an amazing relaxing place to stay! Plenty of fun games to play on the beautiful deck as well as the beach being right down the street 🤗! We had an unforgettable stay at Annie and Tautini’s peaceful and beautifully maintained home. It struck the perfect balance between feeling like a welcoming home and being a private, self-contained retreat. The view over the lush garden and surrounding landscape was stunning — a joy to wake up to each day. The hot tub was a dream after long hikes, and the location couldn’t be better: just six minutes from Ōhope Beach with plenty of scenic trails nearby. Annie and Tautini were incredibly thoughtful hosts — their recommendation to try Cigol, the Korean restaurant in town, was spot on. What made the experience truly special was the way they generously shared their time and knowledge about pounamu, local sites, and cultural traditions. We felt deeply privileged and blessed to have stayed here. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Beautiful location and home with an amazing host. Julie was wonderful and we had a fantastic stay - the photos don’t do this house and views justice. A special thank you for the basket of treats waiting on arrival and the ability to bring our Labrador dog with us who had an amazing time in the fully fenced property with beautiful beach nearby. My family and I loved Debby’s place! We loved how the pods surrounded the dining/outdoor area. Cool batch feel. There was lots of room for everyone, lots of grass space and an outside toilet and shower. It had everything we needed. Just a 5 min walk to the beach and 5 minute drive to town.
