The house is located directly next to the medieval church on the largest wierde in the Netherlands. Many beautiful authentic villages in the area , the infinite polders and the bird(spot)rich cellars of the Wadden Sea can be admired within cycling distance. A visit to the city of Groningen and islands Schiermonnikoog and Borkum is also worthwhile!

The Chalet is well equipped (real bed/kitchen/Shower/wood burning stove/Wifi) and provide with a spacious terrace. If you want you can get eggs from our own chickens. Cozy and complete house in the center of Winsum. The house is a nice base for the first 2 stages of the Pieterpad (Main station Groningen only 15 min. from Winsum station). Many amenities within walking distance, such as AH, cafes and eateries. The train station and the winsumerdiep are also within walking distance. The house is suitable for 1 to 5 people. There are 2 terraces. The 2nd bedroom is only accessible when booking from 3 people.

The Waddenland has a lot to offer, and you can reach the boat to Schiermonnikoog in fifteen minutes. The city of Groningen itself can also be reached within half an hour.
