Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tinos

Our stay was fantastic and we would definitely come back. We were a couple with two teenager girls and stayed two weeks. The location was great as 10min by walk to Chora, the main city, yet felt quite isolated as it was on the top of hill just outside of the city. There were little cove just below the house (5min walk) and it was perfect for the morning or late afternoon dip when we didn’t feel like driving. We had an amazing view of sunset. We ate on our terrace and enjoyed apéritive every night with the beautiful sunset and sea view. There was a small local market everyday at the port, so we would walk in the morning to get fresh local produce to prepare our meal. Karen and her family were kind, caring and communicative by always trying to improve our stay and providing us with many good recommendations. The house had everything we needed and amply supplied with towels, linens and other households supplies. We enjoyed our peaceful stay at Karen’s house and highly recommend it!

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wenige Kilometer von der Chora/Hafen entfernt und in der Nähe der Strände im Osten der Insel. Man hat vom Balkon aus einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf das Meer und die Berge. Abends sieht man das beleuchtete Mykonos. Wir haben nach der Ankunft auf Tinos ein Auto gemietet und sind zur Unterkunft gefahren. Dort kann man auch direkt vor dem Haus parken. Es ist sehr empfohlen ein Auto (vor dem Checkin) zu mieten und dieses nach dem Checkout abzugeben. Die Wohnung war sauber, hatte ordentliche Fenster und Türen mit lichtdichten Rolläden. Das Bad ist groß und sauber. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und es gab viel Platz. Leider füttern manche Gäste in dem Haus die Katzen aus dem Viertel. Das führt dazu, dass viele Katzen durchgehend auf den Balkon kommen und aufdringlich um Essen betteln und versuchen in das Haus zu gelangen. Es wäre sinnvoll, die Gäste anzuweisen, Katzen nicht zu füttern. Vielen Dank Eleftherios! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

A wonderful host in a stunning place...

Great Airbnb experience ! Irini’s house is a beautiful traditional Tinos house built by her husband. It has all the necessary comfort with great attention to details. Beds are excellent and you will find everything you need. While not speaking English, communication with Irini was still easy thanks to her kindness and hospitality. The terrace is large and very pleasant with a beautiful sea view. The house is located 40 meters away from a lovely traditional family taverna where the cooking is particularly excellent compared to other similar spots on the island. All this made our stay (with 3 kids) a great Airbnb experience, we highly recommend !

Virkelig skøn lejlighed og udsigten var bedre end billederne viste. Dimos var sød og svarede altid hurtigt. Lejligheden ligger tæt på stranden og byen. Lejligheden kan klart anbefales!

Nice location, a bit away from the town. You will need to have a car.

This is a perfect location if you want to spend some time close to a quiet beach off the main drag, with very few beach club umbrellas. There is wonderful taverna at one end of the beach, and a cafe with a very niche menu at the other end. You will need to hire a car or scooter to get there and make excursions from there - no public transport. We had been to the beach previously so knew our way around and how to get there, so I cannot comment on how accurate George's direction might be because we did not ask for directions. Comfortable bed and linen, and good aircon in case you need it. The only think you might miss is a washing machine.

We stayed at this unit for 3 nights and found the stay very relaxing. The hosts were very lovely and accommodating. They gave us a great list of recommendations of restaurants, beaches and beach clubs both prior to and upon arrival. The unit was just as beautiful as the photos and the pool was always clean. They had cleaning services come in everyday for garbage removal, linen changes and overall tidying the home. The cleaning lady was very considerate and would allow us time to vacate the unit when she came for her daily cleaning. The hosts were very accommodating in allowing us to extend our checkout time even though they were fully booked. The only downside was that the unit is located atop a large hill and walking up the slope, especially with groceries, can be really tiring; a car is definitely recommended. Otherwise, there are grocery stores, a small city and a beach all located within a 30 minutes (walk) radius. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back!

I loved staying at Apik's place! I went there to write my book, and the peace and quiet helped me accomplish my goal. The view was stunning and the cottage itself was charming. Katerina and Apik were super helpful while I was there too, making it feel like I was staying with family. I would definitely come back to stay again.

L appartamento è super, una casa comodissima x vivere, è pieno di luce, con due terrazzini dove fare colazione, la vista sul mare e sulle isole intorno straordinaria, non potevo sperare di più , era ciò che volevo. Bisogna solo essere disposti a fare due piani di scale , ma Nikoletta ti aiuta x le valige. Lei è gentilissima , sempre pronta a rispondere alle tue esigenze e a darti informazioni. Ci ha accolto con dei dolcetti squisiti fatti dalla mamma. È possibile andare in centro anche a piedi , oppure con il bus, c è la fermata molto vicina. Ci tornerò sicuramente ma x un periodo più lungo ! Assolutamente raccomandato. Grazie Nikoletta!

Ioannis and his property are 5-star all the way. Ioannis met us and showed us through the apartment and gave instructions about how everything worked. My first impression of the apartment was that it was very clean, bright and airy. Ioannis had stocked the pantry with provisions for the next morning since we'd not have had time to grocery shop which we found extremely helpful. During nice weather, the deck offered views of the sea and, sometimes, we could hear the surf against the rocks. Ioannis messaged me every few days to see how things were and to offer to help with anything needed. He was most proactive and went out of his way like no other host I've ever had. This is Greek hospitality at it's finest.

This is a cute, comfortable bnb with a great view of Mykonos. The only negative would be the stairs to get to the residence. We knew about them bc we read the reviews but thought it would be worth it for the view and it was. The views are beautiful. There is a cute patio which is great for sitting out on with some wine and cheese to enjoy. The residence is in a quiet area away from the busy Mykonos town which is a plus. The residence was fully equipped and Angelina was very sweet and responsive. Would recommend.

We had a great time, the view is excellent, the only thing is that it’s very easy to get locked out of the house as the door doesn’t open from the outside even when unlocked.

This was a real treat. For us, this was a holiday to relax and unwind with some great views and some sea to dive into in the mornings. This place was absolutely spotless and designed to a super high standard. The hosts were absolutely superb; with daily cleaning, and all of the useful basics on arrival such as tea, coffee, some local honey, fresh eggs, milk, bread and some booze. Fresh towels were provided regularly and Domenikos gave us a full run down of everything to do in Tinos which was really handy. The views were spectacular from this place and the beach was about a 5-7 minute walk. We went in October, so it's towards the end of the season - if you're looking for a quiet holiday with temperatures within the 20-25ºC region, this is the best time to go. Beach bars are often closed at this time but we were the only ones on the beach. If you have issues with mobility and want to get around the island, hiring a car is a very good idea - the apartment is all on one level.

We decided to have my wife’s 40th at Mario’s villa and from the moment we booked the communication was absolutely perfect. Then on arrival Mario was so accommodating and to top it off set up the birthday exactly how we wanted we couldn’t have been happier. We will definitely be recommending him to friends and family and be back again.

We loved our stay at Nektarios’s villa! It felt like a home away from home. He made sure that we had everything we needed, especially since we had our 2yr old with us. The pool and views were amazing! Could easily have stayed here longer. Bonus points for the endless clean towels! 😃

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans la Villa Silver Dune. La maison est sublime, impeccablement propre, décorée avec goût et dotée de toutes les commodités nécessaires. L’extérieur et la vue sont à couper le souffle. Katerina a été absolument parfaite : très arrangeante, toujours disponible, réactive et d’une grande gentillesse. Échanger avec elle a été un véritable plaisir. Nous espérons vivement pouvoir revenir y séjourner lors d’une prochaine visite à Mykonos. Encore un grand merci !

L’environnement est sublime, les villas dans la pierre sont superbes et la vue a couper le souffle. Panagiotis est extremement réactif et servible. Il nous a donné tous les meilleurs conseil pour du poisson frais, de belles plages, les meilleurs restaurants aux quatres coin de l’iles… Je recommande vivement ce logement

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in einem wunderbaren Haus. Es ist sehr privat gelegen ein weiteres Haus befindet sich darüber im Hang– dieses war aber zu unserem Reisezeitpunkt nicht belegt. Wir sind mit sechs Personen gereist und hatten insgesamt vier Doppelzimmer und drei Badezimmer zur Verfügung. Eines davon liegt im Erdgeschoss. Im Erdgeschoss ist die Raumaufteilung extrem großzügig mit einer sehr gut ausgestattete und funktionalen Küche. Das Haus hat eine herrliche Terrasse, einen wunderbaren Garten und einen herrlichen Swimmingpool. Der war angenehmen frisch, aber nicht zu kalt. Alles macht einen sehr gepflegten und Blitz sauberen Eindruck. Mit der Vermieterin waren wir im ständigen Kontakt und sie hat immer binnen von Minuten auf jegliche Fragestellung sehr hilfreich reagiert. In der Nähe gibt es herrliche Strände und auf der Insel auch gute Restaurants zu entdecken. Auch hier waren die Tipps wirklich wertvoll. Einen Leihwagen benötigt man idealerweise. Kurzum wirklich top!

We visited Mykonos May 31 - June 3 so it was a really short trip (me, husband and 2 teenage kids). This apartment made us wish we had booked for longer. It was extremely clean (and the cleaners came to clean every single day - at no extra charge by the way). The weather still had a bit of chill in the air so we’d asked for the pool to be heated before our arrival. The pool was simply amazing! We swam in it each day (and night). What really stood out to me about staying at this property were: Georges’s responsiveness (he created a chat group for the trip so his responses were nearly instant; the transportation he arranged for us whenever we needed it with executive Mercedes buses (at a rate cheaper than uber); the many recommendations for beaches, taverns etc.), the cleanliness of the apartment (it was truly spotless!) , the multiple relaxation spots (2 lounge chairs outside our room upstairs); a hammock by the pool; shaded outdoor dining area; multiple loungers around the pool.

La maison de Lina est très agréable, très bien équipée et joliement décorée. Nous étions un groupe de 6 et la maison est très spacieuse. Un grand merci à Lina pour les généreuses courses qui nous accueillaient le premier jour. Une petite plage à quelques minutes à pied permet de se baigner et de prendre un café, ce qui est très agréable.

Due to a last minute serious accident my husband and I were sadly not able to travel, so our young adult children and their partners went without us. The kindness that Elfi and her mother showed them, helping them to arrange taxis, shopping and even leaving our youngest daughter breakfast on their first day because they had not been able to go shopping yet, was so appreciated by us all. They had a wonderful time and loved the house and their holiday in Mykonos. We are most grateful to Elfi and her mother for caring for them.
